Known as, “Redline” - this is ultimate pro-touring 1963 Corvette Split-Window Coupe street machine. Handcrafted by Troy Lundquist Restorations to high-show quality standards and completed in 2022. It's been decorated with prestigious awards including 1st Place and Top 10 at Autorama along with Best Street Machine at ISCA. This example is one of only 10,594 Corvette Split-Window Coupes ever built. This original factory GM body was restored on a rotisserie focusing on the structural integrity, fit and finish, including reinforcement of known C2 stress points. The laser straight body with precise gap lines was finished in Firecracker Red. The body and paint work is simply exquisite. The fenders were decorated with Fuel Injection Cross Flags red, white and blue emblems. It was outfitted with all glass and trim pieces throughout. It rolls on Schott Mach 5 18” front and 20” rear wheels that are mounted to Michelin Pilot Sport 4S redline tires. The rear was modified with 4” mini tubs to accommodate the massive rear tires. Inside, a custom interior by Dale Hancock Upholstery blends period-correct design with contemporary comfort featuring saddle leather and black suede. The headliner was trimmed in tan suede and the floors were covered with matching German weave carpeting. The custom sport leather seats were made from the original C2 seats and modified to accommodate taller drivers. Some of the interior features include Dakota Digital gauges, Flaming River tilt steering column, Billet Specialties Victory 14” steering wheel, Vintage Air conditioning, power windows, full length center console with cup holder and storage. The sound system includes a Custom Autosound radio, JL Audio amplifier and speakers. The immaculate engine compartment is home to the GM Performance 376ci LS3 that's factory rated with 525 horsepower. The engine was outfitted with original-styled Corvette black finned valve covers and a custom cold air intake. The engine breathes through custom stainless headers and dual exhaust system with Magnaflow polished mufflers and resonators. The engine is cooled by a Griffith aluminum radiator with dual SPAL electric fans. The engine is coupled to a GM Performance 4L70E automatic transmission. A switch on the center console puts the transmission into performance mode. The power is transferred to the Strange Ford 9” limited slip rear end with Strange 31-spline axles and 3.73 gears. The body sits on a new Art Morrison Chassis that was powder coated black. The floors were refinished in high-gloss black. It's equipped with power rack and pinion steering, stainless fuel tank, tublar upper and lower control arms, 4-link rear suspension, Strange coil over adjustable shocks, Wilwood power 4-wheel disc brakes with red calipers, drilled and slotted rotors. Pictures of the awards are included. This vehicle has been serviced and detailed which is documented with an invoice. From the MS CLASSIC CARS Collection.
