MORE INFO;
This 1957 Chevrolet 3200 pickup is finished in green over gray cloth and powered by a replacement inline-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. The truck was repainted under previous ownership and was acquired by the seller in 2011. Features include 16″ steel wheels, whitewall tires, an oak bed floor, air conditioning, a side-mounted spare, dual carburetors, an Offenhauser intake manifold and valve cover, a Lokar floor-mounted gear shifter, and an aftermarket retro-style stereo. This Chevrolet pickup is offered with an operators manual and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The 3200 Series features a 7.5′ long bed and this example was refinished in green under previous ownership. Features include an oak bed floor, a wrap-around rear window, a driver-side mirror, dual chrome exhaust outlets, and a white-finished grille, bumpers, and headlight surrounds. Paint chips and other blemishes are shown up-close in the gallery.
White 16″ steel wheels wear chrome Chevrolet-branded hubcaps and are mounted with 7.00-16 Firestone whitewall tires. A matching spare is mounted to the bedside. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes. The rear suspension features leaf springs and shocks with coilover helper springs.
The cabin features a bench seat upholstered in gray cloth with patterned inserts joined by matching square-weave carpets and floor mats, and a white-finished steel dashboard and door panels. Equipment includes aftermarket air conditioning, a floor-mounted Lokar gear shifter, manual windows, lap belts, vent windows, and an aftermarket retro-style stereo. The auxiliary input for the stereo works intermittently.

The body-colored steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer which is broken, and inset gauges for temperature, amperage, oil pressure, and fuel level. Aftermarket gauges for coolant temperature and voltage are mounted beneath the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 2,700 miles, approximately 200 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement inline-six features dual carburetors mounted to an Offenhauser intake manifold as well as a polished Offenhauser valve cover and a 12-volt alternator. There is an oil leak.
