The 11th Annual Uptown Whittier Car Show was held on Aug 20, 2011. The pre-registered hot rods were lining up at 6 am. The unregistered cars were on a side street waiting to be called. Uptown Whittier is picturesque, with big tall trees lining the streets. Many of the buildings are old style, some are brick, they are from an earlier era. The pre-’76 American hot rods are placed on 2 cross streets, the spectators walk down the middle of the streets to enjoy the cars. Vendor booths were also placed along the streets among the cars. The weather was very comfortable and lots of people were out to see the event. Thanks for the Show!!
