      <title>1997 GMC 1500 Series</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/gmc/1500_series/1997/listing/251408</link>
<description>There was a time when a short bed, regular cab pickup was the hottest ticket on the street, and this 1997 GMC 1500 SLE is a clean reminder of why. Finished in sharp two-tone white and red with a matching red interior, it captures that late-90s sport truck attitude when trucks stopped being just workhorses and started flexing some muscle on cruise nights.

Under the hood sits the tried-and-true 350 Chevrolet V8, a small block legend that powered everything from C10s to Corvettes. Backed by a 4L60E automatic overdrive, it delivers that familiar torque-rich pull with easy highway manners. This is the kind of setup that made these trucks dependable daily drivers while still having enough grunt to keep things interesting when the light turns green.

Inside, it is pure GMT400 era charm. A red bench seat with armrest, column shifter, and tilt steering column keep things simple and functional, just the way a proper pickup should be. Power windows, locks, and mirrors, along with air conditioning and an AM/FM CD setup, give it the right mix of comfort and old-school feel without overcomplicating the experience.

The factory short wheelbase configuration is where this truck really shines. These regular cab short beds have become increasingly desirable among collectors and enthusiasts thanks to their clean proportions and lighter, sportier stance. Trucks like this were the foundation of the 90s custom scene, and finding one that still carries its original character is getting harder every year.

With power steering, front disc brakes, and a serpentine belt system keeping everything in check, this GMC is more than just a throwback. It is a solid, honest piece of truck history that represents a turning point in American pickups, when style, performance, and everyday usability finally came together in one sharp package.

      <title>1972 GMC 1500 Series</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/gmc/1500_series/1972/listing/249848</link>
<description>1972 GMC 1500 – Barn‑Stored Survivor, 48k Miles, Great Condition This 1972 GMC 1500 is a true barn‑find survivor with only 48,000 miles on its original 250ci inline‑six. The truck is in very good shape inside and out, especially for something that sat untouched for decades. It was parked in a barn from 1986 through 2022, then kept in a garage afterward. Highlights • 250ci inline‑six with 48k miles • Head has been reworked • Longbed • Interior is in great condition • Body is clean overall • Stored indoors from 1986–2023 • Comes with new intake &amp; exhaust parts (not installed) Condition The truck is not currently running. It needs the new intake and exhaust installed—both parts are included. The engine itself is solid, but it will need some finishing work to get it back on the road. Body is in very good shape for its age. The only notable rust spots are: • Front right fender – about tennis‑ball size • Driver’s side roof – surface rust, not rusted through Frame, floors, and overall structure present well. Interior is clean and well‑preserved. Overall This is a remarkably preserved GMC that avoided the usual Florida sun and salt. Perfect candidate for someone who wants an original, uncut ’72 to finish mechanically and enjoy. Hard to find them this honest and this solid. All of these options are listed on the build sheet in the glovebox . 396 big block. Black paint. 3:73 gear ratio. Tilt wheel. Th400 transmission. 4 core radiator. Carpet . Power steering . This truck is very rare. It's a driver , not a show truck. The body is very straight with original sheet metal. The ball joints , upper and lower are new. Tie rod ends and steering components are new. It has the original intake and exhaust manifolds. The original quadrajet carburetor. Please do not contact me with low ball offers, I have better things to do with my time. I may consider trading it for a very nice camper or toy hauler. You will not find another truck ordered like this one was. fuel: gas odometer: 6,000 title status: clean transmission: automatic Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location is at our clients home and Not In Cadillac, Michigan. **We do have a showroom with about 25 cars that is by appointment only **Please Call First and talk to one of our reps at 231-468-2809 EXT 1 ** FREE Consignment Visit Our Site Today Easy To List Your Vehicle and Get it Sold in Record Time.</description>

<description>1972 GMC 1500 Sierra Grande Pickup This 1972 GMC 1500 Sierra Grande is a beautifully presented example finished in its factory-correct Crimson Red and White color scheme, complemented by a red carpet interior that reflects the upscale trim level of the Sierra Grande package. Power comes from a restored 350 cubic-inch V8 equipped with a 4-barrel carburetor, paired to a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. The truck is well equipped with power steering and power brakes with front disc brakes, providing confident drivability. It also features a full gauge package and new weather-stripping throughout. Comfort and originality are strong highlights. The truck is fitted with cold-blowing factory R12 air conditioning using the correct A6 compressor. The seat has been recovered in NOS factory parchment fabric, matched with a parchment headliner, and retains its original factory AM radio. A textured grip steering wheel completes the interior. Exterior details include the desirable woodgrain-style trim along the body sides and tailgate, along with chrome windshield and beltline trim and chrome bumpers, giving the truck a clean, period-correct appearance. <title>1970 GMC 1500 Series</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/gmc/1500_series/1970/listing/238601</link>
<description>You'd have a hard time finding a truck from any era that effectively combines the sensibilities of this 1970 GMC 1500 Patina Restomod. The natural patina derived from years of service is proudly displayed over its exterior, serving notice that this venerable pickup has seen a lot in its considerable lifetime and is all the better for it. By contrast, an aggressive lowered stance and a set of attention-grabbing 20" KMC wheels add a definite aftermarket sensibility. Add to that a frame that's been properly prepped for a premium aftermarket suspension, with the dual air compressors already in place, and you have one seriously distinctive ride, a ride you're unlikely to come across anytime soon on the road.

