I had a great time at Reiff's 11th Annual Street Bash in Woodland. Mark Reiff has turned his home into a gas station museum. It has been called "Woodland's Coolest Tourist Attraction". Mark lives in quiet neighborhood and gets Jefferson St. and McKenley Ave blocked off for the day. Reiff's home and yard has a lot of memorabilia. ( the guys from American Pickers would be envious)
This was a Pot Luck meal that had some good food. Some of the neighbors also sold BBQ and soda and chips. Nice to have good understanding neighbors. The band was the Spiders, they started off with ZZ Top songs and worked into Beach Boys and Blues Brothers.
The gathering is sort of a kick off for the Woodland Hot Rod Reunion show that is held the next day at the fairgrounds. This is a great place to visit. Tours are given by appointment. Dean
