      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/buick/electra/1963/listing/245893</link>
<description>1963 Buick Electra 225 - 2 Door (RARE) All original, numbers matching, CA car built in South Gate 401 Nailhead w/Dynaflow trans. This land yacht can move! This is the most complete all original car you'll find. Had this car for 10 years and it's been the best running and most reliable car I've owned!!! Original factory two-tone paint. Has every single piece of chrome and stainless steel on it in immaculate condition. 120k original miles! Has 22inch glaspak dual exhaust that sounds amazing. There is a slight exhaust leak on the headers but ticking goes away once car is warmed up. The Bad: Will need new tires soon as these are over 5 years old and showing cracking. Seats need to be completely redone (I know where you can find the original fabric). Trunk has alot of surface rust but has not eaten through. Paint also has surface rust (if you like patina look just clear coat it). Master cylinder has a small leak but this behemoth still stops! Transmission seals will probably need to be looked at (common for dynaflows). Car was purchased originally in Idaho where the owners after a short few months moved to Santa Monica and the car has since been in the area since 1963. I have extra parts including a grille, hubcaps, new in packaging weather stripping and vinyl trunk liner. Includes original manual from dealership. Also have extra stickers for the engine bay and air filter cover. <title>1961 Buick Electra</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/buick/electra/1961/listing/237775</link>
<description>Most likely the best '61 Electra on the planet! It underwent a no expense spared, body off frame restoration and was driven only 1,265 miles since completion. California and New Mexico rust free body. Meticulously detailed including every nut and bolt throughout!

EXTERIOR: Nostalgic cruiser! I absolutely love the fender port holes; 4 ports indicated top of the line. The arctic white paint was applied with great care and attention to specifics. It was then polished to a smooth and slick finish. Looking down the side of the long and laser straight body you will see smooth contours and crisp lines. The panels are all precisely aligned with beautiful consistent gaps that are spot on. The doors close easily with minimal effort. The front of this car is absolute artwork, with its catamaran influenced design. The front grille and bumper both have show quality chrome. All the glass was replaced and the window frames were rechromed. The floating Buick emblem is super cool. The remaining brightwork including chrome and stainless has been restored to a glorious shine. The nautical theme continues with the back bumper and its dual shark fins framing the beautifully sculpted taillights. It also has show quality chrome that reflects like a mirror. Well equipped with an optional spotlight and power antenna. The white power convertible vinyl top looks fresh and clean. Everything is rolling on 15" steel rims painted red to nicely compliment the interior. The rims are adorned with some of the coolest hubcaps ever and wrapped in reproduction BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall tires.

INTERIOR: Genuine leather! The red and white leather upholstery is soft and supple on the seats and door panels. I love the pleated stitching and tufted buttons. This Electra features the ultra-rare optional bucket seats with the hard-shell backs and a center console. The backs are beautifully painted red just like the lower dash, steering column, and steering wheel. The rare center console with storage has matching pleated stitching and leather. The interior chrome was also sent to the platers for a sparkling finish. Fully restored power convertible top frame with chrome plated hinges. As pretty as this interior is, it's the massive hooded bar speedometer definitely steals your attention. And the coolest part is your actually seeing the gauge in a mirror that easily adjusts with a dial for taller or shorter drivers. To its left is another dial that adjusts the buzzing speed indicator. All the bezels and knobs are in great shape. The interior chrome was redone and sparkles like jewelry. On top of the mint padded dash is a working optional clock. Power windows and seat make life easy in this luxury ride. To make life even better a modern stereo is cleverly concealed in the tissue dispenser!

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Gleaming! The Wildcat 401 Nailhead engine looks totally fresh and makes a powerful 325 hp and mega 445 ft lbs of torque! It is equipped with power steering and power brakes. The battery is properly secured and the horns are hooked up. The windshield squirters are also hooked up and it has the correct Buick glass washer fluid bottle. All the hoses and belts were replaced. The radiator was rebuilt and it has a new clutch fan plus an electric fan mounted in front of the radiator to keep it running cool. The firewall is painted body color and the underside of the hood is complete with insulation.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The underside of the trunk lid is painted slick, the sound deadener inserts look new, the latch is new, it has a reproduction jack instructions sticker and a working trunk light. The jamb is also slick and has a new weatherstrip. Inside looks clean and finished with a complete red plaid liner. It is equipped with a 5th matching painted red rim and a reproduction whitewall tire for a spare and the jack assembly is restored.

