My son Mike is the clutch man on one of the cars, so naturally, I follow them closely...unfortunately, the 'patch' gremlins set in, as after qualifying 8th with a 6.153 @ 229.70 mph, with Chris Bennett stepping in for Troy Green, who, while there, has been unable to complete his cross-over licensing due to the previous two weekends of rain at Famoso...so, much the same as what sidelined Donny Couch and Mendy Fry, just too many large pieces were generated to continue...
