Interior need cleaned the seats look good under the covers from what I see but will need cleaned. Good carpet, dash, and headliner. I believe it's the first year for power steering and brakes on the New Yorker. Solid trunk and floors. Good car for Coffee and Cars or cruise nights. <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/chrysler/new_yorker/1954/listing/249826</link>
<description>1954 Chrysler New Yorker Deluxe Convertible is in very good condition. This car has had approximately 3 owners. In the recent years it has had a restoration that includes re-paint, re-chroming, re-done leather interior and a new black top. (the power top cylinders and switches still need replaced.) The excellent wire wheels are sporting new 235 x 75 x 15 white wall tires. I’ve have not seen any indication of any rust on this car. There are approximately 750 of these convertibles ever produced. The body tag code is 15 554 1663. It has a clean current title. The “glistening straight chrome” is strikingly beautiful against the bright red shiny paint. The recent leather interior is very nice and comfortable. The odometer shows 02162 (this may have been re-set at the time of the restoration being complete.) All glass is in excellent condition. The Chrysler Fire Power 331 Hemi 4 bbl. motor produces 235 hp, 330 lbs. of torque and runs smooth with no knocks or overheating. It does have some oil and transmission leaks from not being recently driven. The dual exhaust sounds really good! The original style power steering works well. The power-flight automatic transmission shifts as it should. The drum brake system has been rebuilt however the power brake booster mounted on the body frame located underneath the drivers side floor should be sent out to be fully re-conditioned. The wiring under the dash does need attention and I am looking for an original style ignition switch. The 6 volt “Electric Auto-Lite” generator has been rebuilt and replaced. <description>1964 Chrysler New Yorker Talk about a hidden gem. This original survivor sat in a enclosed garage for 40 yrs! The clean upholstery needs some repair and the body has a couple nicks &amp; small dents but she's (Burnadette) in REALLY good condition for how old she is. A bit of rust but nothing like what is normally around. New tires, new break shoes, installed a new break assist too. I understand shes not a 57 Chevy but being all original is so rare that people at the car shows tell us they love and don't change anything about her My grandpa bought her from the original owner and was going to restore her a bit but he didn’t get too far so she sat. He passed away 2 yrs ago and we got her out of the enclosed garage. My dads done what he could but being a old big guy he just can't work on her much anymore. Its probably the only original survivor in the west. She runs good. Only 90480 original miles. 413 V8 automatic. She still rides like a cloud on her new tires. <title>1957 Chrysler New Yorker</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/chrysler/new_yorker/1957/listing/237820</link>
<description>Only 1,049 made total! 2,000 hours were spent restoring this car to look like a piece of mechanical jewelry. Only 11 miles since finished. 1957 saw a complete redesign resulting in this lower, sleaker car with fins that sweep upwards. Referred to as "The most glamorous car in a generation". 1957 also saw 2 major mechanical innovations: Torsion Air ride and a 3-speed automatic transmission.

EXTERIOR: How can you top this? If this doesn't impress I don't know what will! It is restored beyond factory specifications. The body is literally laser straight, every square inch. There's zero rust, zero damage. Repainted gorgeous Indian Turquoise is polished like glass. Every piece of chrome and trim is restored to show quality. All new glass with rechromed frames. Bright white power top. We just installed brand new radial whitewalls and wire wheels. The correct hubcaps in pristine shape are included too.

INTERIOR: Just as pristine as the exterior. It is restored to high standards right done to the small details. A very unique feature is the push button transmission where the neutral switch is the starter button. The dash area is like art work: beautiful gauges and gold knobs. It also features power windows and seat.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This is mechanical jewelry! Every single component is refinished, polished, restored and detailed like brand new. The heart of it is a 392 Hemi making 325 hp and 440 lbs of torque! It has the raw fiberglass heater box, anodized power brake booster, correct hose clamps and stickers. It even has the Mopar washer fluid bag and a reproduction battery.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Inside this ginormous trunk is completely restored. The turquoise is painted as slick as the exterior. It has the complete liner kit including the carpeted floor and side panels. The latches, stickers, weather strip look like new. The white wall spare has never been used. The rim and jack are restored like new and secured properly.