UNDERSIDE: The body was removed from the frame, the entire chassis was disassembled and restored. All the components were prepped and painted a smooth semi-gloss black. It went back together with completely rebuilt steering and suspension components. The brake system was restored, it has the famous big finned Buick drum brakes. All the lines were replaced, e-brake is hooked up. The dual exhaust was replaced and upgraded with stainless Magnaflow mufflers. Looking up at the motor it's still spotless, the starter was restored. The Dynaflow automatic transmission was also restored. The drive shaft was rebuilt. The floors are rust free metal painted a smooth satin black.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you the best cars within reason.

What a sweetheart! You can just look at this car and easily see it oozes quality. If you were searching for the best Electra anywhere, stop looking and push the "BUY IT NOW" button. Your life just got a lot better!

      <title>1960 Buick Electra</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/buick/electra/1960/listing/225155</link>
<description>1960 Buick Electra 2 Door Hardtop

For consignment, a 1960 Buick Electra 2 door hardtop showing 23,420 miles which are not actual.  This beautiful car has had some mechanical upgrades and new parts.  Its clean exterior is an ornate showpiece and the interior has some special features as well but could use some freshening in several areas.

  Exterior
Amazing body lines give the Buick a part jet/part car profile with more bends, folds, and bulges than the sandstone cliffs of Utah.  The dual headlights appear to grimace with the fender brows leaning earnestly towards the center which keeps its swell all the way to the back of the car where it expands to wrap the round tail lights under canted wings at an even more severe angle and both ends are underscored by relatively straight, horizontal chrome bumpers in fine shape.  The hood and vertical panels wear Chalet Blue paint while the roof and decklid wear white.  Brightwork includes trim that surrounds a stingray type lifted point on the hood, a body length piece on the waistline, amazing window reveals on curved glass, and faux ventiports on the front fenders.  Let's not forget the concave grille, a row of vertical bands of thin metal.  Imperfections include numerous spots of bubbling, scratches, cracking paint, and scuffs on the rocker panel trim.

  Interior
The patina filled interior begins with the door panels where the cloth uppers show particular age along with the metal trim pieces and the vinyl is otherwise decent.  The combo of blue cloth and vinyl continues on the split bench seat where some wear is noted including a few tears in the cloth.  Things are better in the back bench which sports armrests and ashtrays along with dedicated window cranks for the sizable rear glass.  The horn bar of the steering wheel is bright and shiny but the black plastic rim is cracked in multiple spots.  Upfront, the soft blue shelf of the dashboard shows quite a bit of age but our eyes are drawn to the overall design, which is a work of art.  The horizontal speedometer lives under a hood it shares with a round clock while a series of square buttons line up below over a brushed aluminum panel that houses chrome knobs and the AM radio.  The passenger gets a carved cove with a padded dash in front and this one is in good shape.  The blue carpet below looks new, and the headliner will need cleaning or replacement to meet its quality.  The trunk is essentially barren save for the spare tire.

  Drivetrain
Under the hood is a clean 401ci V8 with a 4-barrel carburetor and a Turbine Drive 2-speed automatic transmission sending power to the rear axle and 3.23 gears.  Power drum brakes occupy the front and rear wheels.  Our consignor states the following has been added or upgraded: the brake system including shoes, hoses, master cylinder, and booster, power steering pump, rag joint, starter, and radiator.

  Undercarriage
General patina underneath and typical surface rust is noted but nothing of concern structurally.  The dual exhaust travels through a stock style muffler in back and leaves as two tailpipes under the car.  Suspension here is made up of new coil springs up front and a 3 link with coil springs and panhard bar out back.  The knuckles are spotless, confirming our consignor's claim of the new tie rod sleeves, rebuilt steering box, and front end kit.

  Drive-Ability
Jet-like on the outside but more boat-like on the inside, we're piloting a wide car with canted fins at both ends as we crank the V8 to life and set sail for the test loop.  The long, curvaceous hood floats in front of us while the greenhouse creates limitless visibility reminiscent of an open air experience.  The car pulls along nicely, tracking straight and providing good power from 325 horses under the hood.  The belt on the A/C is not on the engine, so it does not function.  But all other items in the car do as intended and we row this two tone beauty back to port.  While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

This Wildcat 445, (torque), powered car is one for the ages.  If not seen in car shows in decades to come, it surely will be a fixture in museums of functional art because it's a visual masterpiece.  Wow them at any car show you roll up on with furrowed body panels, substantial wings, and jet canopy-like glass.   With a little bit of TLC, this could be upped a few notches in potential trophy procurement, but as is, it's a great find.

