Description:
BARN/GARAGE FIND: 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass. Engine: fresh 403 cu.in. Olds engine, totally rebuilt:stripped, block boiled, new camshaft bearings, Comp camshaft and lifters, cyl. walls honed, new rings, crankshaft polished, new bearings, timing gear assy., Streetmaster Aluminum heads and roller rocker arms and new pushrods, Edelbrock intake and carb(new), aluminum water pump, electric fuel pump, etc.
SUSPENSION: Complete Hotchkiss suspension, springs, shocks, control arms, heavy duty sway bars(front and rear).trailing arms, New brakes(power disc in front, drum in rear with proportioning valve), Suspension is dropped 2" in front, 1" in rear.
TRANSMISSION: T400 3 speed with new 2300 RPM stall converter. Rear end is a 12 bolt GM open trac(unsure of ratio)(comes with a 3:55 posi unit not installed).
INTERIOR: Original bucket seats with console and floor shift(shows some wear but no rips or tears). New carpets. GPS speedometer and A.M. gauges. New w/s wiper motor & switch(not installed)
BODY: Clean no rust body anywhere--painted approx. 12 years ago, a couple of imperfections(see photos). Top in good condition(installed when car was painted).
This vehicle needs top be taken over the finish line--some wiring to be straightened out and completed--will make very nice cruiser. Engine runs well--sounds awesome!
Hate to sell--I'm 82 years old with severe arthritis and 2 knee replacements pending. I think $20,000 is reasonable considering all the work already performed. Close offers considered. Must sell.
