RECENT DRASTIC PRICE REDUCTION TO: $49,900
A superbly built 1934 Ford Vicky Highboy. The solid Downs body was meticulously blocked and sanded and the doors were gapped before the custom Aztec gold mix was applied. Pete & Jake’s chassis was fitted with a Super Bell 4” drop axle that was ground smooth and also finished in the custom gold mix; the leaf springs were also painted to match and the spring perches, bat wings, bars, etc. were chromed. Out back there is a slightly narrowed new 9-inch ford with posi traction and 3:50 gears. New drum brakes rear and new Wilwood disc brakes up front. All the plumbing on the chassis was done in stainless tubing. The exhaust uses magna flow stainless mufflers and ceramic coated 2” exhaust.
Mild 383 stroker roller motor mated to a 350-turbo transmission hooked up to a Lokar shifter. The motor is topped with an aluminum edelbrock performer rpm manifold #6075, aluminum heads with matching edelbrock intake (chrome) and edelbrock carburetor, approximate 400 hp. Msd ignition, Walker 4 core radiator with a cooling components electric fan. Sanderson headers, chrome drive pulleys, chrome alternator, and chrome Sanderson ac compressor finish out the front of the motor. Billets specialties valve covers and Alan Grove brackets were painted in the custom gold mix. The oil sensor, msd cap, and fan shroud were all smoothed and painted to match as well. Vintage air and heat. A custom chromed aluminum windshield frame was added; all windows are smoker glass (not tinted). A Rootlieb 4-piece hood and a chrome Bob Drake grille was used for the front end; integrated turn signals incorporated in the headlights. Numerous hours were spent fitting the hood and grille to perfection. The rear of the body was slightly channeled to house the rear end and get the stance just right.
The car rides on Firestone Deluxe Champion Coker bias ply tires; 7.50–16 rear; 6.50–16 front. Wheel Vintique steel wheels caps and beauty rings.
The custom interior uses hybrid vinyl to cover the front and rear Teas seats and also the door panels and a bit of alligator material was added for just the right accent. The dash was painted gold which holds VDO chrome bezel, white face gauges and behind it sits the Vintage Air Gen II unit. The electric windows seal up nice and tight and the battery is located behind the rear seat. American Autowire harness was used to wire the car. There are electronic door poppers that control the doors and the buttons are hidden outside the car, also suicide door locks. There has been a great deal of attention and detail on the build of this Vicky. This gorgeous sedan has been driven 2400 care-free miles since retiring from the pro-show circuit and is a joy to drive.
This car debuted at the Indy World of Wheels and won best rod chassis, best rod interior, best rod engine, first in class, and the Casi cup. This car is absolutely stunning. The underside is finished like the rest of the car.
