      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/dodge/challenger/1970/listing/255716</link>
<description>INTRODUCTION: Here's the real deal- a genuine R/T, born like you see it, verified by its original fender tag! #s matching 383, born in stunning Plum Crazy Purple with the rare factory air conditioning option. A rotisserie style restoration, documented with a photo album, has made this one as impressive underneath as it is on top.

EXTERIOR: The body is exceptionally clean and straight. You can run your hand along the rockers and lower fenders and feel just how smooth the panels are. Repainted in its original Plum Crazy Purple, the metallic is laid out evenly and topped with a deep, glossy clear coat. Being an R/T, it features the signature power bulge hood with hood pins, further complemented by color keyed racing mirrors and the iconic pop-up gas cap. It has its optional longitudinal side stripes adding even more pop! The vinyl top, windshield, and weatherstrips have all been replaced. The bumpers have been rechromed, the grille is in excellent condition, and the taillight assembly has been replaced. It's rolling on factory 14-inch Rally wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.

INTERIOR: It is very tidy and well restored. The seats have been reupholstered, and the door panels appear to have been replaced along with the handles and window cranks. It features a high quality reproduction dash pad and the desirable factory Rallye dash, complete with a tachometer. Being a factory air conditioning car, it also has the correct controls and dash vents. The center console is in excellent condition and houses the iconic Slap Stik shifter. Fresh carpet, clean factory seat belts front and rear, and an upgraded stereo complete the interior.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has been restored to factory fresh condition. At its heart is the original VIN-matching 383 Magnum, rated at 335 horsepower. We've verified the casting numbers and dates. It features the correct stock air cleaner, factory manifolds with the heat riser tube, and all the firewall components are clean and properly restored. This Challenger was factory equipped with air conditioning, power steering, and power brakes. It also has the proper horns, washer bottle, correct Mopar radiator with the factory shroud, and a reproduction battery topper with the battery properly secured. The original fender tag is still in place and has been decoded, and we've verified the hidden VIN stampings on both the core support and cowl. The entire engine bay is clean, solid metal finished in its correct Plum Crazy Purple.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is clean, complete, and properly restored. Under the trunk lid, the jamb, and the entire compartment are finished in glossy Plum Crazy Purple. It includes a factory Rally wheel spare and a restored correct jack assembly. New weatherstripping, the proper decal, a reproduction trunk mat, and a matching spare tire cover complete the compartment.

UNDERSIDE: It is every bit as impressive as the top! The floors are rust free with smooth, clean metal, along with the frame rails, lower inner quarters, and surrounding structure. It's so clean underneath that it's finished in glossy Plum Crazy Purple just like the exterior. The suspension and steering were completely rebuilt with all the components removed and restored. The brake system was also rebuilt, featuring front disc brakes, along with new lines, hoses, and emergency brake cables. It has a fat dual exhaust with crossover pipe, Dynomax mufflers and correct square tips exiting through the rear valance. The fuel system has been replaced, including a polished fuel tank. Looking up at the engine, it's still spotless including a fresh starter. The casting dates, engine codes, and matching VIN stamp are clearly visible. The 727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission is freshly rebuilt, and in back is the durable 8¾-inch rear end equipped with 3.55 gears.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and our reputation. Every vehicle goes through our service department where it is inspected, test driven, and we address the essentials before offering it for sale.

CONCLUSION: Finding a real R/T is hard enough. Finding one that's numbers matching, factory Plum Crazy Purple, factory air conditioned, documented by its original fender tag, and restored to this level is another story. This is the kind of Mopar that checks all the boxes and only becomes more desirable with time. Don't let this opportunity pass you by- call today and make it yours before someone else does.

      <title>1970 Dodge Challenger</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/dodge/challenger/1970/listing/255217</link>
<description>INTRODUCTION: Very meticulous build by expert Mopar restorer- Dave Dudek. I just spoke to him and he says he started with an absolutely rust free original body. The miles on the car (50,900) are actual and the interior is original! It was a no expense spared restoration for a serious Mopar collector. It's truly one of the best restorations I've seen!

