The NSRA held its 16th Annual NSRA Appreciation day on Sunday, May 22, 2011; the event was hosted by California Car Cover at its Chatsworth, California headquarters. Over 330 of the hottest street rods, muscle cars and customs gathered at the event and were displayed in the parking lot, side streets and even in front of the company facility on the lawn.
The weather was cool during the morning hours, but the sun came out at noon and held through the end of the show. Free donuts, bagels, coffee & OJ in the morning, followed by free hamburgers, hot dogs and soda’s for lunch, plus good music, lots of raffle items and the no-pressure car show (i.e. no trophy competition) make for a great day to just visit with friends and enjoy the day. Add to all of that the opportunity to have your car safety inspected for free by the NSRA Safety Inspection Team and you’ve got one really great event! Mark your calendar now for next years’ event, usually scheduled for the 4th Sunday of May.
