This end of summer show (we hope) was still at 92 plus degrees on the hot scale on the asphalt with some shade on the edges of the lot and a lot of A/C inside the Leisure Lanes Bowling Alley. Jan our host was expecting a light turn out with the snow birds not here yet and the heat of summer still on most of the other shows in the area have been smaller in size, WRONG. Today was the day for all to get out, all 156 cars filled the lot and signed in by the noon hour. Raffle sales and 50/50 tickets were flying everywhere along with chairs and sun traps going up, with the Leisure Lanes hosting the free lunch at the inside snack shack, while waiting in line to eat. The surprise birthday of one of the cruisers also added a party to the group and more air conditioning time for the day. The day ended with a top 30 Awards and 10 Specialty and
