      <title>1950 Ford Custom</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/ford/custom/1950/listing/252236</link>
<description>This 1950 Ford Custom Deluxe Convertible-better known as a Shoebox Convertible-is pure post-war cool, the kind of car that didn't just follow trends... it created them. Clean lines, low stance, and unmistakable presence-this is where classic American design started getting bold.

Under the hood sits the original 239 Flathead V8, paired to the iconic "3-on-the-tree" manual. It's not about brutal speed-it's about that smooth, mechanical rhythm that defined an era. Row your own gears, hear that flathead hum, and cruise the way it was meant to be.

This car has seen an older restoration, but it wasn't done halfway. It was brought back to factory form using authentic parts-not cheap reproductions-and it shows. The fit, the finish, the feel... it all hits right. Even today, it stands tall as a true head-turner.

Drenched in Bright Red with a black convertible top that glides up and down like it's still 1950, this Shoebox brings the look. Steel wheels painted to match, capped off with chrome hubcaps, keep it clean and period correct. Open the trunk and you'll find the full-size spare-because details matter.

Inside, it's classic Americana-black and red vinyl that ties the whole car together without trying too hard. It's got heat, an AM radio, and it's still running the original 6-volt system-just the way it left the factory.

Manual drum brakes, power top, and nothing extra you don't need. No gimmicks. No shortcuts. Just a timeless drop-top that reminds you why these cars still own the road.

      <title>1951 Ford Custom</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/ford/custom/1951/listing/248256</link>
<description>1951 Ford Deluxe Custom Deluxe As the first new postwar models offered by Ford Motor Company, the redesigned 1949 passenger-car lineup was as crucial to its maker’s ongoing success as the pre-war Model A, Model T, and the revolutionary V-8 models of 1932. Breaking from tradition with fresh and modern styling that was lower and wider than before, the new-for-1949 Fords featured “envelope” styling with fully integrated fenders and a low, full-width grille delineated by neat chrome trim and punctuated by a faux jet intake at the center. Passenger space was good, with the new Fords built upon a new ladder frame offering a useful, yet rational 114-inch wheelbase. Mechanical specifications were updated to match the new styling, with a new wishbone-type front suspension and longitudinal rear springs replacing the former solid front axles and transverse leaf springs. As before, both six-cylinder and V-8 engines were available. A three-speed manual was the sole transmission available for ’49. Standard and upscale Custom trim levels provided further distinction. Upon their release at New York’s posh Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, they were the first all-new Ford models in more than a decade. Importantly, their introduction on June 10, 1948, preceded new-car introductions by archrivals Chrysler and General Motors, gaining valuable press coverage and positioning Ford as “the automaker to beat” in the increasingly expansive postwar era. The 1949 Ford models and their fresh, clean styling drew wide praise and put the warmed-over 1942 styling into the distant past while positioning Ford for the successes yet to come in the 1950s. The 1951 Ford passenger cars appeared little changed from their 1949 model-year counterparts, however numerous welcomed detail updates spurred advertisements heralding “51 improvements for ’51.” Representing the top of Ford’s model range, this Outstanding 1951 Southern Estate Classic Ford Custom Deluxe Convertible is the product of a Professional Frame Off.</description>

<description>Ford Custom 2 Door Club Coupe This CLASSIC ANTIQUE vehicle was purchased by the current owner about 20 years ago, and is being sold as part of the owner’s estate. The car was the owner's pride and joy and was meticulously maintained. The actual mileage is unknown, but it underwent a total restoration before this owner purchased the vehicle. The vehicle has been stored indoors, and started regularly. The vehicle was converted to a 12 Volt electrical system by a previous owner. The gauges, except for the speedometer, do not work due to the voltage difference. The engine is a 239 CID Flathead V8 developing 100 HP with a single 2 barrel carburetor. The engine starts and runs very smoothly. The engine and compartment are nicely detailed with the factory air cleaner. The transmission is a 3 speed manual with overdrive, so it travels nicely at highway speeds. The chassis is in excellent condition. Floor pans are painted body color, and very solid. There is no rust on the undercarriage. Tires are new Uniroyal Tiger Paw blackwalls, size P205/75 R15, mounted on factory rims painted red, with Ford center hub caps and chrome trim beauty rims. 4 wheel drum brakes are featured. The interior upholstery is in like new condition with rubber floor mats. The dash and door panels are gray with an off white headliner, all in excellent condition. Chrome handles, knobs, Steering Wheel and trim is all excellent. A heater, signal lights and a spotlight are also featured. A push button factory AM radio and Clock are also installed. The exterior paint is virtually flawless. This club coupe has deluxe features including chrome trim around all the glass, sun visor, front grill guard and rear bumper guard protecting the spare tire continental kit. <title>1933 Ford Custom</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/ford/custom/1933/listing/238045</link>
<description>INTRODUCTION: Meticulous build top to bottom! The fit and finish is excellent, stainless hardware was used throughout, and it functions great! Less than 800 miles showing on the odometer, it still looks fresh. The walnut body, chromed Northstar engine and TCI chassis are just a few of the unique features on this classy hot rod. My guys really love this one, cars come and go here and this one has grabbed a lot of people's attention including my Father's, he flipped over it!

