1971 VW

I was given a 71 VW chop top that was ready for the crusher so I really had nothing to lose so the plan was made to rod it so far I have sold off more parts than it has cost me as all work good or bad was done at home including the supercharging. The motto here is cut it weld it drive it

How many street rodded 1936 Desoto's have you seen?  Well, if you are ever in Southeast Texas, you will see this and often.  Built 350 backed by a 700R4.  Unfortunately the running boards are glass, they couldn't be saved.  But the rest is all original steel.  And of course, it has all the creature comforts.  Happy Rodding, and great site! 1957 Chevy 150 Sedan

I usually collect rods, however this car was hard to resist. I guess you could call it a resto-mod. Fully restored with radio and heater delete, the cobblestone interior and about everything else done up stock, if you look closely you will see that the rear fender openings have been opened 2” in the front and the rear, the wheel wells have been made 4” wider but left with the stock look. 502/502 Chevy Rat with a Tremec 5-speed. Tuned suspension with a Currie 9” rear, 4-link, coilovers all around, rack and pinion, and Wilwood disc all around. It's truly a sit down, shut up and hold on car. Hope you like it.
