      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/chevrolet/corvair/1964/listing/251118</link>
<description>1964 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible – Manual | Runs &amp; Drives | Classic Cruiser Up for sale is my 1964 Chevy Corvair Monza Convertible—a fun-to-drive classic that’s full of vintage charm. This is a non-turbo model with a manual transmission, and it’s been a joy to own. I really don’t want to let it go, but life has other plans, and it’s time for someone else to enjoy this unique car. Key Details: Engine: Flat-6, non-turbo Transmission: Manual – shifts well, though 2nd gear pops out occasionally Mileage: 25,000 (TMU) Title: Clean Title Top: Power convertible top works mechanically – needs assistance coming up and canvas replacement Interior: White – fair condition Body: Convertible, 2-door Condition Overview: Runs and drives great – a solid cruiser with lots of personality 2nd gear pops out, a common quirk on older Corvairs Front end had some damage, but I’ve mostly repaired it Convertible top mechanism works, but the canvas needs replacing Interior and exterior are in fair condition overall – not perfect, but very presentable This car has been well-loved and still turns heads. It’s an ideal candidate for a light restoration or just to drive and enjoy as-is. Whether you’re a Corvair enthusiast or just looking for a fun, affordable classic convertible, this Monza has a lot to offer. <title>1965 Chevrolet Corvair</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/chevrolet/corvair/1965/listing/251077</link>
<description>This 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Convertible is a sharp, well-sorted example finished in Emerald Green over a black interior. It has a clean, classic presentation with a great color combination, and the black convertible top gives the car an especially crisp look. Backed by a mechanical restoration, this Corvair offers the kind of driving experience that makes these rear-engine Chevrolets so unique and enjoyable.

Power comes from a 1966-specification replacement powerplant, specifically a 164ci/140hp flat 6-cylinder engine, paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. It is also equipped with a center-mount 4-barrel carburetor, giving the car an added performance-oriented feel while keeping with the fun, sporty character the Corvair is known for.

A number of important service items have already been addressed, including new seals for the transaxle, new hub bearings, new ball joints and universal joints, and new brakes with a split master cylinder. Those updates help make this Corvair a more confidence-inspiring car to drive and enjoy.

The presentation was also improved with a new convertible top installed by Steve Bell of Laytonsville, Maryland, along with new carpets, helping the interior and top area feel fresh and finished. Combined with the attractive exterior color, the result is a Corvair Convertible that shows well and stands apart from the crowd.

If you have been looking for a Corvair Convertible with the right color combination, a 4-speed, strong mechanical attention, and a nicely presented overall look, this 1965 Chevrolet Corvair is a very appealing example.

      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/chevrolet/corvair/1961/listing/250776</link>
<description>1961 Chevrolet Corvair 95 Rampside Pickup DGT0851 VIN. 1R124S130851. Not many of these have survived over the years. This one has been obviously well cared for. This former AZ appliance store delivery truck. White w/ Red striping   Side ramp.   Chrome rally wheels  Chrome bumpers &amp;amp; side mirrors  Chrome bed rails   good looking interior upgraded red and white vinyl interior. Looks like new carpets also. Has seatbelts. Custom steering wheel.  Sunroof. Tachometer. Oil, Amp &amp;amp; Temp gauges 110 Boxer Flat Six  Air-cooled   Engine rebuilt by California Corvair 7k miles ago. They used a 1964 110 HP engine. This was done in 2015. The cost was $6424. We have the receipt. Now has about 7000 miles on the engine rebuild. Automatic powerglide transmission. This terrific Rampside is one very unique ride and you won't see many out there like it in such superb condition. Many have had a hard working life and rusted away in cold weather climates. Don't miss this rare opportunity. The rampside feature and bedrails are still handy for light delivery.  In July 2023 it got four brand new tires. This truck came from Arizona originally that was used for appliance delivery. The California owner bought it from Arizona 10 years ago and brought it to San Diego. We have not found any rust since we bought it and brought it here to Burlington, Washington. There are some blemishes in the paint. It's not show quality as you would expect. It runs and drives really well. One of the main reasons I bought it was that it's a great truck with an automatic transmission.

If you'd like to see a lot more photos about 62 photos and more to come go to our webpage dragers.com If you would like to make the drive to Burlington to see this vehicle I think you'd really enjoy seeing Drager's Clubhouse firsthand We have a lot of interesting things on display besides cars and trucks. We have 25 display cases full of all sorts of amazing things. We have 100 motorcycles on display. Most people tell us we are like a museum.

