Tonite I ventured north of my location once again, to take in a cruise I have not visited for a few years. A couple of years ago this cruise moved from a water side setting to a very large Pentacostal church on Reach Street. There was a turnout of 108 cars and there is lots of room for expansion on the large church lot. I found a couple of new cars making their local debuts. #1...A very rarely seen car made into a street rod, a 1931 Oldsmobile coupe painted two tone Cadilllac colours of shale green and silver beige. Car had many original options....dual fender well side mounts, rear luggage rack, dual rear lights, golf club door, swallow radiator ornament, bumper guards, and lastly a rumble seat with roll down rear window. #2 A really cute, stone stock, restored 1957 Nash Metropolitan. Watch out for the tail pipe extension hanging out there. #3 A 1937 Ford 3 window made by OZ? body company. After the local heat wave and humidity nightmare it was nice to have a nice nite with regular temps.