EXTERIOR: Rare walnut body with Kewazingo inserts. The woodwork is solid and has a beautiful glossy finish. The doors use piano hinges for a solid and square fit, they shut like a regular car. The black painted surfaces are laser straight and have a mirror reflection. The padded top is finished in a rich black cloth. The glass is all smoked, the doors even have power windows! I love the big original style headlamps with Ford script lenses, the front turn signals are inconspicuously mounted under the fenders. In back it is using original style taillights along with flush mounted LED brake lights in the body. Those aren't the only flush mounted lights, there are some under the doors that light up when you open the doors with the hidden levers. How about the 4 individual side pipes showing under each fender! It is rolling proud and pretty on the Boyd's wheels: 17s in front, 18s in back and they are wearing Pirelli P Zero tires.

INTERIOR: It is actually a very comfortable interior, I'm sitting in the car as I write this. The Tea seats are sporty buckets in front and a matching bench in back. Professionally installed gray tweed upholstery and cut carpet with bound edges. It also has 4 sets of seat belts, a Lokar shifter and chrome e-brake handle on the floor. There is certainly an abundance of beautiful woodwork inside as well, all with a high gloss polished finish in excellent shape. The walnut dash has vintage style gauges with Ford script and a matching quartz clock. The polished tilt column has a beautiful banjo style steering wheel with a walnut rim. An overhead console has a stereo and power deadbolt lock switches for the suicide doors.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Cadillac Hot Rod Fabricators (CHRF) figured the really cool old school hot rods used Cadillac motors so why not incorporate the revolutionary Northstar engine into a Ford hot rod today. Well they successfully did and then turned it into a business. This 4.6 liter all aluminum V-8 with dual overhead cams and 4 valves per cylinder was built using CHRF components and innovation. It also has the Northstar Performance head bolt upgrade. It's covered in chrome and just looks cool, everyone thinks it's a Hemi!

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The rear is very accessible with easy to open upper and lower doors. When the tailgate is down it has a beautiful wood finish.

UNDERSIDE: TCI chassis. Boxed and smoothed frame with tubular center support The front independent suspension is completely polished including the tubular control arms, swaybar, coilover adjustable gas shocks, spindles. in back it has a 4 link system with polished tubular control arms and panhard bar, coilover adjustable gas shocks. There are disc brakes at all 4 wheels , polished calipers, polished backing plates, polished master cylinder, chrome power booster, in front, e-brake. Rack &amp;amp; pinion steering. Polished stainless fuel tank. Looking up at the motor the oil pan is polished, the trans is a 700R4 overdrive automatic. polished aluminum driveshaft. Currie 9 inch rear with polished and finned center section chrome axle tubes. It's detailed under here, if it's not gloss black it's polished aluminum or chrome!

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell.

CONCLUSION: The closer you look the more you will appreciate the extra care, time and skill that went into this build. I'm impressed!

EXTERIOR: This is a sharp-looking '32 coupe! The Rat's Glass chopped 5-window body is exceptionally nice-straight, clean, and fitting together beautifully with no damage. The metal hood features a cool little scoop, and the shaved door handles give it that smooth, uncluttered look. The color combo really works: a gorgeous silver metallic base with bold blue stripes over the top that give it a true muscle-car vibe. The hood louvers are air-brushed, adding another custom touch that sets it apart. The glass is lightly smoked and the windows are power. In front it has indiscreet turn signals and out back, it's finished with LED tail lights. It's sitting proud on a set of Shelby wheels-17s up front and extra-wide 18s out back. The fronts wear BFG G-Force rubber, while the rears are wrapped in Mickey Thompson Sportsmans to put the power down.

INTERIOR: The custom interior is a standout, professionally done by the well-known Kasper Auto Trim. The entire cabin is fully upholstered in a unique design that flows from the kick panels through the door panels and wraps cleanly behind the seats. The seats are finished in a two-tone silver and blue, and the headliner matches with molded accents that really set it off. A compact overhead console houses the map lights along with the power window and power trunk switches. The dash features a full set of matching gauges, including a tachometer, and is dressed up with tasteful airbrush work. Even the wiring under the dash is tidy and well-executed. The polished tilt column is supported by a pair of polished piston rods-an eye-catching custom touch-and it's topped with a beautiful polished wheel. Behind the seats is a stereo setup with dual speakers. On the floor you'll find a Lokar shifter and a pair of much-appreciated cup holders to make cruising comfortable.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Powering this hot rod is a fuel-injected 5.3L V-8 topped with a custom engine cover painted to match the car. It's equipped with coated headers and a full serpentine belt system for reliability. An AutoRad aluminum radiator paired with a big electric fan keeps everything running cool. The engine bay itself is impressively clean and uncluttered, featuring mirrored side panels, a smooth firewall, and a show-quality finish that really highlights the drivetrain.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The trunk is fully finished and features a power-lift lid operated by a billet hinge. Inside, everything is completely upholstered-including the underside of the trunk lid-in silver with matching blue racing stripes. It has a carpeted floor, interior lighting, and a custom fuel cell, all neatly integrated for a clean, show-quality look.