Call Andrew 206-533-9600 to set up a day and time to come see this vehicle

<description>1964 chevrolet corvair monza A nice, inexpensive way to get into the classic car hobby. And yes, Corvairs didn't come with a vinyl roof. Engine, trans., and clutch are strong. The body panels are rust proofed. Work done within last 3000 miles: Door weatherstripping Heater fan motor and ducts Front and alignment with new idler arm, bushings, and ball joints Shocks - 15% stiffer than stock Brakes Tires Fuel pump Has a sport steering wheel smaller than original, also have the original. Standard hubcaps, and also wire wheel covers (missing two knock-offs). Also had a 3' driver seat extender added for better legroom. The true mileage is unknown. Corvair values have been steadily increasing in recent years. <description>1962 Chevy Corvair Monza Convertible – New Paint, New Tires, Freshly Rebuilt Drivetrain, Highly Documented, Only 72k Miles! 1962 Chevy Corvair Monza Convertible – The Chevrolet Corvair is a compact car manufactured by Chevrolet for model years 1960–1969 across two generations. As the only American-designed, mass-produced passenger car with a rear-mounted, air-cooled engine, the Corvair was manufactured and marketed in two-door coupe, convertible, four-door sedan, four-door station wagon, passenger van, commercial van, and pickup truck body styles in its first generation (1960–1964) as well as two-door coupe, convertible and four-door sedan in its second generation (1965–1969). In 1962, Chevrolet introduced the Corvairs with few changes at the beginning of the year. The bottom line 500 series station wagon was dropped and the 700 became the base station wagon. The “Lakewood” name was dropped. The ever-popular Monza line then took on a wagon model to round out the top of the line. In spring of 1962, Chevrolet committed itself to the sporty image they had created for the Corvair by introducing a convertible version. This first year convertible is really a great, low-mileage example. It spent most of its life in Georgia and most of its 57 year history is known. After being stored and never driven once between 1974-1989 it was purchased by the 2nd owner. He drove it periodically and decided to complete a restoration in 2004. Photo documentation of this first restoration accompany this sale. The seller also provided us with a large stack of documentation including GA registration history, period literature, original dealer badge, and several receipts. When we received the Corvair this year it had just enough wear that we decided to complete a second restoration. Our first step was to leave the Corvair with a local expert who did a complete rebuild of the drivetrain. We then did a complete repaint in the original Antique White. The final addition was a brand new set of 1</description>

      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/chevrolet/corvair/1964/listing/237753</link>
<description>Original Parts Group promotion car! Right out of OPG's private collection. This was used by OPG to represent their new line of Corvair parts. It was debuted at 2018 SEMA in OPG's booth. It has been in numerous videos, pictures etc. Complete restoration down to a bare tub by Original Parts Group. In addition to several OPG parts the car came with a pallet of New Old Stock part still in GM packaging

EXTERIOR: Refinished right back to factory condition. No, it's better! The body was professionally restored and is straight with excellent fit. Repainted Goldwood Yellow with a smooth and glossy finish. All the trim, emblems, bumpers, handles were replaced. I especially liked the emblem on the trunk lid! New windshield and weatherstrips. The black power top was completely restored. It is correctly restored right down to the reproduction tires and deluxe hubcaps.

INTERIOR: Completely restored to factory condition. OPG upholstery, door panels, dash pad, handles, carpet, armrests, visors etc. It is decked out with a 2 spoke deluxe wheel and seatbelts, yes seatbelts were still optional in '64. It also has a great looking dash that has the optional gauges including a tachometer. That's a nice feature to go along with the factory 4-speed on the floor.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The Corvair is very unique throughout including being a rear engine car. It has the optional 6 cylinder with a turbo charger making 150hp! The motor and all of its components were rebuilt or replaced. The turbo cars are dressed up with a chrome air cleaner too. It is a detailed engine bay. They even spent the money on a 5th reproduction spare along with a restored rim, and original locking mechanism.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: So, the trunk is in the front and under the lid and the jamb are painted slick like the car. Inside is clean metal with a neat spatter finish. It is complete with mat, washers, jack and master cylinder. The reproduction battery is included but it wasn't very reliable, we installed a new battery.

UNDERSIDE: Completely restored, it was taken down bare. Now it has clean metal painted black. It has independent suspension front and rear! The steering and suspension were completely rebuilt. The entire brake system was rebuilt. The fuel system and the exhaust were replaced. Looking up at the motor and trans, they are clean.

