Kustoms for a Cure is an organization whose goal is to take a bite out of cancer by raising money to fund cancer research. Through our passion of all custom vehicles, Kustoms for a Cure is committed to focusing our talents and resources to eliminating cancer from our world. We do this by holding an annual Kustoms for a Cure car show in Bakersfield, California. Each year 100% of our proceeds go to the cancer Research Institute to fund their research on cancer. The Cancer Research Institute is one of the leading organizations in finding a cure. This year we held our show on Saturday, October 15th, 2011, and it was very successful. This was our second show and we were able to donate even more than we were able to during the first show. We hope each year that we are able to do and donate more to cancer research so that we can aid in finding the cure. Our show is a single day, where all makes and models of vehicles can come and show. We award company sponsored plaques to the cars as well as one best of show trophy. We have all kinds of fun vendor booths, raffles, as well as food, so our show is a fun and family friendly day. This year our show was close to Halloween, so we also had a character from one of our local haunted houses come out and have fun with the crowd. Next year we are planning our show to be even bigger and better!
