      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/jaguar/xke/1970/listing/250789</link>
<description>1970 Jaguar XKE Roadster. DGC3031. VIN# P1R13031. This is a gorgeous car! There are 7 layers of burgundy paint on the body and it looks amazing. The engine runs and sounds awesome. I have only driven this car a short distance, but I was really impressed with how it performed. The chrome, trim, interior, exterior, engine compartment, trunk, and underside are all beautiful on this car. There isn't much that I can point out because it is in great condition. The convertible top we just replaced and it looks awesome. We also had Rich's Custom Upholstery go through the interior. They repadded the seats and freshened it up. When Rich pulled the carpets up, he found that the floor pans needed to be replaced so he did that. This is a show car now. The knock off wire wheels help set off the look of this car. This is a factory air conditioned car. Here in the Northwest it's hard to get anybody to repair air conditioning on old cars. ( I have looked at many 1970 Jaguars for sale, and only found one with power steering and no factory air. ) Another great feature is that it has power steering. How often will you see an XKE Jag, with air conditioning and power steering? The previous owner had this car in his possession for about 13 years. He is the one that did the partial restoration with the paint and chrome. He also did some extensive front end work, replaced the brakes, recored the radiator and also replaced the tires about 2,000 miles ago. He gave us a stack of receipts that go along with the car. I can't believe how nice this Jaguar is compared to others I've seen. What a stunner! Cond 2 PRICE $125,000

If you'd like to see a lot more photos about 200 photos go to our webpage dragers.com

If you would like to make the drive to Burlington to see this vehicle I think you'd really enjoy seeing Drager's Clubhouse firsthand We have a lot of interesting things on display besides cars and trucks. We have 25 display cases full of all sorts of amazing things. We have 100 motorcycles on display. Most people tell us we are like a museum.

Call Andrew 206-533-9600 to set up a day and time to come see this vehicle

      <title>1970 Jaguar XKE</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/jaguar/xke/1970/listing/233972</link>
      <description>1970 Jaguar XKE Coupe

For consignment, a 1970 Jaguar XKE 2+2 coupe with a title verified 80,912 actual miles. Here's a clean, driver condition Jag owned by our consignor for 31 years and presenting in the desirable Ascot Fawn over Biscuit.

  Exterior
A sort of green toned brown coats the legendary lines of this big cat and is aptly named Ascot Fawn. The inset headlights and gaping mouth at the front end of the long nose, is iconic as it is epic and in nice condition with surface rust and bowing of the center emblem housing on the grille as well as on the bottom side of the crossbar. The louvers on the hood add the right amount of sportiness to the grand tourer and the 15-inch chrome wire wheels carry the class end of things, here showing some patina and peeling of the plating. The twin tailpipes extend past the rear bumper and flank the license plate and in profile, the spectacular long nose is accompanied by the high sloping rear section, long before the Porsche Panamera was dreamed up to accommodate rear passengers. Scuffs on the chin, less than perfect metal trim, uneven and cracking filler on the rear valance and numerous other places, gap imperfections, scratches, rust bubbles and some rust causing paint peeling all make our list of exterior flaws.

  Interior
The lap of luxury begins with Biscuit leather, gently bathing the door panels in a simple and sophisticated design, showing a touch of patina on each but fully intact. Step over the wide, leather clad door sill and find yourself immersed in tan leather seats appearing with newer materials, finely stitched in even vertical lines, well padded and curved. The back seats are small but also covered in luxurious leather with patina and a tear. The wood steering wheel with brushed metal spokes is right at home in the car and the E-type horn button is elegant, not something we generally say about horn buttons. A large speedometer and tachometer are straight ahead and a myriad of gauges, toggle switches that are plastic but robust, and a clock occupy the center area, all looking nice. We note some detached material from the dash pad along the front rim. From the dash we move down to the leather covered center console where a stout, wood knobbed shifter sits in plastic housing in front of a leather clad console in a condition consistent with the rest of the interior. The rear hatch opens on side mounted hinges and reveals a cargo area with polished aluminum rails evenly dispersed over the length of the compartment and continuing on the back of the rear seats, a subtle and tasteful design. The plush tan carpet on the floors shows some age while the headliner and pillar treatment are a soft, fleece like material and are in very good shape.

