Rainy November weather didn't keep the faithful car nuts from filling the parking lot and streets to see what Steve Frisbie was up to in his award winning shop. Doughnuts were provided to ease the pain of the weather, but it was the tin inside that blew their minds and got their attention. Steve, his crew, and several of his long time customers were on hand to show and tell and there was a lot of that to do.
Gary Coe was in the house for instance with his multiple award winning '57 Ford truck, letting the crowd get up close and personal with the awesome hauler. Another recently finished project is the unbelievable '33 Dodge pickup that has garnered its share of the gold in the short time that it has been completed.
Steve's shop not only builds some of the best hot rods in the country, they also make '33 and '34 Ford roadster and three window coupe bodies. There was even the original '34 Ford hot rod coupe that was the basis for their new three windows. You know when you have your audience in hand when they prove to be genuinely interested in all the projects and stick around as long as they can. A lot of fun on a wet Saturday morning showing that the quality of cars in the Northwest is indeed 2nd to none. Visit their website at www.stevesautorestorations.com
