Handcrafted by Anton's Hot Rod Shop to high show-quality standards and completed in late 2024. It was featured in the Summer 2025 issue of Chevy Hub Magazine. The vision of this restomod was to retain its '60s heritage in appearance and the attention to detail is evident throughout. The straight body with precise gap lines was finished in PPG Silver Pearl Metallic. The stinger hood was decorated in black with 427 and cross-flags badging. It's equipped with a matching hardtop which gives it a distinctive look. The notable changes that set it apart from others are the functional custom stainless steel side vents and center exhaust outlets. It was outfitted with all new tinted glass and trim pieces throughout. It has a killer stance on custom Forgeline HL3X 3-piece forged aluminum wheels that pay tribute to the classic Halibrand wheels. The 18x9.5 front wheels and 18x11.5 rear wheels are mounted to Nitto 555 G2 high-performance tires. The rear end was mini tubbed to accommodate the massive rear tires. Swen Tight Custom Interiors performed the upholstery work, spreading the peanut butter color from stem to stern. The hardtop headliner trim, dash padding, custom kicker panels, custom door panels, factory C2 bucket seats, rear panels and tubs were wrapped in high-grade leather. Some interior features include Dakota Digital RTX gauges, Flaming River tilt steering column, 3-spoke wood steering wheel, Vintage Air conditioning, Nu-Relics power windows and tan California weave carpeting. The sound system includes a Retro Sound Radio, Focal amplifier/speakers, MTX subwoofer and power antenna. The pristine engine compartment is home to the Katech Engineering professionally built 416ci LS3 that is pushing some serious horsepower. It's based on an aluminum LS3 block that was fitted with a Callies Performance Products Dragon Slayer crankshaft, Callies Ultra forged H-beam connecting rods, Mahle DLC coated pistons, Katech CNC-ported GM LS3 cylinder heads and hydraulic-roller camshaft. Complementing the LS3 intake manifold is a fabricated stainless steel 4” cold air system that is attached to the removable side vent. The engine was dressed with Katech Performance red valve covers and a CVF serpentine system including the power steering system. The engine breathes through fabricated stainless headers and dual exhaust system with Stainless Bros. polished mufflers and resonators. The engine is cooled by a DeWitt's aluminum radiator with dual SPAL electric fans. The engine is coupled to a Gearstar Performance 4L65E 4-speed automatic transmission and 2600-2800 stall converter. The power is transferred to the GM 5th generation Camaro SS limited slip rear end with IRS drive axles and 3.73 gears. The body sits on a new Roadster Shop SPEC 7 Chassis that was powder coated black. The floors were refinished in black textured paint for durability. The chassis was ordered with power rack and pinion steering, Tanks stainless fuel tank, C7 Corvette independent front suspension and rear suspension, C7 aluminum control arms, Fox billet coilovers, Baer 14” four wheel disc brakes with 6-piston red calipers and drilled rotors. It's also equipped with a power E-STOPP emergency braking system. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood, this Corvette captures the look of a factory 427 Tri-Power while hiding a much more potent surprise. Power comes from a GM Performance ZZ502 crate engine producing 502 horsepower, delivering big block performance with modern reliability. It has roller cam and rockers, rectangular port heads shaved down .030" mated to a GM aluminum intake with Holley Tri-Power carbs on top. It's dressed with correct style valve covers, air cleaner, and even reproduction spark plug wires. A set of coated headers feeds the factory style side exhaust, adding both performance and the unmistakable big-block sound. The attention to detail is outstanding. Every component in the engine compartment looks fresh and new. It features power steering and power brakes, while the alternator, wiring, pulleys, and brackets have all been restored or replaced. The cooling system has a factory correct appearance with the proper fan shroud, clutch fan, radiator cap, reproduction hoses and clamps. UNDERSIDE: This Corvette received a body off frame restoration, and the attention to detail underneath is outstanding. Every nut, bolt, fastener, and clip has been restored or replaced, giving it a new show quality appearance. The chassis is painted smooth semi gloss black, while the raw fiberglass floor pans are spotless. It even retains the factory spare tire carrier. The suspension has been completely rebuilt and upgraded for exceptional handling. Up front are QA1 adjustable coilover shocks, polyurethane bushings, a heavy duty sway bar, and a Borgeson power steering box. In the rear, it features offset trailing arms, QA1 coilovers, Smart Struts, a heavy duty camber rod kit, a sway bar, and an anti twist differential crossmember mount for improved stability. The entire 4 wheel brake system has been replaced- every brake line, hose, caliper and e-brake assembly looks brand new. The fuel system has also been completely replaced. If you want to make some serious noise, it has 3-inch electric exhaust cutouts right off the headers. Looking up at the engine, you'll find a Milodon low profile oil pan with a high volume oil pump inside and a high torque starter. Power is sent through a Tremec TKO 600 five-speed manual transmission with a Centerforce Dual-Friction 11-inch clutch to a 3.70 Posi rear end equipped with heavy duty yokes, an aluminum girdle cover, and lightweight 3-inch aluminum half shafts.