UNDERSIDE: This is one of the cleanest undercarriages we may have ever had. The body was off the frame and literally every component was restored and detailed. The chassis with stripped and painted semi-gloss black. The floors are pristine, clean smooth metal painted satin black. It has the correct dual exhaust system with mufflers and resonators. The fuel system was completely replaced. All the suspension and steering was rebuilt. The brake system was restored, e-brake is hooked up. Bottom of the motor is spotless. The Torqueflite 3-speed automatic trans looks like new. The driveshaft and rear end were restored.

SERVICE: We inspected the car and tightened the power steering belt, rebuilt the carburetor, changed the oil, resecured the visor, rebuilt the fuel gauge, replaced the sending unit, lubed the window track, installed new tires and wheels.

CONCLUSION: I deal with some incredibly nice cars and this one is among the best you'll find anywhere in the world!

Vehicles are displayed in a museum setting. Admission applies without an appointment and is refunded with purchase, including a one-year museum membership.

      <title>1947 Chrysler New Yorker</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/chrysler/new_yorker/1947/listing/237419</link>
<description>1947 Chrysler New Yorker Club Coupe

For consignment, a 1947 Chrysler New Yorker Club coupe with a title verified 73,054 actual miles. This stunning example is the embodiment of 40's styling taken to the extreme with massive proportions and gleaming trim.

  Exterior
For the full impact, soak in this Hawaiian Blue car in profile and see how the sweeping body curves and elongated front fender work perfectly with the windows that contour to the arching roofline rather than defining it. The sheer length is visually tempered by the spear trim over each wheel opening and the bold stainless that starts on the hood, underscores the cabin, and finds some slight curvature on the rear deck. An added third brake light is here on the decklid, trimmed in chrome and escorted by regal tail lights and underscored by decorative chrome bumper and handle. 15-inch wheels wear chrome dome cover and are wrapped in white walls which are not depicted in the sales brochure but look the part! The massive front grille stands tall and three bumper guards front the beast like pawns on a chessboard. Imperfections include some pitted, dull, or surface rusted metals, bubbling and orange peel in the paint, dings in trim and wheel coverings, touched up chips and scratches, and random scratches and scuffs.

  Interior
Deco trim and clean, tan cloth adorn the door panels and both present nicely, opening to a blue cloth split bench seat, column tufted, and a rear bench, also in blue but showing numerous holes in the cloth. It's not hyperbole to say the steering wheel and dash is a work of art, dark blue mixing with chrome trim and switchgear, nicely configured and overall clean, with an AM radio and vertical clock flanking a grilled speaker in jukebox like showmanship. Tan corded carpet covers the floor nicely, a blue windlace trimmed tan headliner looks great, and a rubber coated trunk that shows use and surface rust under the mat finishes our assessment of this overall clean interior.

  Drivetrain
Age induced driver quality conditions are found under the hood where a 323.5 L-head inline 8 cylinder resides with a 2-barrel carburetor and a horsepower rating of 135. A Fluid Drive transmission sends power to the rear axle with 3.91 gears. The Fluid Drive was heavily touted by Chrysler in '47, writing, "If a man, or a woman will drive a Chrysler with Fluid Drive for one thousand miles, in traffic and out on the open road, he or she will never be satisfied with anything but a Chrysler."

  Undercarriage
Some surface rust and the more flakey stuff on outer panels communicate some age, but overall, the underside is clean and intact. A single exhaust flows through a stock style muffler and drum brakes are employed on all four wheels. Suspension consists of coil springs in front and leaf springs in back.

  Drive-Ability
This vintage land yacht sails over our test loop with poise, style, and size, lots of size! The interior is roomy and the outside takes up some real estate, and this was one of the smaller cars in Chrysler's line! Meanwhile, during our test, the engine and brakes work well, but the radio and brake lights, other than the third light, do not. All other functions across the attractive dash and outside of the car work as intended. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

Show worthy as is, but with just a touch of TLC, this could tip the spectacular scale. If this car was in primer, its proportions and style would still impress. Streets were narrower and garages were smaller, so it's amazing what comes out of the 40's, especially from Chrysler. The illustrations in the '47 sales brochure make it clear, Chryslers were special. This example bears that out.