SERVICE: Our shop did a thorough inspection to make it road ready. We replaced the head gaskets, gave it an oil change, replaced courtesy bulbs, fixed temp gauge and radio, tightened the steering components, set the timing, and replaced the fuel pump. It's ready to drive!

CONCLUSION: This is an opportunity to buy a Corvair that would cost double then what we are asking to restore! OPG spared no expense, now the car has a great story to tell. Try a Corvair, it's a cool and unique car!

Vehicles are displayed in a museum setting. Admission applies without an appointment and is refunded with purchase, including a one-year museum membership.

      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/chevrolet/corvair/1963/listing/231077</link>
<description>Air-cooled engineering meets compact design in this 1963 Chevrolet Corvair Monza, finished in Silver Blue paint that reflects Chevrolet's bold approach to alternative powerplant placement. Four doors provide access while maintaining the Corvair's distinctive profile, with 13" wheels supporting 185/70R13 tires at all four corners. The single exhaust system exits cleanly, and the repainted exterior shows the attention given to refresh this unique General Motors design that dared to be different from Detroit's conventional offerings.

Blue vinyl interior creates a coordinated environment with the exterior finish, featuring bench seating that accommodates passengers in period-correct comfort. The dash-mounted shifter controls the Powerglide transmission while the AM radio provides entertainment. Power brakes assist stopping duties, and seatbelts add safety considerations. The vinyl surfaces and interior trim maintain the factory aesthetic that made these Corvairs popular with buyers seeking something beyond the ordinary sedan configuration.

The rear-mounted 164 cubic inch flat-six engine provides the power through a 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. Coil spring suspension with shocks handles both front and rear duties, while drum brakes at all four wheels provide stopping capability with power assist. The single exhaust system features an aftermarket muffler, and the air-cooled engine design eliminates the need for a traditional cooling system. The 12-volt electrical system powers the AM radio and other components.

  HIGHLIGHTS:

  • 164 CI Flat-Six Engine
 • 2 Speed Powerglide Automatic Transmission
 • Coil Spring Suspension Front And Rear
 • Drum Brakes With Power Assist
 • Single Exhaust With Aftermarket Muffler
 • Silver Blue Paint

      <title>1965 Chevrolet Corvair</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/chevrolet/corvair/1965/listing/230563</link>
      <description>1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible

For consignment, a Corvair Monza Convertible from 1965 sporting 82,199 non actual miles. This was the first year for the Fisher Z body and it addressed the Nader false accusation of the suspension being unsafe with a rear suspension that now resembled the Corvette. Our consignor has added a new wiring harness, new alternator, and new front seat upholstery, all in 2024.

  Exterior
Matador Red in respray form covers the metal and overall exterior of the car and presents in very good condition. The fit and finish is good, the body is straight, and all is in working order. Chrome is in great condition. A newer black canvas convertible top is manually actuated up and down and works smoothly. Seen is a thin stainless trimming on the rocker and wheel houses and wide stainless making up the bezels for the dual headlights. Round taillights are bringing up the rear and these have backup lights optioned on and are right behind the engine. There is another nice bumper below. 13-inch wire wheel covers are on with knock off style hubs with dish centers and P185/80R13 tires, which is an add on option for the year. Corvair badging is original and correct. Nice exterior. Screw Ralph Nader I'm hopping in.

  Interior
A swing of the sporty doors and we are greeted with a black painted metal surround for the door sills, then this changes to a horizontal stitched center panel. Here the armrest in black vinyl with a chrome trimming and chromed knobs and actuator lever are housed along with a Monza emblem. Very midcentury modern if I must say so myself. Slipping inside I rest my buttocks on wide buckets that practically take up the whole front row. These are recently recovered, nicely padded and have turks and roll inserts and smooth bolsters all in wonderful black! In back a nice bench and plenty of romper room for that 3rd date. Up front a large deluxe black rimmed steering wheel with a half horn ring and badged center fronts the original perfectly preserved dash. This has a black dual eyebrow shaped cowl design for the top and nice use of aluminum for the dash front panels, which include the instrument cluster and glove box covering. Some of the controls and options include the padded dash top, tinted windows seat belts, two speed wipers and a convenience group. The centrally mounted AM/FM/Cassette radio is also in a chrome bezel and looks right at home. The rear view mirror is a tilt inside glare style new for this year. Awesome conveniences and add ons, rarely seen on an early version of the Corvair. Black carpeting is flooding the floor and go with this car like a duck to water. \

  Drivetrain
A lift of the trunk and we see a lightly patinaed engine bay with a very clean 164 ci flat 6 cylinder engine. It has dual 1-barrel carburetors on top, and a 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission attached to this horizontally opposed air cooled configuration. A 3.27 gear ratio is on the Corvair.

