Have a new set of lifters to go with it..not yet installed. Cruisomatic automatic trans..rebuilt. new battery. All lights work. Stops straight. Accessory rocker panel moldings. Front seat repairs have been made. Needs finished. Needs headliner and little bit of interior work. Outer body panels inner quarters and rockers are solid rust free. Car was in a barn for many years thus critters got to the carpet. With that said..Car does need attention regarding floor pans..to be done correctly, three of the four need some work. <description>1963 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible. This car is in excellent condition and for the most part all original! We have owned the car for two years now and it’s time to let someone else enjoy her. We love the car and enjoyed sorting out a few things and getting it right. It has the original 352 engine and transmission. The Cruise oMatic transmission is tight and pulls along nicely without any slipping and could easily cruise at 65 miles an hour smoothly, especially with the power steering. I’d be happy to send any videos the paperwork we have that goes along with the car or schedule a time for you to come and view her. She’s a beauty. condition: excellent cylinders: other drive: fwd fuel: gas odometer: 110000 paint color: custom title status: clean transmission: automatic type: convertible Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location is at our clients home and Not In Cadillac, Michigan. **We do have a showroom with about 25 cars that is by appointment only **Please Call First and talk to one of our reps at 231-468-2809 EXT 1 ** FREE Consignment Visit Our Site Today Easy To List Your Vehicle and Get it Sold in Record Time.</description>

      <description>1963 Ford Galaxie 500 2 Door Fastback

For consignment, a mid year 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 2 door fastback with a title verified 76,502 actual miles. The sport hardtop of the early '63 cars became the fastback mid year. This example features many newer parts that have yielded a fine running car that's also easy on the eyes!

  Exterior
The car's had one repaint and now glistens with two stage Tucson Yellow paint, a cream colored coat that is augmented by typical 60's trim and molding including a broad piece of stainless the runs over the shoulder line, then does a hairpin turn to continue through the midline, encircling rear hash marks in the process and a spear that points to the Galaxie logo on the front fender. Fender ornaments are like a pair of shark fins over the fantastic stamped grille, quad headlights with ornamental covers, and a straight bumper with rubber Dagmar type bumperettes. That stamped grille is repeated in back, sitting between the afterburner tail lights and a repeat of the front bumper configuration, all in very nice shape. The car is replete with long panels, including the hood, decklid, and the roof that's extended by the sloping and broad C-pillar. Imperfections include minor filler holes under a door, a paint run under the other, and uneven filler under the grille.

  Interior
The black vinyl door panels feature polished trim and a textured backing plate to the armrest that looks like it came from a steel drum. Our split bench seat is also black vinyl with cabochon ornamentation and cream piping and other than some light compression, this, and the rear bench, present in very nice condition. By today's standards, the steering wheel is thin and this one is fully intact, leading to an original looking dash with horizontal speedometer flanked by circular units. There's lots of polished metal here and even the added twin gauge pod underneath is set in a reflective metal housing. Black carpet floods the floor nicely and the perforated cream headliner up top is excellent. In the trunk, a wall to wall vinyl, insulated mat covers the floor and underneath it, some minor surface rust appears in spots.

  Drivetrain
A nice surprise awaits when the hood is open and it's a nicely detailed engine bay in completely satin black with body colored valve covers and air filter housing. This is the 289ci V8 with 200 horsepower and a rebuilt 2-barrel carburetor. It's mated to a Cruise-O-Matic 3-speed automatic transmission that routes power to the Ford 9" in back with 3.25 gears. Our consignor states there's a newer water pump and fuel lines on board.

  Undercarriage
Here we have more clean conditions and newer dual exhaust running through stock style mufflers that flank the newer gas tank, (with newer sender), and exit via down facing tips. Drum brakes are at all four wheels and suspension consists of coil springs in front and leaf springs in back.

  Drive-aAbility
It has that distinctive(and desirable 60's smell on the inside as we fire it up and roll this beauty onto the test loop. It floats across the tarmac and provides good power and excellent braking. It's all clean surfaces on the inside, and hood ornaments on the outside to guide the nose of Galaxie, which scores 100 on the functionality test! While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

Here's a turnkey, show quality Galaxie Fastback that is bound to turn some heads, even at all Ford shows!  It's obvious this one's been pampered and likely reserved for car shows and the occasional cruise night. Spectacularly clean, we expect to see those afterburners rocketing from the mall in short order. Don't sleep on it too long!

      <description>1963 Ford Galaxie 500 2 Door Sedan

For consignment, a 1969 Ford Galaxie 500 2 door sedan with a title verified 104,217 actual miles. This garage kept beauty is a stunning example of 60's design, clean inside and out, and it's going to make Main Street cruising an absolute blast for its next owner.