UNDERSIDE: It is sitting on a boxed frame with tubular supports painted to match the stripes. Up front is a Heidts independent suspension with polished tubular control arms, polished coilover adjustable gas shocks, rack and pinion steering. In back is a four-link system with polished tubular control arms, panhard bar and polished coilover adjustable gas shocks. It has a stainless exhaust with polished MagnaFlow mufflers. There are disc brakes at all 4 wheels, up front it has polished backing plates and calipers. Looking up at the motor it is aluminum and has a high torque starter. The 4L75E overdrive automatic is a heavy duty trans with upgraded internals, it also has a finned aluminum oil cooler. A custom driveshaft leads back to the Currie 9 inch rear with a sharp looking polished center section and 3.55 posi gears. The floor is smooth and painted gloss silver, a nice backdrop to the detailed chassis.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell.

CONCLUSION: I really like the look of this one, the colors, wheels aren't typical and they work really well on this car. It's a quality build that's barely been used, it's waiting for you to have fun together!

      <title>1933 Ford Custom</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/ford/custom/1933/listing/237797</link>
<description>INTRODUCTION: A Ford motor in a Ford with a 5-speed manual! Mostly you will find Chevy motors with an automatic trans. This is a quality build throughout. It incorporates the vintage charm with some modern enhancements making fun to look at and twice as fun to drive!

EXTERIOR: Anyone else think of ZZ Top when they look at this car? Its a classic hot rod: '33 chopped three window coupe with suicide doors and full fenders. It's a very high quality fiberglass reproduction body that is absolutely straight and fits very nicely. The running boards have some custom curvatures and the hood is a metal three piece that can open from either side. The red paint is polished smooth and glossy. I like that it has original style door handles and original style big headlights. The headlights and lenses have Ford script on them, the turn signals are built in. The mirrors are updated and have built in turn signals too. In back is a set of teardrop LED tail lights and a third brake light below the rear window. It rolls on a really nice set of polished Billet Specialties wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich tires, of course much fatter in back for that hot rod look.

INTERIOR: This is a first class interior! The entire inside is upholstered including under the dash and behind the seat. There is a lot of custom sculpture work on the door panels and headliner. It's a very comfortable Wise Guys power seat. Down on the floor it has premium Mercedes style square loop carpet with matching mats. It also has leather boots around the chrome e-brake and the Hurst 5-speed shifter. The dash is clean and simple dash, the controls are below out of site. A nice looking set of easy to read Classic Instrument gauges includes a tachometer and it's showing 3,500 miles since the build. The tilt column has a beautiful deluxe wheel. The stereo is overhead and the speakers are custom integrated into the rear panel. 3 point retractable seatbelts were installed.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Yes, it has a Ford motor! It's a crate 351W making 365 HP with Roush heads, aluminum intake, a dual feed Holley Street Avenger 670 carb, Mallory Unilite ignition and a set of coated headers. It's dressed up in some very nicely custom painted valve covers and air cleaner. The front of the engine has a polished alternator and polished A/C compressor. The engine bay is a nice smooth red finish.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The trunk compartment is done with the same amount of detail as the interior! A switch inside the car operates the power lift trunk. It's been boxed beautifully and upholstered. The floor has the premium carpet. Behind the panel you'll find the battery.

UNDERSIDE: Powder coated chassis, the frame is boxed and has tubular supports. Up front it has a TCI independent suspension with tubular control arms, swaybar, coilover adjustable gas shocks, rack and pinion steering. In back is a four link system, also with coilover adjustable gas shocks. It has disc brakes at all four of the wheels and a working e-brake assembly. A very nicely bent exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers and dumps was ceramic coated black. It goes all the way out the back with flared polished tips. It has a composite fuel tank from Tanks Inc, braided stainless fuel lines and an inline chrome filter. Looking up at the motor, it's clean and it has a high torque starter. A heavy duty scatter shield covers a Center Force hydraulic clutch and it has a crate 5-speed Richmond trans. The rebuilt 9 inch locker rear end was powder coated. It is very clean and proper under this one!

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell.