  Undercarriage
As I expected from this car, buttoned up and looking good with all straight steel painted black with light surface rusting. Definitely a ground effects type undercarriage, whether it's intentional or not it still looks great...look ma no driveshaft! Everything presents well right down to the 4 wheel independent coil sprung suspension, and 4 wheel drum braking. A chrome tipped dual exhaust is noted.

  Drive-Ability
This car started right up, and after a short warmup, ran great. Nice handling, a good ride, and shifting was effortless. All functions worked as designed with the exception of the wipers not wiping when prompted. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

If you are in the market for a car that was truly groundbreaking for its time, then this beautiful bowtie version of the Corvair is the car for you. It's a sleeper and it's a Monza convertible, and it's a magnetic eye catcher in the wonderful condition it is in. Hurry in down to our Hallowed Halls as this one is going to get snapped up as there is an aficionado waiting in the wings.

      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/chevrolet/corvair/1963/listing/222772</link>
      <description>1963 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible

This Monza Corvair has a higher performance engine, which means it is a mid-performance model.  The overall car is showing in very good condition with 84,828 title verified actual miles, mechanically sound, and true to the 1963 model.  A repainted exterior in white from a few years ago is in good condition, no rust or denting.   This is a highly optioned model, and it's a convertible with a new top and a rebuilt engine with less than 100 miles on it along with the addition of fuel injection.  I'm in rear engine heaven.  Peabody set the way back machine for 1963 'n let's go.

  Exterior
White covers the metal and overall exterior of the car and presents in very good condition.  Fit and finish is good, body is straight, and all is in working order.  Chrome is in great condition.  A new white canvas convertible top is power up and down and works smoothly.  Seen is a wide stainless trimming on the rocker and dual headlights.  Round taillights are bringing up the rear and these have backup lights optioned on, and are right behind the engine.  There is another nice bumper below.  13-inch wire wheel covers are on with knock off style hubs with dish centers and P175/80R13 tires, which is an add on option for the year.  Corvair badging is original and correct.  Nice exterior.  Screw Ralph Nader I'm hopping in.

  Interior
A swing of the sporty doors and we are greeted with a red painted metal surround for the door sills, then this then changes to a horizontal brick embossed center panel.  Here the armrest in red vinyl with a chrome trimming and chromed knobs and actuator lever are housed.  Below is another panel delineated by a thin chrome trimming and this panel sports thin horizontal ribs.  Very mid century modern if I must say so myself.  Slipping inside I rest my buttocks on wide buckets that practically take up the whole front row.  These are nicely padded and have turks and roll inserts and smooth bolsters all in wonderful RED!  More brick pattern for the seat tops and throw in a few horizontal chromed buttons to keep things interesting.  In back a nice bench and plenty of romper room for that 3rd date.  Up front a large deluxe optioned red rimmed steering wheel with a half horn ring and badged center fronts the original perfectly preserved dash.  This has a red dual eyebrow shaped cowl design for the top and nice use of aluminum for the dash front panels, which include the instrument cluster and glove box covering.  Some of the controls and options include the padded dash top, tinted windows seat belts, two speed wipers and a windshield washer.  The centrally mounted factory radio is also in an aluminum panel and is a super deluxe radio.  The rear-view mirror is a tilt inside glare style new for this year.  There is also a glove box light and a courtesy light, and a centrally located and dash top mounted clock. Awesome conveniences and add ons, rarely seen on an early version of the Corvair.  Red carpeting is flooding the floor and normally I'd object, but even the plastic clear floor mats are classic and go with this car like a duck to water.  LUV It!

  Drivetrain
With this very nice example, (one of the BEST I've seen here at my tenure at Classic Auto Mall and that's saying something as I'm the 4th longest running employee!), anyway I digress, and within the pristine white painted engine bay is the 145ci horizontally opposed 6-cylinder which was recently rebuilt.  It is fed by dual 1-barrel EFI units and has a 2-speed Powerglide tranny on back.  The rear axle is a 3.89 Posi type.  Just a beautifully restored/preserved engine bay and a pristine spare is residing there as well.

