This 1967 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova takes an upgraded V8 power, a sports suspension, and four-wheel disc brakes, and wraps it all in a cool two-tone. It really delivers the right classic style with all the extras.
The two-tone metallic blue and silver give the exterior a stylish custom look. The luster has a smooth look with a radiant style. And not only does the painted red pinstripe provide a dividing line across the full body, but it's also used to show off the sporty kick-up in the rear fenders. Overall, it's stylishly done with a driver-ready kind of impression. And that's exactly what you want because the features of this one prove it's a classic that's made to be driven. The big chrome bumpers, full-length body crease, and outstretched fenders are all part of the substantial style that came on these second-generation Novas. So the compact car had no trouble looking like a big power machine. And this one turns it up a few notches with a cowl hood, hood pins, and SS badges. Plus, those Weld-style wheels with wide rear tires give this a terrific stance.
The interior does a great job of blending vintage and new. For example, the upholstery is a fresher investment, but the style of the seats and door panels keep the detailed look of the Nova's deluxe factory package - including the sporty white stripe. In fact, this retains a classic appearance, right down to the details like AM radio on display and working dome light. As the driver, you get the desirable bucket seat and center console combo. You slip behind an upgraded three-spoke sports steering wheel that's on a tilt column. It gives you a clear view of the gauges, including the auxiliary readouts mounted under the dash.
We love it when the inner walls of the engine bay are this dark and clean. It just seems to let the fresh-looking V8 stand out even more. The 350 cubic-inch powerhouse is nicely dressed with the polished Edelbrock air topper, matching valve covers, and a bold orange block. And you'll also spot the right supporting components, like the aluminum radiator with an electric cooling fan. Of course, the best parts are the performance pieces like the Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and headers that feed the H-pipe dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. The undercarriage photos show a clean setup, and also some nice upgrades, like the tubular front control arms, subframe connectors, driveshaft U loop, and four-link rear with adjustable coilovers. This strong package can also be easy to enjoy thanks to the three-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel disc brakes.