Classic Auto Mall is home to more than 1,000 classic and collectible vehicles for sale via consignment in a climate controlled 336,000-square foot showroom (that's more than 8 acres!). The largest single location consignment dealer of classic and collectible vehicles in the country is located in Morgantown, Pennsylvania, just 1-hour west of Philadelphia off Exit 298 of the I-76 Pennsylvania Turnpike. For more information visit www.classicautomall.com or call us at (888) 227-0914. Contact us anytime for more information or to come see the vehicle in person. There is no guarantee of mileage. A $299 Dealer Administrative fee is not included in the advertised price.

With so many great cars, you know we have a lot to talk about, and we do that each week on the Classic Auto Mall Podcast with host Stewart Howden. Stewart discusses new inventory as well as trends in consignments and car prices, while interviewing celebrities and automotive professionals about amazing cars and their history. Tune in each week to the Classic Auto Mall Podcast wherever you enjoy listening. You can also watch on YouTube!

<description>1976 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham Hardtop

For consignment, a large and long piece of Detroit iron, built back in the day when gas was still under a dollar, and status was measured by the inch.  Purchased new at Bermont Motors in scenic Gilbertsville, PA and driven by the wife until her passing in 1998, this 232.7" long cruiser is sporting a replacement engine that was installed at 40,000 miles leaving the current engine with about 60,000 on it.  All of the original documents, including the order form are included with your purchase and this car is fully functional with the exception of the AC.  Equipped with the St. Regis package, you've never looked so good cruising in this white whale.

  Exterior
Hidden headlights flanking a very sleek vertical waterfall split grille leads the way.  Spinnaker White covers all the straight steel panels which are minding their gaps nicely.  A long long rear quarter and trunk line offer up a 3 bedroom size apartment when times get tough!  Up top, the forward roof section is dressed with like new white vinyl that wraps down and around the rear opera windows but does not cover the sharply flowing C-pillars, giving the roof line a defined air of distinction.  A light blue twin pinstripe runs the upper belt line offering up contrast to the white paint as do all the chromed trimmings in spear, window surround and shiny bumper form.  In back a vertical design emulates the front and has a long side to side tail lighting setup hovering at the pointed ends of the rear fenders above the massive bumper.  Single exhaust peeks out from underneath and 15-inch Mopar road wheels are on all 4 corners and these are wrapped in thin whites in 225/75R15 format.  The lowers of the body, particularly below the chrome trimmed rub strip shows up in slightly different white shade and there is slight bubbling and evidence of body work on the lower panels.

  Interior
A swing of the blue vinyl paneled doors shows plenty of chrome edging, wood applique, and actuators revealed in good condition.  A snappy blue carpet strip is reserved for the bottoms.  Inside, blue front puffy buttoned pillow top buckets are in, and in the center is an original armrest which folds up to become a center seat, albeit somewhat small.  We are firmly in the Brougham/St. Regis area of badging which shows up on the center of the blue steering wheel.  In contrast to the blue is a full wood applique dash and blue carpeting as a base for the chairs.  In back is an original bench seat which again has a central folding armrest.   A tight blue vinyl headliner hangs above and the song is right.... judging by the interior size, this car seats about 20

  Drivetrain
Under the hood is a replaced at 40,000 mile 400ci V8 rated at 210hp, which is plenty of power to move all this steel along at highway speeds and acceleration.  It has a single 4-barrel carburetor atop, and an A727 Torqueflite automatic tranny on back.  The rear axle is a 2.91 geared unit.  A stock style single exhaust is on to let this big fish exhale.  Our consignor notes that the oil was recently changed, new plugs and wires were installed, the coolant was flushed, and the rear axle oil was changed.

