Today marked the very first (in Texas) Hot Rod Revolution Car Show and from the way things looked, it won't be the last! Entries in this show were limited to pre-1949 and very traditional.
Now, I have nothing against high dollar cars with a lot of bling, but it was pretty refreshing to wander around in the midst of 100+ hot rods of the old school. Flatheads everywhere you looked, chopped, channeled, and sounding good!
This was put together by Lone Star Roundup founder Steve Wertheimer, Ryan of HAMB and Will Muntz, and it seems like when Steve puts his magic touch to a car show, it's a genuine hit. Lots of vendors, lots of music, lots of good food, and most of all, lots of REAL hot rods.
The show was held on the grounds of the now defunct downtown Austin electric power plant, and the industrial, art deco back grounds made for some nice photos..........I hope you agree."
