Fallbrook Vintage Car Show
(Rain or Shine)
Fallbrook, CA

On May 29, 2011, The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club presented its 46th annual Vintage Car Show.  Fallbrook is a comfortable rural town of 30,000 population, just north of San Diego, CA.  It once housed a stagecoach stop for the stage that ran from Temecula to San Diego.  It claims the title "Avocado Capital of the World."

Contrary to past years, a light rain was annoying in the morning till around 10am. The show was limited to 300 vehicles. The variety is always amazing ranging from 100 year old “Brass” cars to domestic & foreign models, and stock or modified vehicles. The Fallbrook Firefighters put on a filling breakfast.  The Swap Meet had lots of tempting offerings.  A DJ played classic music all day.  At 2:00pm 25 class awards were presented.  Last year this show allowed the Car Club to make donations to 22 non-profit organizations. Approximately 75% of the money went to Fallbrook charities concentrating on the youth of Fallbrook. The other 25% went to support military-related charities.  This was a great show, benifiting the community.

Thanks for the Show