  Drivetrain
The entire nose pivots forward to reveal a clean 4.2 liter DOHC inline six cylinder with 2 Su carburetors and a rating of 245 horsepower. It is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission sending power to the rear axle and 3.54 gears.

  Undercarriage
Driver quality conditions prevail underneath with surface rust and patina, including some flaws in the roll pan that wraps under the rear of the car. Four wheel disc brakes are onboard and independent suspension is also front and rear, with torsion bars up front and coil overs in back. The dual exhaust flows through stainless steel mufflers and resonators on their way to the tailpipes.

  Drive-Ability
There's just something special about the cockpit of an XKE and until you experience it, it's hard to describe. With a turn of the key, the six cylinder comes to life and the subtle rumble of the exhaust puts the luxury in luxury sports tourer. We roll the car onto the test loop, careful to not flog the car as the tires are 24 years old. Despite that, it runs smooth, surges forward without issue, and handles well at our lower speed. We note the clock not working but all other functions on board do, and we roll this sleek big cat back to the mall. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

Here's a drivable classic that would be an outstanding candidate for full restoration to bring it back to its former glory. Despite differing opinions of the XKE 2+2, they still turn heads and spark questions at every Cars of England show and beyond. They still retain much of the sensual shape of the standard coupe, and they are still unmistakably Jaguar.

      <title>1967 Jaguar XKE</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/jaguar/xke/1967/listing/233219</link>
<description>1967 Jaguar XKE Series 1 Roadster

For consignment, a 1967 Jaguar XKE series 1 roadster showing 68,731 miles, but the true miles are unknown. This car was completely restored in 1988 and the headlights were never covered on this late '67 car and since prior to the '68 implementation mandate, makes it a rare feature for this true Series 1 car.

  Exterior
A version in Warwick Gray, the sleek, long nose and pointed tail of this classic is iconic and timeless. The entire bonnet pivots forward and the result is a sharp and distinctive line that borders the cowl panel, bordered on the other side by the door's edge. Hood vents flank the graceful bulge on the hood that points to the oval grille opening, synonymous with Jaguar, and headlights inset in black lined, chrome trimmed cylinders. Shapes are gently mirrored in the back as the tubular chrome bumper rounds around the license plate box while exotic tail lights hug the corners, reflected in the robust chrome bumper below. Of course, those quad exhaust tips put an exclamation point on the design and a luggage rack on the boot suggests picnics in the Cotswolds rather than laps around Goodwood. 15-inch wire wheels are a must, of course, and the black canvas top is in good shape with one patch repair noted. Imperfections include some chipped paint on the exterior edge of the door sill, some splotches in the paint, some crackling by a wheel, and some rust spots on the spoke nipples and rims of the wheels.

  Interior
Smooth Navy Blue leather covers the inner doors, handle, and even the wide sills and it's all in nice condition. Bomber style bucket seats wear pleated blue leather and contrast the smooth presentation on the center console and armrest. Holes decorate the spokes of the sport steering wheel and its wooden rim which frames the glass fronted gauges ahead of the driver under a dash pad with some loose skin, but fully intact. More gauges are housed in the center console, cleanly accompanied by a row of toggles and the ignition port. Below that, a Kenwood AM/FM/Cassette player very close to the shifter housing where a small tear is noted along with a leather boot that shows patina. Plush blue carpet covers the floor along with matching mats and carpet also provides the floor of the package shelf behind the seats, with a pair of speakers nearby. The shallow but long trunk is lined with a fitted tan floor cover which shows bits of use.

  Drivetrain
Under the hood, the legendary and attractive 4.2 liter DOHC inline six cylinder producing 266 horsepower. It receives fuel through 3 Stromberg SU carburetors and is set into motion via a 4-speed manual transmission that sends power to the rear axle with 3.54 gears.

