      <title>1970 Chevrolet Nova</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/chevrolet/nova/1970/listing/237819</link>
<description>INTRODUCTION: The sleeper awakes! Numbers match on the engine, transmission, rear end, and more. Amazingly preserved! Meticulous body off frame restoration utilizing many of the original parts. Wonderfully documented with the original broadcast sheet and NCRS shipping report. Now is no time for a nap, the car in your dreams is here!

EXTERIOR: Amazing original colors! Factory code 75 Cranberry Red paint. After you're finished gawking at the mirror finish, take a good look at that stance, she sits pretty and perfect. Rolling on body color steel rims with poverty hubcaps wrapped in reproduction Firestone Wide Oval radial tires. Looking down the side of the laser straight body is pure bliss with all its smooth contours and crisp lines. All the body panels have been painstakingly aligned with good gaps that are well above average. It looks like some of the glass was replaced, as were the fuzzy strips and rubber seals too. The chrome hood louvers, fender mounted fish gills and 396 emblems hint that this is not your typical Nova. SS badging proudly adorns the front grill and tail panel. The bumpers have been rechromed and the remaining bright work all has a lustrous shine.

INTERIOR: Black and beautiful! This is the way it came from the factory so it's really difficult to tell what's original and what has been refurbished but nonetheless it's an fantastic condition. The dash pad is not cracked, the headliner is tight as a drum, the carpeting was replaced, and the SS steering wheel refurbished. The sun visors and door panels both look to be original as do the climate control and radio. The front bench seat has great vinyl that could very possibly be original but still in excellent condition, and the same goes for the rear seat and seat belts too. And of course the crown jewel is that Hurst 4 speed shifter sitting front and center. The dome light is working. This interior is just as well preserved and restored as the rest of the car.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The toughest block on the block! The legendary high performance L-78, #'s matching optional 375 horsepower 396 cubic inch engine with 11:1 compression ratio and heavy duty internal components. Original and correct square port heads, carburetor and intake manifold with Winters foundry "snowflake" casting. The distributor, brake booster, alternator, water pump, and many other components are also stamped with the correct numbers dating the parts as original. Stock looking cast iron exhaust manifolds flank the sides and also have the correct casting numbers. Power steering and power brakes are much appreciated options. The battery is properly secured plus the squirters and horns are hooked up. Thankfully the original cowl tag is still in place. The underside of the hood is painted satin black and complete with insulation. The fenderwells and firewall are also neatly painted satin black.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The underside of the trunk lid and inside the jamb are painted Cranberry Red just like the exterior, with a shiny finish. The weather strip was replaced and reproduction jack stickers were added. It is equipped with a full size spare tire and jack assembly. The floor pan is all solid rust free metal with a neatly applied spatter finish paint.

UNDERSIDE: Body off frame restored! The steering system has been completely gone through and works fantastic. The front suspension also looks great with new springs and shocks too. Out back is a leaf spring suspension with fresh shocks. It is equipped with front power disc and rear drum brakes plus the emergency brake is hooked up. The exhaust system has been replaced from the manifolds back with new tubes and transverse muffler. All the fuel lines were replaced. Looking up at the original #'s matching engine you will see bright Chevy orange paint. The #'s matching Muncie M20 wide ratio 4 speed manual transmission that was only available with the SS option and appears to have been recently serviced. The drive shaft was rebuilt and transfers power to the original #'s matching 12 bolt posi rear end with 3.55 gearing. The floors are solid and rust free with nice satin black paint.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell.

CONCLUSION: The ultimate sleeper! If you're into originality, don't think twice because this is the one. The numbers have been pictured and listed for your inspection. Undoubtedly investment grade. The car that woke up swinging!

<description>1970 Chevrolet Nova 2 Door Sedan

For consignment, a 1970 Chevrolet Nova 2 door sedan showing 44,098 miles, but the true miles are unknown. Take a close look, this is not your Aunt Gertrude's two door Nova. This one's been modified with some go fast goodies and is ready to play.

Note: This vehicle is sold with a Pennsylvania reconstructed branding on the title

  Exterior
At first glance, this is a Nova with intent, gleaming 15-inch Centerlines providing the first clue and staggered size tires creating a nose down stance that can only mean one thing. Autumn Gold paint is what this car was born with and still wears, now augmented by black fender vents, black side trim, and sport hood louvers. The Nova tail is fairly mundane with simple tail lights and a ribbed center panel over a wide, chrome bumper. The front presents in a pedestrian way too, until you turn up the heat, which this car does with its stance and old school traction bars that thrust forward from the rear wheels for all to see. Imperfections include some bubbling, evidence of filler, paint run, chips, and a ding on the passenger's fender.

  Interior
Standard black door panels are in nice shape with a tear on the driver's armrest and open up to tall bucket seats, in black textured vinyl up front and clean coverage on the bench in the back. A basic steering wheel shares some column space with an AutoMeter tachometer and shift light, all in front of Chevy's standard horizontal speedometer and dash, showing a touch of age. A triple pack of gauges has been added underneath just ahead of the shifter on the transmission hump over black loop carpet, MSD ignition in the passenger footwell, and a clean black headliner up above. Our trunk is barren and clean.

  Drivetrain
Raising the hood gives you a mirrored view of the engine below, and it's a good looking powerplant with lots of polished parts. Here we have a 400ci V8, destroked with a 350 crank, and harboring Keith Black 10-1 compression pistons, an Erson roller cam, and Scat rods as well as Dart 200cc aluminum heads. It's mated to a Muncie M20 4-speed manual transmission routed power to 10 bolt rear with 3.73 gears. Headers cling to this clean engine and take burnt fuel away.

