This car show was originally conceived to help the economy of Reno during the “dog days” of summer….that was 24 years ago when it was just a two-day event with about 500 cars and drawing 40,000 people; as of this years’ car show there are 6,000 registered cars and the event drew over 800,000 people to Reno.