  Undercarriage
Underneath has spotty surface rust on the usual suspects and certainly no invasive rust or structural problems.  Some road dirt is also noted on various parts of the suspension which is independent torsion bar front, and leaf sprung for the back.  Power disc brakes are up front and in the back are power drums.  We note a rebuilt brake booster, new master cylinder, new shocks were installed all around, and an entire new fuel system including the tank, lines, sender and fuel pump was installed as well.

  Drive-Ability
A big car with the biiiiig car ride, it has smooth acceleration, bias free braking, and silk like shifting for the automatic tranny.  The AC is not working, and until the engine warmed up the idle was a bit rough.

Not oft seen, this 70's designed large car was a last gasp during all the fuel embargo and competition from the imports from Asia.  Neat design, hidden headlights a plus, and things are large and in charge for this New Yorker.  A fantastic cruiser with the length to impress even the highest executive.

      <title>1955 Chrysler New Yorker</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/chrysler/new_yorker/1955/listing/211111</link>
<description>1955 Chrysler New Yorker Deluxe Hardtop

Fir consignment, a 72,587 actual title verified mile all original car save for a factory matching respray in 2007.  Yes this baby looks great and those "super scenic" front and rear glass, and "tailored steel".  Throw in lots of shiny chrome and sleek low profile roofline and we have an uptown girl in the form of a 1955 Chrysler New Yorker Deluxe ready to take in the town and take over your garage.  Start spreading the news...

  Exterior
A wide trimmed split front grille with another horizontal trim piece below and a nicely curved bumper framing the bottom with signal lights attached to the top of said bumper leads the way.  A big cloisonné badge is on the small "beak" in the grille area flanked at the end of each front quarter panel with a wide chrome bezel single headlight.  A nicely shaped bulbous, but overdone, hood makes its way to the wide trimmed curved front glass.  The remainder of the passenger compartment glass is surrounded by thin trimmings.  Canyon Tan, (Coral), paint covers all the lower steel panels, which are all rust free.  The roof line is painted in Desert Tan, (Beige).  On either side is an ever-widening trim spear in beautiful shiny chrome and a Desert Tan insert panel.  A wide chromed badge that says Newport adorns the bottom of the b pillar.  On the back, the big chrome theme continues with upper rear quarter trimmings that are basically chromed tail fins housing the cathedral style tail lights.   Just below are oval backup lights and a thick shiny wrap around bumper with dual chrome tipped exhaust outlets peeking out below.  Wide whites wrap pristine wire spoked wheels with center knock off hubs.  Make no mistake, this car is very large... I guess we could call it Metropolitan in its air it puts off.  One.... singular sensation...

  Interior
Inside swinging near perfect doors which are covered with wide stitched and padded upper panels in cream leather, have a chrome strip delineation appliqué, and below shows us a beautifully sewn in darker tan rectangular tweed broadcloth panel in the center and a brown strip of carpeting on the bottom.  A seamless armrest and shiny actuator lever and a window crank are also within this door panel.  Inside warm cream vinyl bolsters and half backs frame a central rectangular darker tan tweed broadcloth inserts.  For original seats these are amazingly well preserved.  Upfront, a wonderfully sculpted undulating S curved dash front befitting of the Chrysler moniker houses all the gauges one needs to monitor while driving this automobile.  Curved two tone Canyon Tan mixes with Desert Tan painted metal.   Shiny bezels, a shifter in the dash and perfectly chromed knobs pepper this dash with all the essential switches and below a shiny chromed panel houses the ignition, ashtray, and a cowl vent slider.  The factory AM radio is neatly installed and for the passenger a  Desert Tan painted glove box covering door is curvaceous to the point of making Raquel Welch jealous, and sports some vertical opening for the speaker and a circular clock above.  Thick pile mauve carpeting covers the floors and is the perfect landing spot for those wingtips so they will not have their spit shine marred!  "The buck stops here!"

  Drivetrain
Under the hood is a the original 331ci Hemi V8 engine fed on top by a single 4-barrel carburetor.  On the back is a 2-speed Powerflite automatic transmission, and way back for the axle it has 3.36 gears.  All is very nice under this hood. This engine bay is all original and very clean.  Get my dinner plate and silverware I'm eating here tonite!  "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen!"