  Undercarriage
We find driver quality conditions underneath with some surface rust, oil on the rear differential that migrated down to an exhaust pipe, and some build up on the rear wheel components. There is also an area of rust and a former repair on the left belly pan. Dual exhaust flow through stock style mufflers on their way to the epic exit and disc brakes are found on all four wheels. Both front and back suspension is independent and consists of coil springs in the rear and torsion bars up front.

  Drive-Ability
The lovely exhaust tones of the 4.2 are what sports car dreams are made of and we row this gray beauty onto the test loop where we note that gears engage high on the pedal travel rather than at the low or midpoint. Beyond that, the engine runs well, the car tracks true, and handling is everything you'd expect from a high caliber British roadster. The big takeaway is that all functions on board operate as intended, although we notice the clutch is on its way out, however it is not slipping at this point, so we rolled this bit of royal goodness back to the mall. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

Series 1 Roadsters are some of the most desirable cars in the collector world and this one exemplifies beauty and performance wrapped in an amazing design. It can be mistaken for no other car and if you're the social type, just know there are Jaguar enthusiast clubs all over the world, and probably in your town. You've always dreamed about owning one and now it's time to join that exclusive group.

<description>1969 Jaguar XKE Series II Roadster

For consignment, a 1969 Jaguar XKE Series II roadster with a title verified 45,513 actual mile is now gracing our Hallowed Halls. This car was the recipient of a rotisserie nut and bolt restoration with added electric power steering, oversized wheels for better handling and an improved stance and all the proper tire tools.  Presented in a stunning dark blue with red interior, this might be the best British export since George Washington.

  Exterior
In the right light, (or wrong light), this car is dark enough to look black, but when illuminated, the two stage Indigo Blue paint is miles deep and undoubtedly, dark blue.  The classic, long hood with its bulbous quarters is accented by the hump in the center, louvers, and oval intake.  A Series I conversion has been performed on the Series II bonney and now covered headlights are at each corner, framed below by a wraparound bumper that is one with the body.  The arc of the wheel wells accent the shape of this aircraft-like car by covering the top of the tires and showcasing the oversized 15-inch wire wheels with two bar knock offs that greatly improve the stance and handling of this British cat.  The curved windscreen is born from the cowl and is slightly raked, providing a semi-enclosed space to pilot the Jag.  Rectangular tail lights highlight the tail which also has a melded, wraparound bumper, two LED reverse lights, and twin straight exhaust pipes that split the distance under the plate bracket, while the sleek trunk gently descends from the black canvas Haartz top.  Paint, metalwork, and the canvas top are all in fantastic condition and we could not find exterior imperfections.

  Interior
A breathtaking interior begins with fine red Connolly leather on the door panels, flat and neat and augmented with metal trim pieces and an inset door actuator.  Not to be outdone by the doors, the wide sill is also coated in red leather and rises to cover the inside door frame.   Low back red leather bucket seats with linear stitching are spectacular and a striking contrast to the deep blue paint.  But that's not where the leather ends!  It covers the center armrest and the entire center console all the way into the footwells.  A classic 3 spoke steering wheel with polished spokes and a wood rim, presents the driver with inviting textures.  The clean dash and clear, black faced gauges with a speedometer that circles to 160 mph and a tachometer that redlines around 5,000 rpms.  In the center, operational status gauges top a row of toggle switches with precision configuration, over a padded frame that surrounds an AM/FM radio MP3 capable retro radio.  The black knobbed shifter is wrapped in a boot of soft, black leather, another sharp contrast to the red surfaces below it.  Plush red Wilton carpet is like velvet below, topped with proper coco mats.  In the boot, a tan vinyl cut to fit mat dresses up the flat deck of the interior and sidewalls.

  Drivetrain
Under the reverse hinged hood we find a wonderfully detailed and gleaming 4.2 liter DOHC inline 6 cylinder motor, rated at 245 horsepower and fueled by three 2-barrel SU carburetors.  A 4-speed manual is on board and as a proper British sports car, sends power to the rear wheels and 3.45 gears.  Our consignor states upgrades includes the aluminum radiator and the Wilwood calipers on the 4 wheel disc brakes and electric power steering.