  Exterior
Remember when earth tones were the trend? Well, here's one of the lighter hues and now is present with two stage quality as the Sandshell Beige is without flaws on this car. Designer thought the slab sided 500 needed some dress up trim and so obliged with a polished spear that starts on the door and circles a hairpin turn in back followed by the trim running parallel and extending over the front fender. Your eye is also captured by the series of vertical trim pieces in back and also by the broad band that anchors the wide C-pillar. The grille is mimicked by the latch panel trim between the distinctive Ford round tail lights with their crosshair accenting. Half moon headlight covers are flashy and the yellow fog lights on the bumper are a nice addition. 15-inch chrome steel wheels perpetuate the theme and they're wrapped in wide white wall tires, partially obscured in back by the streamlining fender skirts. It's all very nice and ready for show and go.

  Interior
Three shades of brown, including the beige, line the door panels which are enhanced by the aluminum insert housing the armrest. The split bench sports a handsome design with brown velour like cloth bordered with beige vinyl and formalized with accent buttons and polished framing. The rear bench mirrors the materials and design and the sidewalls continue the pattern of the door. Our steering wheel is wrapped in a saddle vinyl cover and leads to the symmetrical dash that puts two round gauges to the sides of the horizontal speedometer. The metallic mid panel takes in knobs, vent levers, an AM radio, an old school liquid compass, and the glove box. There's also an AM/FM/Cassette radio mounted under the dash just over the brown carpet that covers the floor nicely along with some Mustang rubber mats. The light headliner up above shows some age with a tear or two, and the trunk is covered with a plaid vinyl mat and is in good condition.

  Drivetrain
Some bright red elements brighten up the clean engine bay housing a 260ci V8 with a 2-barrel carburetor and rated at 164 horsepower. It is backed by a Ford-O-Matic 2-speed automatic transmission sending power to the Ford 9" in back with 3.25 gears.

  Undercarriage
Driver quality underneath with some expected surface rust, some oil sling, and some grime build up on front componentry. The only rust we note is on both of the stock style mufflers which have rusted through, and they are part of the dual exhaust system that terminates with chrome tips emerging out back. Power drum brakes are equipped at each wheel and suspension is standard with coil springs up front and leaf springs in back.

  Drive-Ability
A twist of the key and the small block came to life. On our test track the car displayed adequate acceleration, good handling and spot on braking. All the attributes you want in a cruiser. That said, functional items all operate with the exception of the clock.  While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

Here we have a spectacularly clean Galaxie with a correct replacement engine. This one is ready to cruise and has many years of providing true classic car joy to the person willing to take it on. In terms of cosmetic beauty, it's out of this world!

      <description>1963 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible

For consignment, a 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible showing 707 miles, but the true miles are unknown. With a monster stereo system, a push button start, and 20-inch wheels, this mid century classic adapts to the trends of the 21st century and still looks good doing it.

  Exterior
Stripped of its trim, its smooth panels now glisten with two stage Candy Red paint, miles deep, and featuring dark red flames, almost ghost-like, that stream down each side of the car. After the paint wows you, it's those 20-inch Eagle Alloy wheels that catch your eye, even the rear one which is tucked up into the fender leaving plenty of polished metal exposed and giving the car a fantastic stance and profile. Out back, the body folds collect the red paint and cast shadows helping define those lines which are flanked by rocket influenced tail lights over a straight chrome bumper and rectangular exhaust tips. Polished windshield trim leads to the black canvas top which is as smooth as silk and houses a plastic rear window. A chip at the wheel opening and a paint run are the only exterior imperfections on this radiant red ride.

  Interior
The custom door panels are a sight to behold with a pair of speakers and get this, a pair of monitors built in to each. We go from the 21st century back to 1963 with the split bench in black vinyl with upholstery buttons on their backs, all in nice shape and mirrored by the condition and colors of the rear bench. A Grant steering wheel fronts a custom dash, a black base with metallic flake housing a couple of Pro Comp gauges and yes, a monitor front and center. A larger Pioneer screen is in the center of the dash and a twin pack of gauges fall just under it. On the floor, black loop carpet surrounds the Hurst shifter and more speakers are mounted in the kick panels of the footwells. The trunk is a sound system showpiece with speakers and amps artfully boxed in and the car's battery also resides in the trunk.

  Drivetrain
Bold and show quality, the big engine under the hood is a consignor stated 390ci V8 with a 4-barrel carburetor and a Cruise-O-Matic 3-speed automatic that routes power to the Ford 9" in back. Chrome and polished metal dominate the bay and braided hoses with AN red metal connectors finish the look.

  Undercarriage
Yep, she's looking good under here as well with dual exhaust that travel through the X-frame and intersect Hushmaster mufflers just before giving way to the squarish chrome tips. Suspension consists of coil springs up front and leaf springs in back and power brakes are equipped as front disc and rear drum. Almost no surface rust to speak of here and only bits of residual oil with no signs of active leaks.

  Drive-Ability
This Galaxie has a fantastic exhaust note, but we also find the steering tends to not respond and the rear axle randomly locking up. We don't spend a lot of time guessing on this one but do check functions which all check the boxes for operation. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

Despite the glitches on our drive, this car presents beautifully. It's sleek and muscular and has a winning paint job and wheel combo. Let's not forget the custom doors, dash, and trunk along with the beautifully appointed engine bay. Pop every opening when you take this to the show because every inch of it is show worthy.
