This gorgeous 1991 Ford Mustang GT Hatchback 5-speed with 12,162 original miles is an excellent example of an unmolested Fox Body Mustang. It also sports the extremely desirable color combination of Ultra Blue Clearcoat Metallic and Titanium. As the Marti Auto Works Deluxe Marti Report documents this example was built on August 15th, 1991 at Dearborn as a GT Hatchback. A total of 24,677 GT Hatchback models were produced in 1991. This example is one of only 2,312 produced with Ford paint code #M6383 Ultra Blue Clearcoat Metallic with Titanium lower accent paint. The car was sold to the first owner who lived in Grangeville, Idaho on February 22nd, 1992 with 162 miles. The original owner was the caretaker for almost 21 years before it was purchased by the second owner who lived in O Fallon, Illinois in 2012. The second owner decided to sell the car 9 years later and titled it to sell on August 8th, of 2021. The exterior of this Fox Body is absolutely beautiful with its iconic factory design and extremely desirable color combination. The Ultra Blue Clearcoat Metallic paint is all original throughout. It was tested with an electronic paint meter which is a non-destructive testing device used to measure the thickness of a coating, most commonly automotive paint. It evaluates the clear coat, base coat and primer down to the metal substrate to reveal hidden bodywork, prior resprays and overall paint health. This car passed as 100% original factory paint and photos of the presentation are included in the gallery. The paint was recently detailed to a show quality shine by the team at MS CLASSIC CARS. Everything on the exterior is original and in excellent condition such as the tinted glass, moldings, seals, wiper arms, mirrors, lights and emblems. It's currently riding on the second set of 16x7 Pony 5-spoke cast aluminum wheels that are mounted to Goodyear Eagle Sport 225/55/16 tires. The original wheels and date code tires are included along with Rosefray tire totes for storage. Everything on the exterior is in working order including the original aero halogen headlamps and fog lights. Please note, this vehicle is 35 years old and has been driven 12,162 miles so there are some minor imperfections on the exterior as expected. The interior of this Fox Body is also absolutely beautiful especially with the way it contrasts with the exterior. The Titanium cloth/vinyl trimmed interior is in amazing condition throughout. It's equipped with illuminated visor mirrors, leather-wrapped steering wheel and console with armrest. The full instrumentation includes a tachometer, temperature gauge, battery voltmeter, oil pressure gauge and trip odometer. The articulated sport seats have power lumbar support and it has a split folding rear seat. The team at MS CLASSIC CARS upgraded the factory air conditioning with new R134 parts so it blows ice cold. The original air conditioning parts are included and pictured in the gallery. The carpeted rear cargo area is also in beautiful condition throughout. It's equipped with the original spare wheel, tire and jack tools. Everything in the interior is in working order including the original electronic AM/FM radio with cassette, clock and graphic equalizer. Yes, the original stereo and EQ are in excellent working order! Please note there are two minor 4” cracks under the clothing hooks on the rear panels which is common. These two imperfections are shown in the photo gallery.

The engine compartment is very original and nicely detailed throughout. This engine compartment has never been modified in any way. It still retains the original factory stickers and paint assembly marks. With the exception of the recent new AC parts, it also retains all of its original parts right down to the spark plug wires. The original spark plugs with pink on the tips are included. The car is powered by the original 5.0L EFI HO 8-cylinder engine. The engine was factory rated with 225 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. The team at MS CLASSIC CARS performed a full-service and it runs excellent. The engine breathes through the original sport tuned dual exhaust system. The engine is coupled to the original 5-speed transmission with overdrive. The clutch is easy to operate and it shifts smoothly through the gears. The power is transferred to the traction-lock rear axle. MS CLASSIC CARS also installed a new Ford Motorcraft heavy-duty battery.

The undercarriage is also very original and nicely detailed throughout. The spotless floors are finished in the original paint. The undercarriage has never been modified in any way. It still retains the original factory stickers and paint assembly marks. It's equipped with power rack and pinion steering with 15:1 ratio. The handling suspension includes variable rate springs, gas pressurized struts and shocks, quadra shock rear suspension. It's also equipped with power front disc and rear drum brakes.

**Please note this vehicle has a clean Car Fax Report with three ownership and no accidents or damage. However, when the vehicle was serviced by the third owner at FOX Grand Traverse in Traverse City, Michigan on September 2nd, 2021 the service agent added a zero by mistake to the mileage (110,041) which should've read (11,041). I wasn't noticed until the next service at FOX Grand Traverse and it was corrected on June 6th, 2022 (11,093).
