      <title>1970 Ford Mustang</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/ford/mustang/1970/listing/257924</link>
<description>INTRODUCTION: Wanna be the boss? This is the way to do it without putting in countless hours of work. We have a #s matching car with spotless original metal and it's documented by a Marti report too. It is a one family (two owner) car that was pulled from a basement where it had been hibernating for 30 years, then it received a detailed three year nut &amp;amp; bolt restoration. Remarkably, it retains its original #s-matching engine, 4-speed trans, and rear end as well. "People ask the difference between a leader and a boss. The leader leads, and the boss drives" (Theodore Roosevelt). Now is your time to get behind the wheel!

EXTERIOR: Eye appeal! The Grabber Blue paint commands attention and in my opinion is one of the most attractive colors of the muscle car era. The factory correct color has been reapplied with great attention to detail then polished to a smooth and reflective finish. Claimed by the restorer to have its original metal. Looking down the side of the laser straight original steel body is satisfying with all the smooth contours and crisp lines. The panels were painstakingly aligned with nice consistent gaps that are well above average. The door is open and close easily with minimal effort. The front and rear spoilers plus window louvers greatly enhance the profile. The front grille looks like new and it has Ford branded headlights too. All the glass is nice and clear with new rubber seals and fuzzy strips also. The chrome and polished pieces have all been refinished, presenting beautifully with a phenomenal shine. The factory style Boss 302 reflective striping compliments the interior perfectly and looks tough too. It's sitting on a nice set of 15" Magnum 500 Wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.

INTERIOR: Fresh and fantastic! Both front and back seats are looking good, plus they are equipped with seat belts.. The door panels, headliner, and carpeting have also been replaced with good quality components. It has factory gauges including an optional tachometer. Sitting proudly front and center is a Hurst 4 speed manual shifter attached to the numbers matching transmission. The rear package shelf is in great shape with two aftermarket speakers neatly installed.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Proper presentation! The rebuilt numbers matching 302 Boss is a high revving legendary engine. This one appears fresh and clean down to the new nuts and bolts. The power plant is nicely dressed with the correct air cleaner and valve covers. Pristine Ford Blue paint adorns the engine. All the hoses and belts have been replaced. The battery is properly secured plus the horns are hooked up. The radiator looks to be rebuilt or replaced and it's equipped with power disc brakes too. Under the hood, fender Wells, and firewall are all very neatly painted satin black.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Refinished! Under the trunk lid and inside the jamb have been neatly repainted and the weatherstrip was replaced. Inside the trunk has a vinyl mat. Under the mat is a new gas tank and surrounding it is all clean original steel that is neatly painted satin black.

UNDERSIDE: Clean as a whistle! It is nut and bolt restored but even more impressive, it retains all original rust free metal. A very clean car before the restoration, the floors have merely been freshened with a light dusting of black paint. The Boss 302 came standard with Competition Suspension, it included heavy duty springs, heavy duty shocks and larger stabilizer bars both front and rear. The staggered rear shocks were designed to control wheel hop. The entire suspension on this car has been rebuilt and detailed. It has been upgraded with gas shocks too.

The brake system was totally restored including power disc brakes up front and drums out back. All the lines and hoses were replaced plus the emergency brake is functional. It has a dual exhaust system with a crossover pipe, Flowmaster mufflers, and turned down tailpipes. The fuel system has also been replaced, including a new fuel tank. Looking up at the engine everything is spotless and detailed in correct Ford blue. It has been upgraded with a high torque starter. The original Ford Toploader 4 speed manual transmission was completely rebuilt and retains its correct identification tag, casting codes, and matching partial VIN as well. In back is the original Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.50 gears, which is properly dated and has been rebuilt. Overall, the underside is exceptionally clean!

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and our reputation. Every vehicle goes through our service department where it is inspected, test driven, and we address the essentials before offering it for sale.

CONCLUSION: If you don't like lots of attention and compliments, please do not buy this car! Not only does it look awesome and drive great but it's also a smart place to park your money for investment purposes. Get in, turn the key, and never look back!

      <title>1970 Ford Mustang</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/ford/mustang/1970/listing/255515</link>
<description>INTRODUCTION: Less than 300 miles on an impressive restoration! Genuine Boss 429 Mustangs are among the most desirable American muscle cars ever built. In fact, one recently sold for a record setting $1,045,000. While this is not a factory Boss 429, it has been built and restored to capture the look, feel, and performance of the original- and in many ways, it surpasses it! The fit and finish are outstanding, the upgrades make it a better driver, and the overall quality is exceptional.