  Undercarriage
As I expected from this car, no rust, no leaks and all straight steel painted black.  Definitely a ground effects type undercarriage, whether it's intentional or not it still looks great...look ma no driveshaft!  Everything presents as showroom right down to the 4-wheel independent coil sprung suspension, and 4-wheel drum braking.  A like new stock style exhaust is noted.

  Drive-Ability
I love these cars, the problem is so many we have are such a mess, it's a disappointment.  Although this one is an eye catcher and a welcome change.  All working, with high end options, it ran like a champ, handled like it was on rails, and had bias free panic stopping.  The top went up and down with plenty of power and did so very quickly.  A great experience made me feel like it was 1963 all over again. Thx Peabody!

      <title>1966 Chevrolet Corvair</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/chevrolet/corvair/1966/listing/215947</link>
      <description>Unique GM History-

The original Corvair was introduced by GM in 1960 as a 'sporty compact. It was the most unique car GM had ever put into production. There were a 2-door coupe and 4-door sedan, both with air-cooled flat-6 engines mounted in the rear and backed by either a 2-speed automatic or 3-4 speed manual rear transaxle. In 1965, GM introduced the Gen2 Corvair - much more stylish and comfortable.

  Original No Frills-

This '66 Corvair coupe is an outstanding, original example of the base no-frills Corvair 500 model. The factory Willow Green finish is still in overall good condition; however, there are a few blemishes in the paint. Factory 13" steel wheels have factory dog-dish hubcaps and mount nice Maxxis radial tires. Chrome and stainless are excellent.

  One Option-

The fawn tan vinyl interior is in good condition. The basic 500 package included all-rubber floor mats, and this car was also radio delete. The Corvair is equipped with seat belts, an option in '65.

  Flat Six Power-

Power is furnished by an air-cooled 164ci flat-six that was built with a steel crank, alloy cylinders and aluminum heads. It is equipped with an oil cooler and was rated at 95hp/155lb-ft. The engine is said to have never been rebuilt and it sounds strong. The Corvair is equipped with the 3-speed all-synchro manual transaxle, manual steering and manual drum brakes.

  Major Service Done-

Recent major service has been performed on steering components, the brake system (including dual master) and the shifter mechanism.

This Corvair is a piece of GM history taken from the dynamic era of American 'compact cars' - the '60s.

      <title>1968 Chevrolet Corvair</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/chevrolet/corvair/1968/listing/215686</link>
      <description>1968 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible

Until the 1950s, most American auto manufacturers made one size of car: large.  Imports from Europe such as Volkswagen, Renault, and Fiat showed that there was a market in the U.S. for smaller cars, mostly as a second car or an alternative for the budget-minded.  Led by General Manager Edward N. Cole, Chevrolet designed a revolutionary new car.  It was powered by an air-cooled horizontal six-cylinder engine made almost entirely out of aluminum.  The engine was mounted in the rear of the car, driving the rear wheels through a compact automatic transaxle.  Suspension was independent at all four wheels.  There was no conventional frame; it was the first unibody built by Fisher Body and the styling was unconventional for Detroit, subtle and elegant, with no tail fins or chrome grille.

This Monza Corvair is a consignor described project car that will need some work and TLC to be restored.  It has a 164ci flat 6 cylinder engine which does start and run thanks to having had some work done to it.  Other parts come with the car. There are plenty of areas of invasive rust, rust bubbling and surface rust throughout this exterior of the car.  The interior is in a beginning state of restoration and will also require plenty of attention, only after structural unibody issues are thoroughly addressed.

  Exterior
A previous respray of Butternut Yellow drapes the exterior of this sporty air cooled car.  There are many areas of scratching, chipping and a few dents and dings, and plenty of invasive rust throughout.  Chrome is fair with loss of shine and dimpling creeping in.  A black padded canvas convertible top moves up and down, however has some wear, particularly along the cloudy plastic window surround areas.  Shiny chrome wire wheel covers with spinners are wrapped in black wall tires. There are 4 new whitewall tires to be included with the car.

  Interior
Looking good for the door panels, and front buckets and rear bench.  These look to have been completed, and show as originals once did.  The floors have plenty of surface rust and no carpeting.  The dash is in a state of initial wiring with no gauges hooked up at this time. The board with the gauges is included.  A rally steering wheel is attached.

  Drivetrain
This car came with a 164ci flat 6 cylinder and it is not known if this one is original to this car.  The consigner states this is a 1967 140hp engine, non smog, with headers. A 2-speed Powerglide automatic is bolted to the mill and a 3.55 geared axle puts the power to the pavement.

