Description:
This 1971 Chevrolet C10 Restomod is a thorough and thoughtful build. That's why you have the aircraft-inspired interior, cold-blowing A/C, four-wheel disc brakes, a fully adjustable air ride suspension, and a six-speed auto transmission. Plus, when you look in the engine bay, there's an LS-based supercharged V8 making sure that this custom long bed is bringing lengthy power to the streets.

This truck wants to make sure it gets noticed. It was born a two-tone that included Hugger Orange, but the restoration and respray upgraded it to a full muscle car-style boldness. It's part of a full custom respray that included cool purple ghost flames down the side. The paint was done in 1999, and it has been treated with care since. So today that means you have the right mix where the stylishness makes people remember this truck just by seeing it at the stoplight, and there's an overall easy driver finish that will have you taking it out every chance you get. And the paint is far from the only custom piece. The whole front end shines brighter with a billet grille, custom bow tie, and crystal-clear headlights. And the rear has a smoother style with the flush roll pan and aerodynamic tonneau bed cover. Plus, the profile loves to look sleeker, too. They deleted the badges, top-mounted the mirrors, and shaved the door handles. So there's less clutter and more attention is on the 20-inch Adventus AVS4 wheels. So it's great to have them fit in the wheel wells so nicely, especially when the air ride has the stance sporty and low.

The key fob has your door popper, and this is your gateway to a full custom setup. The black interior looks good against the orange exterior, and there are even orange accents on the dash and doors. There's some age to the orange paint, and that may have been done on purpose because the dash reminds us of a classic airplane. All the toggle switches and individual gauges bolted to the panel mean this Chevy is more like a P51 Mustang. More than just looking powerful, the Procar bucket seats, Grant GT sports steering wheel, and B&M ratchet shifter make sure you have the right components to give you confident control over the performance. And while this one certainly plays the part of a power pickup, there is also a comfortable overall style with good carpeting, a newer headliner, a cup holder center console, and cold-blowing air conditioning.

While there are plenty of attractive custom components on the interior and exterior that will draw a crowd, we're willing to bet the big air grabber peeking out of the hood is what really brings them all to you. This 6.0-liter L77 V8 motor is a great modern fuel-injected base. The consignor states it has been enhanced and fortified with stainless valves, rectangular port 823 heads, LS9 Head Gaskets, BTR dual valve springs with titanium retainers, LS3 Rockers with Tick Performance trunnion upgrade, and 9.6:1 compression. But of course, the real crowd-pleaser and power-maker is the Weiand blower and dual throttle bodies sitting on top of this V8. This even exhales with power as Hedman headers add power and thunder to the H-pipe dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. You also have the right supporting pieces, including an aluminum radiator and four electric fans. A stout 6L80 six-speed automatic transmission was also added so that you have good ratios to handle the full power. It feeds a Richmond 4.10 with Yukon Duragrip limited-slip rear for confident and powerful take-offs. The undercarriage photos reveal terrific suspension upgrades like the tubular front arms, Hotchkis shocks, and upgraded sway bars front and rear. Power steering, four-wheel power disc brakes, and the grip of modern sport tires complete this true cruising package.

This is an impressive air ride supercharged restomod. And we especially like how this custom and powerful pickup was really made to be driven and enjoyed. Don't let it slip away. Call today!!!