EXTERIOR: The fit, finish, and craftsmanship of this Challenger are simply second to none. The body is absolutely laser straight- about as close to perfection as you're ever going to find. Again, talking to Dave he stressed that the body was amazingly dry original metal. The gaps are precise and consistent throughout, and it would take a magnifying glass to find even the slightest imperfection. The black paint is polished to an incredible mirror like finish that looks a mile deep. Even the jambs are finished to the same show quality standard. It is fully dressed in desirable R/T trim, including the power bulge hood accented by subtle matte black performance stripes that flow across the hood and down the sides. Every piece of weatherstrip has been replaced. All of the glass is reproduction with the correct Mopar markings. The chrome and trim are extraordinary- literally every piece is show quality. The stainless trim has been polished like chrome. The chrome racing mirrors sparkle, the grille is pristine, all the lenses have been replaced, it features the iconic flip open racing fuel cap and a brand new taillight assembly. The stance is just right, sitting on modern 17-inch billet Magnum 500-style wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich G-Force performance tires, giving this classic Mopar an aggressive look while maintaining its authentic muscle car character.

INTERIOR: The interior is absolutely stunning. I've seen a lot of nice interiors over the years, but this one is on a whole different level. I honestly can't find even the smallest flaw. It's beautifully restored and loaded with desirable features. The full Rallye dash includes a factory tachometer, quartz movement clock, and what appears to be the original AM/FM radio, cleverly upgraded with modern technology hidden inside. Fresh carpet lines the floor and is protected by reproduction R/T mats. The center console looks brand new, and the highlight is undoubtedly the pistol grip 5-speed shifter rising from the middle. The seats have been professionally rebuilt and reupholstered with the iconic pepper cloth inserts that perfectly capture the muscle car era. The door panels have been replaced, including the handles and window cranks. Above, the headliner, visors, and mirror are all fresh, and even the dome light is working properly. It has a complete set of pristine seat belts, and one of my favorite features is the sporty three spoke Rim Blow steering wheel, a classic Mopar touch that completes the cockpit perfectly.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Complete perfection under the hood! At first glance, it looks like a factory fresh Hemi engine bay, but there's much more lurking beneath the surface. The 426 Hemi block is an unstamped warranty block worth $25,000 by itself! It has been professionally stroked and performance built to produce an impressive 630 horsepower. Despite the added muscle, it retains an authentic appearance, dressed in correct Hemi Orange paint right down to the proper overspray on the battery cable. Topping the engine are dual quad FiTech fuel injection units, combining modern reliability with classic Hemi looks, along with the correct crinkle finish valve covers. Neatly added air conditioning along with factory power steering and power brakes make this Mopar legend surprisingly comfortable and easy to drive. Literally every component appears brand new. The engine bay itself is finished in a show quality high gloss black and is complete in every detail. The horns are in place, the squirters are hooked up, and it features a correct Mopar radiator, reproduction hoses, reproduction spark plug wires, and all the proper finishing touches. The attention to authenticity and detail is extraordinary, while the performance is nothing short of exhilarating.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and in the jamb, the finish is just as slick and glossy as the rest of the car, painted in beautiful gloss black. Inside, the trunk has been neatly boxed and upholstered, and the workmanship is outstanding. Everything fits properly with no loose or unfinished panels, and the entire compartment is fully carpeted for a clean, upscale appearance. The trunk latch and weatherstrip have both been replaced, showing the same attention to detail found throughout the rest of this exceptional Challenger.

UNDERSIDE: Absolutely immaculate! The underside of this Challenger is so clean it looks like it was just completed. Every component of the steering and suspension system has been restored or replaced, including upgraded Bilstein gas shocks at all four corners. The entire brake system has been redone with Wilwood drilled and slotted disc brakes up front, along with new lines and a complete e-brake assembly. A custom stainless steel exhaust system features an X-pipe, DynoMax mufflers, and the correct square exhaust tips exiting through the rear valance. Looking up at the engine, everything is spotless, highlighted by the Hemi Orange block and a mini high-torque starter. It is equipped with the highly sought-after Passon 5-speed manual transmission, a premium upgrade known for both its performance and limited availability. An aluminum driveshaft transfers power to the fully restored 8¾-inch rear end loaded with 3.91 Sure Grip gears. The underbody is finished with a neatly applied sound deadener coating, and virtually every clamp, nut, bolt, bushing, and bracket has either been replaced or meticulously restored. The attention to detail is extraordinary.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and our reputation. Every vehicle goes through our service department

      <title>1970 Dodge Challenger</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/dodge/challenger/1970/listing/253441</link>
<description>INTRODUCTION: 1 of just 963 R/T convertibles built! Original purple 383 car, it's been taken to the next level with a ground-up restoration and upgraded with a correct 440 Six-Pack- now delivering the look and performance most buyers want!