  Undercarriage
The unibody and undercarriage has many areas of surface rust, and the rockers are suffering from structural damage particularly near and around the wheel wells.  All independent coil spring suspension is on, and drum braking is for all the corners.

  Drive-Ability
While the car does start, run and drive, plenty of interior work is needed to actually drive it safely.  No test drive was administered, but our consignor did drive the car around our vast parking lot a few times to demonstrate it's abilities.

Innovative for its time, rear engine, unibody construction, smaller more compact car, and the Monza upgrade, wheel this car in your garage and start the work.  When it rolls out you'll be the proud owner of a classic like none other of its time.

      <description>1964 Chevrolet  Corvair Rampside Pickup

Yes kids Corvair did indeed offer a pickup and here we have a fantastic example in a 1964 Rampside pickup.  A rear air cooled engine, a fold down side panel forming a ramp to the bed on the passenger's side, and real mid 60 Ermine white with Ember Red paint scheme and an original restored interior, we are off to the Ralph Nader races!  And all in low low mileage, 19,913 original title verified miles to be exact.

  Exterior
At first glance this pickup would appear to be a cab over, or cab forward design with the flat front and bog panoramic glass resting above the central grille and dual horizontal headlights in the oval bezel.  But ALAS that engine, it's in the back.  This flat front is painted mostly in Ermine White with the grille and headlights surrounded by Ember Red which has a thin pinstripe on either edge.  This thins out a bit, and as it wraps around the sides it goes through the doors and bedsides, just about mid truck.  The paint is chipped in a few areas and has been applied thick and the gaps are nicely minded and large mirrors rehanging off of either side.  The bed is nice and long, all steel and has some storage boxes also in steel showing on either wheel rear wheel well.  The bed is painted Ermine White and looks good.  On the passenger's side is a fold down ramp that allows access to the bed for a lawn tractor or whatever needs a bit of a push to get on the ramp then on to the bed.  The back of the truck has the arrowhead pointed outward tail lights all in the red striping, and a shiny bumper below.  Ember Red 14-inch steel wheels have a central chromed moon cap with a bowtie badge and are wrapped in thin whites from 1990.

  Interior
A swing of the wheel well notched doors shows us some gold painted steel panels for the edges, uppers and lowers.  In the center is a white painted steel panel, which houses the actuator, and cranks as well as a red and white vinyl covered small armrest.  As we move inside, a long bench stretches from door to door, and has neat mid 60's zig zag pattern broadcloth inserts in shades of green and brown with the seat uppers and bolsters are in red vinyl.  There is also a delineating stripe in white between the broadcloth and vinyl and its in vinyl as well.  A factory white steering wheel fronts the dash, and this dash has a dual oval design with the instrument cluster in aluminum and horizontal speedo and flanking knobs and pulls and turn signal indicators.  Just right of center is the climate control sliders and where the keys hang the gold is scratched off.  In the dash center is the ash receptacle and a box housing the Delco bowtie badged AM radio.  In front of the passenger is a corresponding to the instrument oval glovebox door in brushed aluminum.  Rubber flooring covers the floors and is nearly perfect.  A long shifter reached for the driver, and looking above we see a steel framed headliner with an insert with some perforations in melamine board painted gold as well.

  Drivetrain
Unbolting the rear bed floor panel we have the Corvair air cooled 164ci flat 6 cylinder engine which puts out 95hp.  There is a single 2-barrel carburetor on top and a 4-speed manual transmission on back.  The rear axle is a 3.55 version.

  Undercarriage
Up on the lift is an unrestored undercarriage which shows some patina with the black paint and a bit of surface rust peppering the surfaces under here.  The exhaust pipe and muffler has heavier surface rust.  Most of the undercarriage framing is covered in steel panels painted black showing some wear and plenty of small factory drilled divots.  Independent coil springs for the front, and independent swing axle with trailing arms and torsion bars are on for the back to hold extra weight.  Drum brakes are on all 4 corners.

  Drive-Ability
In true Corvair for this car started right up and purred on the idle.  The test track was not a match for this nifty truck and handling was good.  The truck pulls to the right when braking though but otherwise all functions were working swimmingly.

A neat example of a not oft seen Corvair truck in pickup side ramp form.  The paint is mostly good and the interior looks the 60's part.  All steel and rust free on the bodywork, and a smooth running air cooled engine.  Ralph Nader can kiss my ass!