CONCLUSION: This is a well built hot rod with class!

      <title>1951 Ford Custom</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/ford/custom/1951/listing/232125</link>
<description>1951 Ford Custom Deluxe Tudor Sedan

For consignment, a 1951 Ford Custom Deluxe Tudor sedan showing 81,711 miles, but the true miles are unknown. The new '49 Ford, (continued to '51), was available with an economical inline six or the famed 239ci flathead V8 engine in a range of body styles, returning Ford to first place in sales among American manufacturers.

  Exterior
In a shade that would have been unique in '51, and definitely different for this vintage in 2025, Prowler Purple Metallic is the unique color of choice and it just seems to work. As an early 50's can and one intended as a commuter, this car predates the excessive use of ornamental chrome and is nicely understated with protruding trim that terminates with the tail lights, escutcheons on the door handles, and polished trim that borders the visor. Up front, big chrome starts to develop with a big central bar with torpedo accents under an arching grille surround, all in wide chrome. Out back however, the bumper has been painted body color while exhaust tips contrast in color as they emerge from underneath. 15-inch tan painted wheels wear moon style hubcaps, beauty rings, and white wall 205/75R15 tires, the rears partially obscured by ribbed fender skirts. The only imperfection we find is a minor one, a scuff or the rear bumper.

  Interior
The combo of purple and tan finds its way to the inside beginning on the door panels which alternate colors and materials with the tan painted window frame topping these handsome doors, both in very nice condition. Tweed coverage colors the split bench seat with accenting tan bands and the nice condition and layout is mirrored by the back bench. Full color coordination is maintained up front where the spokes of the steering wheel are painted tan along with the dash surround which houses the smart metallic instrument panel with clean black knobs and a gold centered speedometer that utilized a rotating circle to indicate speed instead of a needle. The AM radio fits right in, just under a modest analog clock. Plush tan carpet below and felt headliner above are both in excellent condition while the trunk is left barren and clean and home to a spare white wall tire and tan wheel.

  Drivetrain
A bronze painted 239ci flathead V8 completes our hat trick of clean sections, this one rated at 110 horsepower and fueled by a 2-barrel carburetor. The 3-speed manual sends power to the rear axle and 3.73 gears while drum brakes are found at all four wheels. Thus, the entire topside of this car is show worthy!

  Undercarriage
More like driver quality underneath with peeling paint on the gas tank, some typical surface rust, and some oil sling at the front of the driveshaft. We also note some dampness at the rear differential. Beyond that, the dual exhaust system carries a pair of Raptor mufflers on its way to the back. Suspension consists of coil springs up front and leaf springs in the back.

  Drive-Ability
We're always up for some flathead follies and this one cranks to life without protest and we set this clean purple people pleaser onto the test loop where it provides good power, a comfortable ride, and straight tracking. The open greenhouse provides nice visibility as well. We note the horn and clock are not working but all other functions operate as they should on this well sorted Ford. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

If you're looking for a clean classic with some custom touches and room for the family and your car show supplies, this Tudor sedan fits the bill. It's fantastically clean and you'll likely have the only one in this color, making it instantly recognizable and a crowd favorite. This is one from the "you couldn't build it for that price" department and will look incredible in your garage. Just tell us where to ship it!

      <title>1950 Ford Custom</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/ford/custom/1950/listing/223631</link>
<description>1950 Ford Custom Deluxe Country Squire Woody Station Wagon

For consignment, a frame off restored 1950 Custom Deluxe Country Squire woody wagon looking the part with its rounded lines accented by chrome trimmings.  A worked over and souped up 239ci flathead V8 and beautiful wood for the passenger's compartment, but all still retaining that post-war Ford charm.  A fine example showing a mere 11,991 title verified actual miles gracing our South hallway or maybe even the main showroom.  These cars tend to move all over the Hallowed Halls of the Classic Auto Mall.

  Exterior
All steel with attached chrome upfront sporting a center bullet style ring and building on this design to complete the entire grille.  Chrome is in great condition, showing excellent and mirror-like all around.  The steel shows with some slight rust bubbling on the lowers and is bathed in a year correct hue of Cambridge Maroon.  The paint overall remains shiny but does present with its fair share of cracking and chips.  This car has one of the coolest hood ornaments, very art deco style with its pointed raised sides and 1/4 circle clear insert.  Part of the post war redesign, we note slab sided fenders, we are moving into the modern era of the next car look as to the overall design genre.  A hinged on the back hood with some curved edges, and a bulbous badged front section let us know we are firmly in Ford country, but starting with the dual pane windshield we move into another world altogether.  We see a central passenger compartment which utilizes a mix of blonde oak boarding and panels to make up the square doors and rear side panels.  A full length Cambridge Maroon steel roof covers this wooden compartment and rounds over the roof edges creating the perfect topper.  More maroon steel is taking shape for the bottoms of the rear fenders and crystal clear sliding glass for the 2nd row seating area gives your passengers a wonderful view of the countryside as you motor along.  Moving to the back we note the clamshell style steel rear gate with its spare tire cover and round chrome bezel tail lights.  A near perfect chrome bumper with upright guards sits below all of this and 15-inch maroon steel wheels with polished trim rings and chrome Ford logo moon caps and deeply treaded wide whites round out the package.