EXTERIOR: Right from the start, it's an extremely rare R/T convertible and what really pushes this one over the top is the factory Plum Crazy Purple finish! Paired with black hood and side stripes, it is an absolute head turner everywhere it goes. The body is straight and smooth from front to back right down to the rockers, with very nice panel fit throughout. The paint is laid out beautifully and polished to a deep, high gloss finish. All of the chrome and trim presents bright and clean. It features hood pins, the correct antenna, and the iconic pop up racing gas cap. The glass appears to be original. The power convertible top is in excellent shape and includes a glass rear window. It's sitting proudly on a set of 15-inch Rallye wheels wrapped with reproduction Goodyear Polyglas tires, giving it the perfect period-correct stance.

INTERIOR: Inside it has a very honest, well preserved appearance. The carpet has been replaced and fits nicely, while the seats have been reupholstered and look fresh. It still has its original dash pad, which is a big plus in my opinion because the VIN tag has never been disturbed. There are a couple minor cracks near the speaker corners, but overall it presents very well. It's equipped with the desirable Rallye dash with full gauge package, including the factory tachometer. The original AM radio is still in place, and the center console is in very nice shape with its iconic Slap Stik shifter. The plastic door panels are in good condition and the rear panels do have a pair of vintage Jensen speakers. It also has a full set of seat belts, and the interior light is working.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The engine bay was stripped, detailed, and refinished in the car's beautiful Plum Crazy Purple paint, making for an impressive presentation when the hood is lifted. Originally born with a 383, it has since been upgraded to a date correct 440 topped with a factory Six Pack setup. The engine compartment keeps a very stock appearance with correct style valve covers, exhaust manifolds, Edelbrock intake, Holley carbs, and factory air cleaner. At the front of the motor, the pulleys, brackets, alternator, and power steering system are all clean and properly detailed. It also features power brakes, making this big block convertible far more enjoyable to drive. The compartment is finished off very well with proper hoses and wiring routing, both horns in place, Mopar washer bottle, correct fan shroud, and even a Mopar battery topper for the right vintage appearance. Adding to its authenticity, the hidden VIN stampings on the core support and cowl match the car, and the original fender tag is still in place.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is just as impressive as the rest of the car. Under the trunk lid, the jamb, and the entire compartment are all finished in vibrant purple paint. Inside is clean, solid metal, detailed with factory style stickers, a new weatherstrip, a trunk mat, and complete jack and spare assembly.

UNDERSIDE: It is very well sorted and presented exceptionally clean. The steering and suspension appear to be in great shape, featuring sway bars front and rear for improved handling. The steering gearbox was just replaced, and a fresh front end alignment was recently completed. The brake system functions properly with disc brakes up front, drums in back, and the e-brake assembly hooked up and working as it should. It has a fresh dual exhaust system with correct tube-style mufflers and square tips exiting through the valance for that unmistakable Mopar look. The fuel tank has been replaced as well. Looking up at the motor, everything is clean and tidy, including a fresh looking starter. The 727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission looks clean, shifts properly, and recently had the reverse light and neutral safety switches replaced. The driveshaft leads back to an 8¾ rear end packed with aggressive 4.10 Sure Grip gears that deliver serious off the line punch. The floors are very smooth, clean metal, neatly prepped and painted in semi-gloss black for a crisp, detailed presentation.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and our reputation. Every vehicle goes through our service department where it is inspected, test driven, and we address the essentials before offering it for sale.

CONCLUSION: This is the kind of Mopar people dream about owning: a rare, genuine R/T convertible finished in iconic Plum Crazy purple. Add in the 440 Six Pack, 4.10 Sure Grip rear end, and slapstick automatic, and you've got a car that's every bit as exciting to drive as it is collectible. Drop the top, hit the gas, and enjoy one of the most desirable muscle cars of the era!
