Goodguys
1st Fall Del Mar Nationals

Del Mar Fairgrounds
November 25, 26 & 27, 2011

The 1st Goodguys Fall Del Mar Nationals began Friday at the scenic Del Mar Fairgrounds!  The weather couldn’t have been better, warm and sunny.  Like the Spring event, this also offers a Swap Meet, cars For Sale area, a Surf Woody exhibit, a “Nitro Thunderfest” of Top Fuel dragsters, a Model & Pedal Car show, and the famous Goodguys Autocross.  A host of vendors provided a wide variety of goods included; auto parts, personalized license plates, engines, Chinese Acupuncture, auto insurance, custom car shops, slot racers, bric-a-brac, Hawaiian and hot rod shirts, golden oldies music and tapes, bicycles, drivelines, hubcaps, tools, motorcycles and choppers, gaskets, rims, wheels, car seats and signs.

Every so often cars will leave their parking space and make a cruise down the Cruise route.  Everywhere you go there are friendly people, who will willingly talk to you about their cars, offer you a chair and make you feel right at home.

The Goodguys AutoCross has located in an area that was amongst the show cars.  The sound of revving engines and burning rubber drew a huge crowd. The track was open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  It was, by-far, the most popular area at the event. The Super Sunday “Get-Together” featured all years of American made or powered cars and trucks.

This 1st Goodguys Fall Del Mar Nationals ends up being fantastic cars, wonderful people, nice weather, and a well-done show.

Thanks for the Show!