"Sadie", as the car has become known for the last 15+ years, has served our consignors well, faithfully transporting them to shows and their daughters and nieces to proms and weddings and has even been leased to movie sets.

  Exterior
Straight steel all bathed in a respray of the original Willow Green paint which presents very nicely. Overall, the paint is well applied with only minor inclusions and cracking of the finish but we do note some color difference on a few of the panels, particularly the driver's door along with some surface rust on the sides. Dramatic crisply peaked fenders and quarter panels are dominant features on this body, strikingly unique among the GM brands, but aiding owners with regards to outermost body locations while driving. Atop the rear quarter panel fins we see a bright stainless trim spear which flows rearward and ends just above the rear bumper and encircles the reverse lights. This thin trim spear also runs forward down the sides at the mid beltline and wraps around the clean and clear glass. Chrome for the bumpers shows some tarnishing and has some patina and rusting on the rear bumpers. Just above in the front is the grille, which is made up of horizontal chrome bar and is flanked by dual headlights on either side. More chrome trim highlights the ample windshield glass and passenger compartment. A tight dark green convertible top is on with no tearing and only minor staining. This top is power actuated and has a plastic rear window which has a light fogging to it. 15-inch turbine style chrome wire wheel covers with Buick badged center hubs are wrapped with thin whitewall 235/75R15's on all 4 corners.

  Interior
Near perfect faux leather pattern Sandalwood vinyl is interplaying with chrome trimming, smooth vinyl and vertically stitched vinyl wrapping around the door panels. A padded Sandalwood armrest runs the full gamut of the center on the doors holding the toggles for the power windows and mirror joystick, and green carpeting covers the lowers. Inside we are met with a sprawling split bench front seat in more clean Sandalwood vinyl. Smooth bolsters with white piping separate them from the wide section tuck and roll inserts. A rear bench is in back in the same pattern with a central chrome dressed speaker and looks nearly unused. In front of the driver and the original steering wheel is a symmetrical dash with a central Buick tri-shield badge, and dark greenish brown for the padded dash top and Sandalwood for the metal painted dash front. A few brushed and ribbed aluminum panels are also here housing the pulls and knobs. The original AM/FM radio resides here as well as the heat/defrost slides just above that appear to have been also used in fighter jets of the era. Like new dark green carpeting floods the floors and compliments the Sandalwood vinyl splendidly.

  Drivetrain
Under the hood is an engine aficionado's dreamland where the Buick engineers have placed a 401ci Nailhead V8. This turquoise painted mill is topped with a 4bbl carburetor, turquoise painted coverings, and a black air cleaner assembly. A 2-speed Dynaflow automatic transmission is on the back, and the rear axle weighs in with a 3.23 ratio. Some age dust and patina grace the engine bay, but things remain corrosion free overall and appear very nicely restored.

  Undercarriage
Clean with an ample application of rustproofing texture coating is seen throughout and even surface rust hasn't dared to rear its head save for the untreated components. All strong and black for the frame, flooring, rockers and suspension with only a light dusting of surface rust where the paint was thinly applied. Independent coil spring suspension up front and a 3 link with coil springs in the rear provides the ride, and the power drum braking brings you back to earth safely. Also, a stock style dual exhaust system is seen snaking its way rearward from the Nailhead under the hood.

  Drive-Ability
Thanks to a stretch of mild late summer weather we dropped the top, donned our shades and off to the test track we went. All was performing just nicely with snappy acceleration, good solid handling, and bias free braking. All seemed to be working during our drive save for the clock not keeping time, and even though it wasn't necessary we took a second lap just to enjoy the smooth Buick ride and soak up some sunshine.

In the middle ground, nestled between Oldsmobile and Cadillac, and often overlooked in favor of a Pontiac. But though often neglected, Buick can be an affordable point of entry into the full-size field of early Sixties cars carrying the Electra badge for several years as the company steered its sculptured creations towards America's growing families. Undeniably stylish and surprisingly sporty, they sold quite well, but have since been overshadowed by the DeVille and Bonneville offerings. This bodes well for collectors on a budget who want to get into a rarely seen GM-built Sixties car, will that collector be you?
