Description:
This 1923 Ford T-bucket has been under the same care for two decades, and in that time, there has been a lot of love and investment to have a very cool classic. You see it in the full color-matched style, classic details (including the well-built flathead V8,) and a strong overall roadster driver appeal.

This has been under the same care of one person for approximately the last 18 years. And there is quite a careful quality to the full build. We know that because the paint was done towards the beginning of his ownership, and the vibrant yellow can still put new applications to shame. The yellow body sits on the black powder-coated frame for a cool contrast. But the beautifully painted stripes, hinged rear deck cover, and Mooneyes headlight covers are what really set this apart for a comprehensive intertwined two-tone style. It sets the mood for a thoughtful build. After all, even the motor is fully painted to coordinate! There's also extra care seen in the brightwork. It's in the clean look of the drop axle front end. The way the side mirrors also carry the turn signals. And there are great classic T-Bucket essentials like the upright grille, two-piece windshield frame, and carriage lights on the rear.

These cars are meant to be open to the world, and so the yellow dash and all the black inside make sure this gives the total impression of a thoughtful build. In fact, we're told this is the third version of the interior because the consignor really wanted to get it right. This is only about a year old, and so it has the kind of presentation you'll show with pride. It's all built around the driver, and so you have a well-done look with the Lokar floor shifter and a Grant sports steering wheel on a polished column. And the smooth dash is dominated by an upgraded gauge package with a large speedo and tach.

We love seeing a classic flathead motor leading the way. This 221 cubic-inch V8 is ready for primetime where it seems anything that isn't done in black or yellow is polished brightly. This includes the firewall to give you a cool mirror-like style. You have the right vintage T-Bucket power style with a ported & polished setup, dual Demon 98 carbs, an Edelbrock intake, and those unfiltered growling side pipes. You'll also notice this was built with the right thoughtful cruiser details, too. It includes a Holley electronic fuel pump, Mallory ignition, and a custom radiator with an electric fan. The undercarriage photos reveal more of the best in hot rod components, like hairpin radius rods up front and ladder bars with adjustable coilovers in the rear. The C4 three-speed automatic transmission takes the power and helps feed it to those extra-wide rear tires. There's even a nice set of front disc brakes for added stopping power.

The sale comes complete with a comprehensive stack of maintenance records and build receipts. There's even a long list of components available for addition to the sale (call for the full details.) This T-bucket loves to show off everything from its shimmer to its V8 growl. So if you're not timid, you know this is the one you want. Call today!!!
