<description>1974 C10 Prerunner / Desert truck. From what I have been told this truck was owned by the Simon &amp; Simon team and this truck was their pre runner before they got picked up by Ford. The truck then sat for years when the previous owner (Kevin 'Largo' Armstrong) bought it from them. Kevin was in the process of painting and rebuilding the truck to be raced in the NORRA vintage class before he passed away in 2019. I picked up this truck about a year ago. It had been sitting as an unfinished project for many years. I was told it was originally built in the 90's and used to run at Glamis. The truck is in excellent shape. It had one small spot of rust on the driver's cab corner that I replaced. It has a new fiberglass hood and fenders and new steel rear quarters and steps. The bed floor was replaced with aluminum to cover and clear the rear suspension and roll bar. I bed lined it to clean it up. The truck runs great! It has a built 400 engine with a Holley 750 and a built 400 automatic. I just has a set of headers and I just had all new exhaust with a set of Flowmasters, which sounds great. I did plugs, wires, radiator, water pump, fuel lines, fuel pump, brakes, serviced the trans, rear end and oil service. New wheels and tires, gauges, leather seats, lights, etc. It would make a fun cruiser, paint or wrap it to promote your business, or it could be setup for the sand or prerun again. <description>This rolling beauty is a full performance custom build short-bed, step-side 1974 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne Restomod. The dark gloss Cinnamon Candy Red paint looks incredible against the chrome bumpers and trim. Its lowered stance sits perfectly on chrome American Racing wheels, giving the truck an aggressive but clean profile. The body and paint are straight, panel gaps are even, shaved drip rails smooth and the weatherstripping and gaskets are in like new condition. The hood and tailgate all shut solidly, the door windows are changed to one piece and the glass shows no signs of damage. Tinted windows and clear upgraded lights and lenses add to the truck's sharp appearance, while the bed features beautiful dark-stained wooden plank flooring. Overall, this C10 is exceptionally well put together.

The attention to detail continues inside the cabin. TMI Interior Suede and vinyl seats and door panels feature red stitching that complements the exterior perfectly. An aftermarket billet chrome steering wheel and Flaming River chrome tilt column greet you as you step inside, followed by a full cluster of Accutronic Intellitronix LED digital gauges laid out in a classic stock-style arrangement. It creates a driver-focused cockpit that feels both modern and nostalgic. An aftermarket Vintage Air climate control panel and retro-style radio handle comfort and entertainment duties. Speakers are mounted in the aftermarket headliner and kick panels, while an Alpine subwoofer sits between the seats for added sound. The dashboard, door jambs, and sill plates are all in excellent condition and finish off the interior nicely.

Under the hood, the engine bay is clean and detailed with painted inner fenders shaved clean firewall. Chrome accents are everywhere, including the master cylinder, alternator, valve covers, and more. Cooling comes from a Ron Davis aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, and a March chrome serpentine belt system supports the massive 509 cubic inch big block V8 with ProMaxx aluminum heads. Topping the engine is a chrome Edelbrock intake paired with FiTech fuel injection. Power is routed through a 4L80e 4-speed automatic transmission with PCS Controller to a stout 12-bolt rear axle fitted with a Moser cover.

The truck rides on powder coated black gloss factory-style lowered suspension with CPP tubular control arms, coil springs, and a sway bar up front, while the rear features leaf springs, shocks, and CalTracs bars. Frame mounted powder coated black drop-down battery box. Chrome 22-inch American Racing wheels are wrapped in 265/30ZR22 front and 285/35R22 rear tires. Wilwood power disc brakes handle stopping duties at all four corners, while Hooker headers feed a dual exhaust with a H-pipe and Turbo mufflers for the perfect muscle-truck sound.
