With a bold red look, proper V8 power, and those awesome vernicle stacks in the truck bed, this 1961 Chevrolet C10 Apache Stepside has some true street machine appeal. And everything from a bucket seat interior to four-on-the-floor really backs up this attitude.

Dodge has the Lil Red Express muscle trucks in the late 1970s that had the vertical exhaust stacks in the back, but this Chevy almost looks like it got there first. Those polished pipes look awesome and make a terrific sound. And that's not the only part of this intimidating package. After all, this one has a nice forward-leaning stance. Plus, red paint always seems a bit more aggressive, and because it's a later application, this also has a modern shine to show off the great curves of the first gen C10 and the rounded fenders of the desirable stepside body. There are more cool details, like the half-mirror headlights, hood pin trim, and soft tonneau bed cover. And there's also plenty of brightwork on this classic Chevy with chrome bumpers, Custom Cab trim, polished wheels, and even diamond plate steel on the bed floor.

The interior has a great muscle truck feel with a set of nice low-back bucket seats. There are some old-school touches, like the AM/FM cassette stereo, Pioneer speakers, and full equalizer, and they actually make for quite a cool and useful sound system. But the old-school feel you'll like the best is the way this one is also a cool driver's classic. That means vintage details like an Impala steering wheel and a Mack truck mascot shifter. The dash still uses the classic speedometer, and now this also has a large column-mounted tach and an auxiliary gauge trio in the dash. The whole package almost has a rat rod style feel - in all the best ways - and that impression continues under the hood.

The engine bay has an aged and stripped-out look that tells you the old powerhouse is long gone. This emptiness on the sides funnels your attention to the fresher and newer muscle in the middle. The bold orange block, shining valve covers, and ribbed Edelbrock valve covers make for a cool contrast to the patina inner fenders. We all love the power and adaptability of Chevy 350 cubic-inch V8. This one inhales deeply with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, and we all know exactly where this one exhales. Those vertical pipes in the bed keep this truck truly memorable. And you get firm control over it all thanks to the Muncie M20 four-speed manual transmission.

We can't say enough how much we love those pipes, and the rest of the truck has a cool hot/rat rod style that's irresistible, too. So you know this is the classic pickup that's going to be a ton of fun. Call today!!!