  Interior
Taking some liberties to show off the fine finishes of the interior, the maroon painted metal dash with exterior matching curved design is nearly pristine and houses a large centered speedo, with surrounding oil, battery, temp, and fuel gauges.  We note a central clock is above an original oval faced round push button Ford AM radio.  Fronting the dash is a red bakelite steering wheel with chromed horn half ring all presenting as nearly new.  A clean tan carpet is below in good condition, and above is a tan headliner nice and tight with no stains.  The 2 rows of chairs are now covered in nice medium saddle leather and there are a split and solid benches for the front and rear row respectively.  The door panels are finished in a faux oak paneling and have chromed handle accenting for the cranks and actuators.  A large round brown bakelite steering wheel with a black leather wrapped rim fronts this dash.  The inside of the passenger compartment is pure art with a mix of wood, cloth and leather.

  Drivetrain
Flipping the hinged hood, we see in the restored engine bay, a 239ci flathead V8 which our decoder states is correct for this car.  The mill is fed air and fossils via a pair 2-barrel carburetors sandwiched between an Offenhauser intake manifold and small chrome air cleaner assemblies.  We note the addition of Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads along with a conversion to a 12 volt system with an alternator replacing the generator.  A 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive is on back which sends power to a 4.10 geared rear axle.

  Undercarriage
An X frame with no rust firmly supports rust floor pans and body hangers all in a nicely applied black.  This is definitely an all solid undercarriage environment with very few flaws to note, with even the dual exhaust system and glasspack style mufflers looking nearly new.  Independent coil springs provide the ride front and in the rear are traditional leaf springs that all work with drum brakes on all 4 corners.

  Drive-Ability
She started right up, and on the test track had solid acceleration and bias free braking.  The steering was smooth and shifting was the same.   All other functions were working as they should save for the overdrive being non functional, otherwise I had a splendid ride around our test track simply breathing in all the wood craftsmanship.  While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

In keeping most of its original charm with under 12,000 original miles, we see an overall very good condition automobile with that fab grille!  Much of the original trimmings and steel panels have been retained and the paint is near excellent, still shiny after all those years showing just a few small battle scars.  It is time to do another bucket list thing in retirement, so advantage YOU!  Come and get it!

      <title>1949 Ford Custom</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/ford/custom/1949/listing/222489</link>
      <description>1949 Ford Custom Club Coupe

For consignment the car that single handedly did away with the American car concept of old that utilized distinct fenders and running boards and ushered in the era of slab sided envelope styling with a clear clean line from front to back no running boards no protruding fenders. A blank canvas so to speak with the body in primer but the interior redone in a handsome 2 tone scheme, and showing 12,428 miles on the odometer. Unfortunately, these miles cannot be verified as original due to an exempt status for mileage on the title. A turnkey cruiser ready for you to let your imagination run wild.

  Exterior
Sitting in its simplified glory we have a nice chromed grille complete with a turbine style central moniker 8 in red. A circular F O R D hovers above and follows the line of the turbine and fronts the massive hood. All mostly straight steel panels, bathed in a coating of gray primer covers this split window, 2 door sedan. Up high bathing the roof is a nicely contrasting satin light blue. A few dings, scratches and scrapes are noted along with paint chips, but hey its primer and it's time you dig out the PPG color catalog. Bringing up the rear are two simple oval tail lights, some badging around the trunk lever, and a clean long and no marred bumper. A nice, chromed spear runs just below the belt line, is also pristine, and adds a nice highlight to the steel slab sides. As do the added aqua hued rear fender skirts, giving this car the signature "low and slow" look. Wide whites are on all 4 corners, and standard Ford wheel covers in their shining glory are present as well with just a hint of red peeking out at the edges.

  Interior
Opening the doors reveals very clean door panels with smooth vinyl in white taking center stage, and sandwiched between light blue steel uppers and light blue vinyl lowers. Nicely done bullet style handles are present, as is a vinyl covered armrest and swoopy chrome trim spear. Looking inward we are met with an inviting bench seat with a split back. These beauties are covered with smooth light blue vinyl bolsters and white tuck and roll inserts. Beautiful gold piping surrounds the edges, and they sit within a perfectly restored blue vinyl covered metal "tub" if you will. The rear bench emulates the same tasteful pattern and is also pristine. These benches sit upon a near perfect low pile blue carpeting. Turning our attention to the dash we see a centrally located circular gauge cluster surrounded below by a smattering of chromed knobs and pulls and light blue painted metal. An AM radio in chrome sits in the center of the dash right below a chromed winged circular clock which is mounted to the top of the dash. One more note to the interior, a Magic Air heater is mounted below the dash on the passenger's side and just in front of that is a modern AM/FM/CD stereo.

