This 1978 Chevrolet K10 Silverado 4x4 stands above the rest...literally. We know you'll like the vibrant paint, beefy attitude, and seriously powerful V8. But also don't forget to check out all the extras in the comfy interior that make this an all-around awesome total build.
You're instantly attracted to this truck because it's a distinctive custom from all angles. It starts with sublime green paint that gives this truck its nickname. The color has a vibrancy that attracts attention, and there's equality from the even gloss that lets the sunlight roll smoothly over the beefy hood lines and the curvaceous rear fenders. There are also plenty of custom color-matched elements, like the roll bar, KC Day Lighters on top, windshield sunshade, rear roll pan, and the bar across the grille with Chevy bow tie. The headlights even have green halos. There's also upgraded brightwork that adds to the truck's beefy attitude. It includes the visible diff covers, large front bumper, and the 15-inch off-road wheels, including the one mounted Baja-style in the bed. It truly is a full custom package, but they did remember to give you a hint of classic style with the real wood on the bed floor.
The interior continues this truck's custom green theme, but what might impress you the most is the well-integrated custom comfort. For example the seating is now an upgraded bucket setup with a cup holder center console in-between. You can also fold it up to fit a third person in a pinch. The gray upholstery coordinates with the newer carpeting, door panels, and dash for a well-done look and feel. This has switches for factory features like power windows, but what you'll really love are the playful labels on the upgrades for everything from the accent lights (Mother Ship) to the pump in-between the dual fuel tanks (the NOS switch.) The stereo is an AM/FM/CD player with aux input, Bluetooth, upgraded speakers, and a flip-up backup camera. And the investment in custom pieces also includes making this a better driver. That means a grippy Grant GT sport steering wheel, and an awesome custom gauge package with Sublime's color and the name in the tach.
There's more bold green in the engine bay, but really, your attention is going to be on all the performance parts of the V8 in the middle. This is a 383 cubic-inch stroker crate engine built by the masters at Skip White Performance. It's built with a hydraulic roller cam, NKB aluminum heads, dual plane intake, and topped with a Pro-Systems 750CFM four-barrel carburetor. And ceramic-coated headers add power while contributing to the thunder of the rather straight set of dual exhaust pipes with glasspack style mufflers. The full package is said to be rated at over 500 horsepower. To handle all this power is TCI Maximizer TH350 three-speed automatic transmission with ProTorque 2800 stall converter. The NP203 4x4 transfer case was converted to part-time so you get more practical control over your off-road work, and there's a nice set of BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/As on the wheels. And because this is the kind of custom truck that will do plenty of on-road work, too, it's easy to drive with power steering, power brakes, and front discs.
Complete with build receipts, this is a memorable custom truck that has only 14.5k miles on the whole build (and about 8k on the motor.) So don't let such a unique 4x4 that's also so affordable slip away. Call today!!!
