"I had thought that after last year's 600 cars, the Houston Autorama would be peaked out......I mean, how many cars can you get in a single building?
 
Well, not so. This year there were 650 !!
 
And it's not just the show cars there that are the attraction.  No siree. You have the Auction Barn, that featured some of the finest rides I've ever seen on sale, you have the Roller Derby Girls giving demos and talking to the folks (I used to watch roller derby with my grandmother...she loved the elbows and headlocks!), you have a huge vendors area, and, get this....... On hand signing autographs and posing for pictures was Alex from the Ice Road Truckers TV Show (why this is

 such a favorite of my wife, Helen, I just really can't figure out, but she loves it!).
 
But the cars on display are what we show up to see..  With the Houston Autorama being the last show in the ISCA show car season, the owners go all out to garner those final points of the year, and even if you are not in the points chase, this is that one last chance to show it off before either putting it away for the winter or pulling into the garage to make even more modifications.
 
The Houston Autorama is well worth the time, and it keeps getting better!" Too Low