  Drivetrain
In the center of an unrestored engine bay sits a blue painted engine block and intake manifold topped by a chrome louvered air cleaner. All hoses are shiny and nearly new, and our consignor stated that the electrics have been converted to 12 volt, however we note the battery appears to still be a 6 volt unit. Worth mentioning, it is a 239ci Flathead V8 topped with a 2bbl carburetor, and it is backed by a 3-speed manual transmission. This combination sends power back to a 3.73 geared rear axle.

  Undercarriage
Not only ushering in the pontoon body style, the undercarriage was innovative as well in that a modern ladder frame now supports a coil spring independent suspension in front and longitudinal semi elliptical springs in back. The engine was moved forward to make more room in the passenger compartment and the antiquated "torque tube" was replaced by a modern driveshaft. All this shows in an unrestored invasive rust free environment with only minor patina and undercoating. A dual exhaust system with Cherrybomb mufflers handles the exhale from the flathead and appears as nearly new. Drum brakes are on all 4 corners to provide the stopping power, and now it's off to the races...er...um...test track.

  Drive-Ability
This car fired right up, ran smoothly, and drove very nicely. Despite its 75 years of age, it is a great cruiser with a very comfortable interior. No power steering makes getting in and out of tight places a little strenuous, but once the car is rolling it steers surprisingly easy. Good brakes, and functional exterior lighting was a plus and all functions were working at the time of my drive save for the clock, radio and heater blower. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

A piece of automotive history if you desire, with a new design that would last until cars grew fins, and an undercarriage that boldly went where no other US manufacturer went before. A very nice overall example with the interior and underside already up to snuff. Now it's up to you to pick the colors...let your imagination run wild!

      <title>1949 Ford Custom</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/ford/custom/1949/listing/217383</link>
      <description>Ford Woody-

This solid 1949 Ford 'Woody' wagon was restored in 2009 with many mechanical upgrades. The body of the vintage wagon appears to have most of the original exterior wood components. The wood has been refinished, and the body has been carefully resprayed in dark green. All chrome and trim are in very good condition.

  Looks Are In The Stance-

The wagon strikes a nice stance on steel wheels with trim rings/caps that mount Coker wide-white radial tires. A 'continental tire kit' completes the exterior package.

  Country Squire Of Wagons-

This is the 'Country Squire' of '49 wagons with 3-row seating. The custom interior is upholstered in tan vinyl, and the classic dash is fitted with a digital instrument pod and AM radio. A tilt column has been installed along with a custom wheel and window glass is lightly tinted. Wooden door panels, carpeting and headliner are all in good condition. <description>1949 Ford Custom Convertible

For consignment, a 1949 Ford Custom convertible that's been nosed, decked, shaved, frenched, stretched, lowered, and fitted with parts from other cars to make a completely custom, one off version of a classic convertible. It looks good, and drives well having been driven to the Traditional Custom Car Show in Indianapolis four times!

  Exterior
Let's start with the borrowed parts. The grille is from a 1954 Chevy and has extra teeth, the tail lights are off of a 1954 Mercury, the side trim is from a Buick, and the wheel covers are off a Cadillac. Johnny Cash could write a song about this one! The primary color is red with a white belly under the Buick trim piece and a continental kit rides on the back. Trim has been removed from the hood but in its place is some pinstriping on the front edge and on the fender tops. The chrome bumpers look great as does the bright work, including the spotlights which happen to be dummies. Rear quarter panels have been stretched and custom fender skirts cover the rear wheels, emphasizing the shoulder line of the car which drops slightly from front to rear. Sport side mirrors add a streamline feature and the door handles have been shaved. The white canvas power soft top meets the windshield frame and hovers low, adding to the sleek profile of this big car. Imperfections included some cracking near a front wheel opening, a paint "run" in the white section down low on the body, and some imprecise gaps.

  Interior
Red and white dominate the inside too and start with vinyl clad door panels in classic smooth and stitched panels of alternating color and a body colored metal crown. Front bucket seats are based in white with stitched red inserts, white buttons, and red piping and this pattern is carried over to the rear bench seat, all looking to be in fine condition. A red Lecarra 4 spoke steering wheel, darkened with usage, is presented to the driver on a bright red tilt column which leads directly to a shiny red dashboard. Pinstriping and metal accents adorn the dash which houses the speedometer front and center. In the center of the dash we find a clock and an AM/FM radio just above a custom center console where standard AutoMeter gauges and a Sun tachometer are embedded. A horseshoe style shifter is floor mounted while the rest of the floor is covered in plush, high pile red carpet. This carpet can also be found lining the trunk along with a stitch vinyl sidewall and spare cover replete with white buttons. The battery resides in the trunk as well.