EXTERIOR: The 1970 Mustang fastback has some of the best looking body lines ever put on an American car, and this one certainly has the look. The fit and finish are outstanding. The body is laser straight, and I could not find any significant flaws. The doors shut with a solid, like new feel. It features the iconic Boss 429 hood scoop and is further dressed up with front and rear spoilers, sport mirrors, and window louvers. The Grabber Orange paint is absolutely stunning, laid out evenly and polished to a mirror like finish that's likely better than it left the factory. All of the glass has been replaced, and it appears the chrome, trim, and weatherstrips have been replaced as well. It's rolling proudly on 15-inch Magnum 500 wheels wrapped in Cooper Cobra radial tires.

INTERIOR: This is the first time I've sat in this car, and I'm genuinely impressed. The interior is practically brand new from the carpet to the headliner. It features the desirable deluxe interior with what appear to be new molded door panels, complete with working courtesy lights. The seats have been recushioned and upholstered, and even the seat belts look like quality reproductions. The carpet is fresh and protected by reproduction pony floor mats. The center console, dash pad, and instrument bezels all appear new. It has been upgraded with a full set of custom gauges while retaining the factory working clock. The headliner, visors, and interior lights are all excellent. A tilt steering column and leather wrapped custom steering wheel add driving comfort, and the best part is the five-speed shifter proudly sticking up through the console.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The monster under the hood started life as a 460 and was professionally bored and stroked to 520 cubic inches, producing an impressive 600 horsepower and 750 lb-ft of torque. It features premium John Kaase aluminum Boss heads, a factory aluminum intake topped with a dual feed Holley carburetor, MSD ignition with a billet distributor, and a set of custom headers. The front runner system is beautifully finished with billet brackets, serpentine pulleys, a polished one wire alternator, and a modern power steering system with a remote reservoir. Cooling is handled by an aluminum water pump, aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, and an overflow tank, keeping temperatures in check. The entire engine compartment is exceptionally clean, orderly, and highly detailed, making it just as impressive to look at as it is to drive.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid, the jamb, and the inside of the trunk are all painted the body color with a smooth, glossy finish. Just like the factory Boss, the battery is relocated to the trunk. It's finished with a reproduction weatherstrip, trunk mat, and the correct prop rod, making for a clean and proper presentation.

UNDERSIDE: The chassis has been thoroughly upgraded to match the car's performance. Up front is a modern Heidts front clip featuring tubular upper and lower control arms, coilover shocks, a custom sway bar, and rack-and-pinion steering for precise handling. Subframe connectors tie the front and rear together to minimize body twist. In back, the suspension has been rebuilt with new bushings, springs, and lowering blocks for an aggressive stance. The fuel system has been replaced, and a nicely installed dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers exits through polished tips in the rear valance. It's also been upgraded with power disc brakes at all four wheels. Looking up at the engine, you'll find a Ford blue extra capacity oil pan. Power is transferred through a Tremec five-speed transmission to a Strange Engineering 9-inch rear end with 3.50 Traction-Lok gears. The floors have been restored, are completely solid, and are neatly finished in black.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and our reputation. Every vehicle goes through our service department where it is inspected, test driven, and we address the essentials before offering it for sale.

CONCLUSION: Not only are Boss 9 tributes very rare, this one is in exceptional condition. If you want the Boss 429 experience without the seven figure price tag, this is an opportunity you won't want to miss!

<description>1970 Mustang Boss 302 Sportsroof, a 71252 Mile project I first found sitting in 1978. This is a rare classic unfortunately lost the original Boss 302 when the bottom end came apart. Stored as a dream for many years after the motor issue it sat until we found it and brought it back to life with a running rebuilt .30 over 351 Cleveland with closed chamber heads and all new accessories. offered with its numbered 4 speed close ratio toploader 4 speed we had reconditioned including the factory shifter. With our skilled effort we have it back to moving on its own again. Equipped with the great options of Power steering and Power disc brakes make it a desirable model as most of these had little or no options. You find the original front end pieces including clean wrap around shock towers as well as the larger sway bar. The original 9 inch housing and staggered shock plates are intact with the upper rear brace in great condition to. Unfortunately the rear center section was traded out many rears ago at which time the 31 spline axles also dissapeared and a 28 spline 3.00 we believe was installed and is connected to an original 9 inch driveshaft. As for the body the worst first, the cowl is bad and that killed the driver floor and lower supports as well. Sorry to say the passenger side is also compromised. An attempt to fill the area where rotted panels were removed the floor panels are lightly installed although we feel the patch panels should be removed and replace them with a 1 piece floor pan. Now the better body panel news, the original rolled lip fenders are clean and in good shape. The quarter panels and trunk area have very little rot with the roof panel also in good condition. The hood and doors will probably need replacing as well as front and rear valences and the trunk lid is a 69 so it will neep replacing. The trunk floor is OK so thats a plus . This is not a estimate its a overview so you will be responsible for your own inspection.</description>