The interior has been largely left in its native configuration, with some aftermarket touches blended into the mix, including an upgraded, split-bench seat that provides plenty of comfort for even the longest of road trips, a sharp-looking Grant steering wheel now in place on a tilting column, and a set of aftermarket gauges in the instrument cluster to keep tabs on motoring functions. A Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo sits at the center of the dash but will need a little attention to get back online. Just below, a display is mounted securely in place to control an Air Ride suspension.

Climb inside, settle onto the bench seat, and you'll have plenty of power at your disposal, courtesy of the 383-cubic-inch stroker V8 that sits inside the engine compartment. Equipped with a Holley Sniper fuel injection system that offers a level of adjustability and all-weather dependability unattainable in its original configuration, the engine is in top form, pulling with enough strength to knock you back in your seat as it pairs with an automatic three-speed TH350 transmission that shifts seamlessly. An added set of shorty headers minimizes performance-robbing backpressure, while a dual exhaust that terminates in a pair of Flowmaster mufflers provides just the right note as you tap on the gas pedal. This 1500 is also equipped with power steering and power brakes that feature discs in front, so it handles easily and comes to a stop with no fanfare.

  HIGHLIGHTS

  • 383-CUBIC-INCH BLUEPRINT V8
 • HOLLEY SNIPER ELECTRONIC FUEL INJECTION

 • ATTENTION-GRABBING PATINA EXTERIOR
 • AGGRESSIVE LOWERED STANCE
 • 20" KMC WHEELS

      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/gmc/1500_series/1970/listing/214020</link>
      <description>1970 GMC Sierra 1500 Pickup
Classic pickup trucks have always had a following but it seems that in the last decade or so they're desirability has really skyrocketed. There are restoration shops dedicated to their preservation and it seems like every year more classic truck exclusive shows are popping up everywhere. There are many options to choose from but one of the most consistent favorites is the "Action Line" series marketed by both Chevrolet and GMC in the early 70s. While they had similarities there were also subtle differences throughout the years. For GMC, the "Sierra" option package was introduced which would ultimately become its own trim line. This very cool 1970 GMC is very nicely built perfectly combining the classic Pickup look with modern upgrades and performance. It is a fresh build with 1,300 miles on it since completed. The body is very solid and rust free. It has new paint that was redone in a clean 2003 Dodge Silver color that has a nice shine. It is then topped off with all of its stock style Black/stainless trim, chrome grill, and chrome front/rear bumpers. "GMC" emblems are mounted on the nose and tailgate with the "GMC 1500 Sierra" emblem on both front fenders. Unlike the Chevy's the GMC had switched over to double headlights and all of lights including side markers are working properly. It has smoked glass throughout and all windows are in good condition. The truck came from the factory as a flareside but has been turned into a short bed fleetside. With that conversion the bed was tubbed to allow room for a wider rear wheels and tires. The wheels are all 15 inch Rally's with beauty rings and nice chrome center caps. Fitted to all four are P275/60R15 Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires.
To bring the truck into the world of modern driving it now has a 6.2 LS Vortec motor under the hood in place of its factory 350. Cooling is no problem being provided by the Champion aluminum radiator with dual electric fans in a custom shroud. The truck starts up, runs great, doesn't smoke, and has plenty of power. It sounds great too through the dual headers into 3 inch exhaust that dumps before the rear end out of Borla mufflers. The motor is paired with a smooth shifting 6L80E 6 speed automatic with overdrive and a 2800 stall torque converter. In the rear is a 12 bolt with 3.73 gears so you can cruise around town and down the highway comfortably. The brakes have all been gone through and are power assisted with a booster and proportional valve. Up front are standard GM discs and CCP discs have been added in rear. It has power steering as well so even with its classic exterior drives much smoother than it did new. The suspension has been totally rebuilt with 2 inch drop spindles up front and 4 inch springs in rear for the perfect ride height. During the build it also got a new rear sway bar and all new cab/body bushings.
The interior incorporates both Silver and Black which is in great shape throughout. The upholstery has all be redone with new door panels, new carpet, new headliner, and a reupholstered bench seat with lap belts. The dash is all nicely painted and fitted with aftermarket Classic Instrument gauges in the stock style bezel. The Vintage Air AC/Heat system blows cold and utilizes inset adjustable vents. It has a new Shiftworks floor shifter and there isn't a box in place with the thought a future owner might want to install a custom console.
This is 1 awesome pickup that was very well built. It is set up to be a great driver that shows well and as a joy to drive.