  Undercarriage
All fully undercoated belly if you will ,shows nice and neatly just a light coating of surface rust peppering smaller areas.  All else is black and structurally sound.  Floor pans look patinaed and slight road dirt has accumulated.  Power drum brakes are all around and for the front independent coil springs provide the ride.  In back the task is left for the leaf springs.   Take me to the end of Park Avenue, I have a bridge I want to sell you.

  Drive-Ability
I slipped inside this preserved beauty and immediately I was awestruck as to how clean it really is.  Hard to believe it's all original.  So I fired it up and went for a ride and oh what a ride it was.  I put some miles on this baby as I wanted to see and be seen.  During my trip all worked wonderfully, functions, ride shifting and accelerating as well as bias free braking.

A really nice clean original example with just a respray and all else original.  A Hemi, finely appointed interior, excellent exterior design, beautiful wrap around glass, chromed wire wheels and all I can say is NEW YORK....NEEEW YOOOOORK!  da da dah dah da...

      <title>1953 Chrysler New Yorker</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/chrysler/new_yorker/1953/listing/198588</link>
<description>1953 Chrysler New Yorker Deluxe Newport
The New Yorker name was first introduced by Chrysler for their flagship model in 1940. They were produced until 1996, which at that time made it the longest running American car nameplate. The New Yorker changed a lot of things for Chrysler and helped to elevate their brand to compete with more upscale models like the Buicks, Cadillacs, etc. They were higher priced than others and equipped as such. This 1953 is not just the unique New Yorker but is the higher end, top of the line, Deluxe Newport Coupe making it the nicest money could buy. Only 3,715 were built and the amount remaining has been estimated by some to be fewer than 6. This particular car was originally sold by Epton Motor Company to its first owner in Pendleton, South Carolina. It has a clear title and also comes with the original Chrysler Owner Service Certificate. In 2014 the car was gone through and received a mechanical restoration as well as a repaint on the body. The roof is Caravan Beige but was not repainted due to it being in such good shape. The body is Cinnamon Metallic and has a great shine. Both colors are original (code 78) to the car. The car still retains all of its original sheet metal and is all rust free. It wears all of its original style trim/chrome pieces and they aren't perfect but still in good shape. The glass is in good condition throughout with no cracks. It rides on a set of nice hobby car wire wheels with spinner style center caps which look great. They are wrapped with wide white wall Diamondback radial tires. The car doesn't have fender skirts but it almost appears like it does with the way the rear wheels tuck underneath. This is because it has been lowered 2 inches for an improved stance.
As mentioned previously the drivetrain was entirely gone through and improved in 2014. It was turned into a really nice driver that moves down the road much better than it did originally. The original 331 hemi motor was all rebuilt using Hot Heads equipment. It is very well done throughout and got a new 270 cam, pistons, and heads. It also now features a rare 1954 4 barrel intake topped off with a new Demon carburetor and a custom made air cleaner. About $6,500 has been invested in the motor alone. The car would have originally come with a 2 speed but a large improvement is the 727 torqueflite transmission with a Hot Heads adapter plate. It shifts well and makes it much more road friendly. The car still has a 6 volt system but is super easy to start, so much so that you may not even realize it is still 6 volt. During the restoration it also received new dual exhaust (which sounds great), new driveshaft and new wheel bearings. Underneath the floors are all good.
The interior of the car was completely redone in the correct pattern in a two tone style like the exterior. The material was supplied by SMS interiors out of Oregon and is in great condition. It has a split front bench seat and a bench in the rear so is very roomy. The dash has a stock look and is very unique. The original gauges are working properly and the car even has its original steering wheel with chrome Chrysler horn button. The trunk offers a lot of storage space and houses both the spare and original jack set up.
This is a super unique car that is in great shape. If you are in the market for something you won't see every car show it is definitely one to take a look at.
Take it home for the very reasonable $32,500.00!
NOW REDUCED DOWN TO $31,000.00!