  Undercarriage
Some old school rodding begins with a chrome differential cover, and if you grew up in the 80's and had a GM car, your diff better shine. We also note a driveshaft loop on the relatively clean underside, and a drop or two of fluid on the pans. The dual exhaust continues through FlowMaster mufflers and terminates out of sight behind the rear fenders. Disc brakes are up front and drums out back and the car is equipped with line lock. Suspension is your standard coil springs in front and leaf springs with those added traction bars out back. The tires on board have a date code of early 2024.

  Drive-Ability
Comfortable seats and a nose down attitude coupled with a ball topped fun stick makes this car fun to drive even before we crank the 400 to life. When we do, a very nice exhaust note echoes through the mall and we roll this golden Nova around the loop where it provides good power, straight tracking, and good grip. Things we note as not currently working include the speedometer, odometer, reverse lights, right turn signals, and heater blower. All other functions, including the ever important tachometer, work as they should. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

You love Novas. You like going fast. You remember souping up cars in the 80's similar to this. Well, it's time to go for the gold and take this sweet ride home to haunt the red lights of your town, legally of course, and break in these newer tires and stout build!

      <description>1970 Chevrolet Nova SS Tribute

For consignment, a 1970 Chevrolet Nova SS tribute with a title verified 129,932 actual miles. This one is packing a 383 stroker V8, a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, and comes to you with a stack of receipts documented the build and work.

 Exterior
While the SS became a performance model, it still sports some cosmetic cues that mere mortal Novas were not privy to. This includes of course SS badging on the grille and tail trim, engine cubes expressed on the fenders, hood louvers, and fender vents. Panels gaps here are well minded here on a body that wears two stage Cranberry Red paint that flows over the top and slopes back around a flat rear window. Single headlights and smaller rectangular tail lights suited the pedestrian version well and helped this SS tribute achieve a sleeper status as the car borrows its overall profile from the normal commuter versions. 15-inch Magnum 500 wheels add a justified sportiness to the car which otherwise would have hubcaps, and staggered sized tires create a slight rake to the stance. The paint and brightwork are in fine condition with imperfections noted that include cracking paint and a scuff on the rocker panel trim.

  Interior
Black vinyl door cards cleanly present with a band of woodgrain trim across the top and stitch patterned inserts and both are clean and intact. Weaved pattern center strips highlight the tall black vinyl front bucket seats, also in great condition and repeated on the back bench. A sport steering wheel now shares the column with the tachometer, water, and oil gauges, all leading to a decidedly horizontal gauge cluster in which the 120 mph speedometer, mostly blocked, all behind a plexiglass cover. An AM/FM radio is in place under vent levers, and four square gauges present in the center console, and an EFI screen now occupies the ashtray compartment. A Hurst shifter rises from the center over black clean black carpet and under a slightly blemished headliner. The trunk presents cleanly and houses a spare and jack.

  Drivetrain
Things get serious under the hood as the clean parade continues, and maybe even crescendos! Here we have a 383ci stroker V8 with aluminum heads, Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection, and headers, and it's all spotless. It's mated to a Tremec TR3550 5-speed manual transmission that routes power to the Ford 9" Moser axle in back with 3.70 gears and Positraction.

  Undercarriage
Things are buttoned up and clean under here with not enough surface rust to mention and no errant fluids anywhere. The dual exhaust runs through FlowMaster mufflers and dump under the car and Wilwoods are employed on the four wheel disc brakes. Suspension is now stout with coil springs up front, and Calvert split leaf springs and relocated rear shocks along with Caltrac bars out back.

  Drive-Ability
This baby roars to life and grabs the ground as we circle the test loop. There's obvious power under foot and this car spins the tires when you decide to go deep with the throttle. It handles well, tracks straight, and stops when asked. The factory tachometer and console gauges are not working, but all other functions operate on this quick starter as they should. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

Once again, we encourage you to put your money down on red, because like the spinning ball of a roulette wheel, this won't be in one place very long! Nova nation is an enthusiastic one and snatches up nice builds like this all day long. So step up for this well executed muscle car that checks all the right boxes!

      <title>1970 Chevrolet Nova</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/chevrolet/nova/1970/listing/202763</link>
<description>Here is one of the nicest 1970 Nova's that you will ever see. This beauty is power by a 5.7 Liter LS engine with headers and nice sounding dual exhaust. Sounds good but not too loud. Just the right rumble. It has an Aluminum Radiator with electric fan to keep it running cool. It has 2 Spectrum cold air intakes along with Vintage A/C, power steering and power disc brakes and Serpentine belt system. The overdrive transmission shifts out smooth. The black paint is absolutely as slick as glass. At least a $15k paint job on it and the car is straight as an arrow. Totally rust free. The bumpers are perfect as is all the chrome trim. It has Red Line tires that look pops on this car and are new. It has the SS wheels. The beige or off white interior is perfect with bucket seats and center console with a small Lokar shifter. It has tilt steering. The door panels match the seats with black headliner, carpet and dash. The trunk area looks great and no rust. All the floor pans look great as well as the rest of the under body. This is a car that would be perfect for the Hot Rod Power Tour or to just drive across country. It is that kind of car. It drives and handles amazing. Super Sharp and Ready To Go!!</description>
