This 1997 Jeep Wrangler is a rugged 4x4 that has been given a terrific fuel-injected V8 upgrade to really enhance its off-road prowess. And while you can see the exterior has been upgraded to enhance the ruggedness, too, the interior delivers some of the added comforts that come from a Jeep that is a few generations younger than the CJ. It all lets you know there has been the right investment made to create your ideal 4x4.
The exterior has the off-road equivalent of a "murdered out" appearance. The whole body is covered in robust liner paint, including the desirable half-doors and hardtop roof. Within this darkness you can also spot more upgrades like the sturdy steel front bumper, rear bumper with tow hitch, 15-inch ProComp wheels, and rocker rock sliders. And while the full package is about darkness there are bright LEDs for the headlights, auxiliary lights, and back-up lights to make sure this dark machine can turn night into day.
The interior continues some of the robust details with weather-resistant seat covers and a full liner paint floor (including the clean rear cargo area.) But what you'll really appreciate is how this is a driver-quality and driver-ready SUV. That means a proper center console, cup holders, and an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with Bluetooth. This even has provisions for factory air conditioning (it will likely need a recharge to blow cold again.) Dual airbags, a full gauge package, a tilt steering column, and a modern safety cage are all part of what makes a custom Wrangler like this also quite practical.
The LS/Vortec line of motors is the choice for those who want modern power with classic Chevy small block style robustness. So it's nice to see the fuel-injected 5.3-liter V8 upgrade under the hood done with care. You'll spot good supporting components like an aluminum radiator with electric fan, an Optima red top battery, and an OEM computer. We're even told this is possibly a cate motor recently installed, and it certainly has the appearance of a fresh build. The same goes for the five-speed manual transmission. So while it's unknown if the odometer reflects the full actual mileage, you also know there has been plenty invested in many newer and fresher components that upgrade the power and robustness. The 4x4 drivetrain with two-speed transfer case, Fox shocks, AntiRock front sway bar, and deep tread on the Mickey Thompson Baja off-road tires continue the go-anywhere prowess of the Wrangler name. But with power steering and four-wheel power disc brakes, this is ready for in-town adventures, too.
This has a terrific V8 upgrade that's showcased with such an awesome rugged blackout package. So if you love attitude and true prowess, don't let this custom Wrangler slip away. Call today!!!