  Drivetrain
A 350ci V8 engine is under the hood topped with a 4-barrel Holley carburetor on an Edelbrock intake manifold. A TH350 3-speed automatic transmission handles the mobility and sends power to the 10-bolt rear axle. Power drum brakes are found at all four wheels, and power steering is supplied to the steering wheels. Appearance wise, the engine bay looks pretty standard, clean but not as showy as the exterior and interior. But as we know from the consignor, this car is a runner! And probably stays cool with the electric fan that's been added.

  Undercarriage
Clean driver quality underneath with surface rust in some spots including around frame welds. Dual exhaust travels from the engine into a pair of Cherrybomb mufflers and then makes a beeline for the back where two huge tips stretch beyond the rear bumper. Coil springs handle the front independent suspension while leaf springs take on the back. We note some oil on the flywheel cover but the pan looks dry.

  Drive-Ability
We hop in the lead sled and roll her out onto the test loop, the 350 singing through the Cherrybombs in a distant song coming from the tailpipes in the next county! It's a big car, comfortable and manageable as we make our way to and from the garage. The 350 might not spin the tires, but it's got enough grunt to move the car confidently down the straight away and the power brakes come in handy around turns. You're looking over a long hood and have a lot of real estate in the back too, so we're mindful of turn ins. Everything works fine with the exception of the horn, the clock, and the driver's door popper.

If you're looking for a one of a kind big bodied hot rod, this is it! Unique modifications render a big presence and plenty of room for the family, and their luggage! Johnny Cash said it best. "You'll know it's me when I come through your town, I'm gonna ride around in style, I'm gonna drive everybody wild, Cause I'll have the only one there is around.".

      <title>1951 Ford Custom</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/ford/custom/1951/listing/211470</link>
      <description>1951 Ford Custom Deluxe

The 1951 Ford Custom Victoria was Ford's first hardtop, offered only in V-8 guise. It appeared in the last year of the 1949 styling generation - and a bit late at that. Still, the Custom Victoria proved immensely popular, outselling Chevrolet's Bel Air by about 7,000 units that year. The pillarless superstructure was styled by Gordon M. Buehrig, of Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg fame, who had come to Dearborn after leaving the Loewy team at Studebaker. Despite exceptionally clean lines, a relatively posh interior, and good performance from the reliable flathead V8, the first Victoria used to be somewhat overlooked by collectors, but in the last decade has become more desired.

This beautifully restored example of the height of Ford design in 1951, shows very well. Consistent gaps, and full redux, including the trunk, engine bay, engine, and undercarriage, you are buying a near showroom car with a classic line.

  Exterior
Dipped in beautiful blue metallic, this paint job was the definition of attention to detail. A few scratchers and a dent or two are around, but overall, it presents in very nice condition. If you are into chrome, and brite work spears aplenty, this car has it in tasteful doses with a 360-degree belt line trim, rear quarter spears that surround the taillights eventually, and lots of bumper, window surround, headlight visors, and grille work to boot. All in very good condition. Throw in some horizontal fender skirts, wide white wall tires, a continental kit, and we are ready to go to the local drive-in movie and vie for some backseat action.

  Interior
Blue bolsters with ivory inserts all in vinyl cover the benches, which are front split, and rear bench. White stitching along with white piping sets the seats off nicely. The front seats have a large seam separation on the driver's upper cushion that most likely can be repaired fairly easily. This blue and ivory shows up on the door panels as well and a gray steel border up top and some chrome and bakelite handles within. Light blue low pile carpeting is on the floors and is protected both front and rear with navy blue mats. In front is the original dash with light gray sprayed metal top, and an interesting mesh chrome front board with all the standard insert knobs, radio and speedometer. A Ford bakelite black steering wheel in chevron styling fronts the dash. The headliner is gray, tight and very clean.

  Drivetrain
The early 1950's Fords have the neatest engine bays with a gleaming copper colored block and heads, topped by a copper painted oil bath air filter. This 239ci V8 is no exception, as it sits proudly in the engine bay in its copper glory. The copper oil bath covers a single 2-barrel carburetor, and the obligatory 3-speed manual transmission and 3.73 geared rear axle is backing up the V8. All hoses and other add-ons are in excellent condition.

  Undercarriage
A thick coating of rustproofing covers the floor pans, rockers and toe kicks. Frame and flooring show surface rust on the untreated sections as does the suspension but all remains structurally solid. Body hangers, suspension parts, and gas tank are good as well. A dual exhaust system with Cherrybomb mufflers has been installed and we note drum brakes all around. For the suspension we see an independent coil spring arrangement on the front and a leaf spring set up on the rear.

