The weekend after the 4th is celebrated in Ferndale, WA. with the Firecracker Rod Run in Pioneer Park, a beautiful location featuring restored heritage buildings, a great grassy field for events and activities and a camp ground with stage for music and other presentations. All this is used by the Whatcom County Cruising Association for their Annual Firecracker Rod Run.
The fun begins on Friday with the “Buck-a-Bowl Chili Feed”, registration and “tire-kickin’”. Saturday is show day with a Poker Walk, engine blow, Show and Shine, dinner and an evening cruise to Birch Bay. Sunday is the raffle draw and trophy presentation after a breakfast served by the Cruisers. This is a great family event and shouldn’t be missed! See you next year in Ferndale!
