This 40 ford has been stylized to resemble a 1950's/60's mild hot rod. Sporting wide white walls tires, hand made custom interior with horse shoe style design and also 2" rolled and pleated inserts. Door design resembles seatmore like a rea design. Front seat started out as a Glide Engineering bench bucket, but I redesigned back rest to look more like an original bench. Custom sun visors with same design as seats.
The engine is a zz4 350 crate engine/345 horse, aluminum heads, torker intake, 600-cfm Edelbrock, 57 corvette valve covers with adapter to the new style head bolt pattern, GM HEI, Walker radiator 4" core.
Nicely done exhaust with old school dump plugs.
This car is a driver, you can hop in it and go anywhere no problem. Its solid and drives very well. Power disk brakes in the front, and drum on the 8.8" ford rear end sprung by parallel leaf springs. Steering is power rack and pinion, and suspended by way of a (Heidts) independent mustang 2 aftermarket.
All the glass tinted and has been replaced as too the felts in the window channel.
A CD player, and am/fm stereo mounted in the original radio space, antans under the running board. AC in Vintage Air and is new.
The trunk is also upholstered and lighted with a switch.
