Description:
INTRODUCTION: Now this car has got the eyeball! I ought to order this red in 55-gallon drums, the color is absolutely stunning. This Chevelle is far more than just a pretty face. It's been completely restored and loaded with everything you want- big block power, air conditioning, power steering, upgraded brakes and suspension, and much more.
EXTERIOR: The exterior is straight up sexy! It's finished in extra bright Rally Red, from rockers to roof, with a smooth, glass like finish that looks wet. The body itself is clean, straight, and fits beautifully. A metal cowl hood adds just the right amount of aggressive attitude. The chrome and trim have been replaced, and it features dual mirrors along with a rear mounted antenna. The LED headlights, tinted glass, clean jambs, and replaced weatherstrips all add to the fresh appearance. It's rolling on a sharp set of 18-inch Boyd Coddington chrome wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich performance tires, giving the car the perfect stance and finishing off the look just right.
INTERIOR: Inside is beautifully finished, you definitely won't mind spending time behind the wheel of this one. Down on the floor is fresh carpet with embroidered mats, while the seats have good cushion and were completely reupholstered. The door panels, headliner and visors were replaced, and the metal trim is painted a glass finish red to match the exterior. The dash area has been restored with a new dash pad and upgraded with a full set of custom gauges that glow red. A retro stereo fits neatly in the factory location, and 6x9 speakers are mounted in the rear shelf. It also features a center console with a working clock, a beautiful polished wood-rim steering wheel on a tilt column, and upgraded LED interior lighting. There's even a "knee knocker" tach mounted under the dash, keeping a bit of old school muscle car charm.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Opening the hood is like looking into a jewelry store showcase! Everything is sparkling, detailed, and beautifully presented. But it is more than just eye candy. Under the hood is a strong running 396 big block topped with a polished intake, Edelbrock carb, HEI ignition, and a set of coated headers. The plug wires are neatly routed, complemented by matching chrome valve covers and air cleaner. Up front, it's upgraded with a modern air conditioning system, chrome alternator, and power steering with a remote reservoir. The power brake system is even chromed. It runs cool with an aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. The engine bay itself is painted slick red with a smoothed firewall, and even the hoses are routed behind the fenders for an exceptionally clean appearance.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and in the jamb, the paint is slick and glossy red just like the exterior. Inside, the metal is clean and solid with a neat spatter paint finish, and it's topped off with a custom cut carpeted mat for a clean appearance.
UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame, underneath is fresh! The steering and suspension was completely rebuilt. It's upgraded with UMI 1-inch front sway bar and a complete UMI four link setup in back, also with a 1 inch sway bar along with boxed control arms and gas shocks. It's a Wilwood brake system with drilled and slotted discs and red calipers at all four wheels and a custom e-brake assembly. Great sounding 3 inch exhaust with crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. The fuel system was replaced including the tank. Looking up at the motor, it is Chevy orange with a high torque starter and a chrome flywheel cover. The Turbo 400 automatic shifts strong and has an aluminum finned oil pan. A rebuilt drive shaft leads back to the 12-bolt rear end with 3.08 posi gears, nice for cruising, and it's capped off with a polished finned aluminum cover. The chassis components are painted gloss black and the floors appear to be spotless metal, also nicely painted.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell.
CONCLUSION: Yes, there are other Chevelles out there, but don't you want this one? Why settle when this car meets or exceeds everything you could hope for in a muscle car? The looks, the performance, the features, and the quality are all here waiting for you.