  Drive-Ability
Being a sucker for these early 50's Fords, I hopped in and had a great test ride. All was working famously save for the heater blower and the horn, great acceleration, and smooth shifting from the 239ci V8 and 3 speed. I rolled the window down and drove with the obligatory arm bent out the window cruise just for old time's sake. A point of note, parallel parking takes a bit of remembrance with the added length of the continental kit.

For a while these cars were largely ignored in the collector market. Now they have become significant, and this quality build shows that in style, taste, and pure workmanship which is exhausting to imagine all the time put into the restoration of this super cool Ford cruiser. They are not making any more of them, and examples are deteriorating by the day, so this one can be had and enjoyed immediately.

<description>1950 Ford Custom Deluxe 2 Door Landau Hardtop

The era of pontoon fenders and high-riding automobiles was over, and Ford broke out of the gate with a smaller, stunningly stylish car that blended militaristic themes with slab-sided functionality.  This Custom Deluxe Sedan offered for consignment is a fine cruiser that will need some TLC in the body department as it is showing some overspray areas, a few dents and some slight dulling.  A new interior is one of its assets, along with the new Ford design of a more integrated body, and rounded design.  It borders on a street rod, as it does have a bigger mill but is in need of some serious TLC on the mechanical front and some snappy interior upgrades.

NO TITLE-SOLD ON A BILL OF SALE ONLY

  Exterior
All steel with attached chrome upfront sporting a center bullet style ring and building on this design to complete the entire grille.  We see chrome in fair condition showing some dulling and may have been sprayed with silver paint up front.  The headlight bezels for the single lights on the corners of each front quarter are shiny and bright.   Rounded sleek integrated panels abound on this car and all are rust free and bathed in dark red metallic.  A side view shows off the bulbous "early aero" design, and on the back it looks like the tail end of a rocket ship with its small streaking bump outs for the oval tail lights.  A bulbous trunk pulls down to another silver sprayed rear bumper which wraps around the back of the car.  The top is a bit like non alcoholic beer as it is on a canvas covering but is actually a hard top.  It does not move up and down but gives one the appearance of a convertible top.  I'd have to ask why??? but I digress!  The top is in good condition with just a slight tear on one edge.  Thin white wall edged 205/70R15's are wrapping black painted steel wheels that sport trim rings on their edges and dog dish flat moon caps with Ford badging on their centers.  These wheels have some spotty rust on the chrome.  Glass is all clear and trimming for said glass is all good!  Meanwhile the badging and all ornamentation has been long since shaved off.

  Interior
A total redux inside here now showing off in smooth black door panels with the original cranks and actuators.  Inside, gray leather,  late model power high backed bucket seats are installed in front.  These buckets have just slight corner damage on the seats but it's minimal.  In back, an overstuffed gray leather seat is installed and looks virtually like new.  A shining example of the original metal dash with exterior matching curved design painted in a satin black, houses a large centered speedo with additional gauges within this circle.  A few billet styled toggles and switches are below this large central circle, all now fronted by a Grant GT rally steering wheel.  In the center is a more round bulbuls looking design with an upper large round clock and below a trio of aftermarket gauges with shiny bezels and white faces showing the status of the volts, oil pressure, and water temp.  Black carpet is below in good condition, and above is a charcoal gray headliner which shows on the underside of the upper canvas hard top fabric.  In the center is a fashioned from aluminum console to house the shifter.

  Drivetrain
302 cubes of Ford pushrod V8 is now residing under the hood.  It is topped by a simple 2-barrel carburetor and miniature circular open side air cleaner in chrome.  A 3-speed manual transmission is mounted to the back of the V8.  Way back sports a Ford 9 inch rear axle.

  Undercarriage
The underside has been restored to the extent where it now has new black sprayed undercoating on the framing and rockers as well as inner fenders.  The floor pans have a light coating of surface rust but remain solid.  The suspension, rear axle, fuel tank and front brakes are like new in appearance.  These are drum brakes all around, and for the front suspension we note independent coil springs, and for the back leaf springs.  Dual side exit exhaust is on with a pair of Turbo mufflers.

  Drive-Ability
This car fired right up, ran smoothly, and drove very nicely.  It is a great cruiser, with a very comfortable interior.  No power steering makes getting in and out of tight places a little strenuous, but once the car is rolling it steers surprisingly easy.  Good brakes, and functional exterior lighting was a plus. The engine has a distinct knock, so I hesitated to push it any harder than I dared.  It's very clear that some serious work is needed under the hood.

The work is all done in this car, most of it top notch, some could use improvement, but not any emergencies save for the engine knock.  It is a nice cruiser, and in the red a head turner.  I don't understand the top concept but who am I to argue with success?