  Undercarriage
Clean as a fox hunt bugle, the underside is show worthy beginning with the roll pan, Indigo blue, and extending all the way to the back wheels and contouring around them.  Stainless steel resonators and mufflers then steal your eyes, shiny objects that are part of the dual exhaust system.  All linkage, boots, knuckles and other wheel components are spotless.  There are a few drops of oil on the pan and some seepage by the oil filter.  Torsion bar suspension is supplied in the front and coil over in the back.

  Drive-Ability
The legendary E-type is like sitting in a piece of rolling art and this one is a masterpiece.  The six cylinder provides a healthy sound through the dual exhaust and the car rolls onto the test loop with smooth acceleration, perfect tracking, and great handling.  It's not difficult to see why these well proportioned cars made great race cars, but you'll want to reserve this one for shows and luxury jaunts.  All operational items work as intended.  While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

In the world of collector cars, Jaguar XKE's are a top tier consideration.  It takes fine workmanship to restore one of these and judges tend to scrutinize them a bit more than your average show car, especially at the concours level.  This example presents in a wonderful color combination with many correct elements that make it a collector grade E-type.  Let's have a cup of tea and discuss your potential purchase.

      <description>1969 Jaguar XKE 2+2 Coupe

For consignment, a 1969 Jaguar XKE 2+2 coupe, midway through a restoration and spent some time in dry Arizona along the way.  Here's one you can drive and take the kids, and a decent amount of luggage or picnic baskets as well.

  Exterior
Striking Carmen Red covers our car cleanly and accentuated by metal trim that includes the pursed grille, headlight cove trim and rings, the chrome bumpers, window frame, and a spear that extends from the A-pillar to just beyond the B-pillar, broken only by the door seam.  The curved windshield is decidedly upright and starts the greenhouse that is completed with large side windows over a narrow body and a generous rear window on the side hinged hatch.  The C-pillar height on the 2+2 is taller, allowing headroom for occupants of the smaller, rear seats.  Ah, but that nose, classic E-type elongation, power bulge, gently curved fender tops, louvered hood, inset headlights over a wrap-around grin, retaining all of the enduring beauty that consistently puts XKE's on lists of the most beautiful cars ever produced.  Chrome wire wheels are the real deal here and could use some dedicated detailing to bring out their true beauty and may require rechroming of one center hub.  Other imperfections on this cat include sizable paint chips on the hood, a number of scratches, rust on the rocker panel, evidence of filler in the door jamb along with evidence of filler repair in the driver's rocker.

  Interior
Simple tan leather door panels greet occupants and show some separation of the door card on the driver's side and where the leather wraps the door actuator depression on the passenger side.  The wide leather clad door sills could use some cleaning but are in otherwise good condition.  Stitched leather bucket seats are inviting and tall, with curved backs and flat bottoms, the driver's side showing a touch of wear on the entry point.  Small low rear seats mirror the pattern and look virtually untouched.  The beautiful wood rimmed steering wheel would benefit from restoration and the cockpit-like dash panel has wonderful rows of gauges and toggle switches while the primary gauges for the driver are large and clear.  An AM radio sits just ahead of the leather knobbed shifter in a black leather boot on the tan leather center console that's topped with an armrest and bordering the robust chrome parking brake lever.  The thick pile tan carpet is soiled on the driver's side but is luxurious and clean on the passenger's footwell.  In the hatch, the floor and walls are lined in fine, tan leather and the storage surface is dressed in aluminum slats that continue on the back of the movable rear seat.

  Drivetrain
Pulling the hood up from the cowl after releasing from inside the cabin reveals the driver quality 4.2-liter DOHC inline 6 cylinder rated at 245 horsepower and fueled by two rebuilt SU carburetors.  A 4-speed manual transmission sends power to the rear wheels and 3.54 gears while disc brakes are found front and rear.

  Undercarriage
Driver quality underneath although the stainless steel mufflers and chrome tips provide glimmering tidbits of cleanliness for the dual exhaust.  Surface rust is mostly reserved for the front cradle and a build up of grease is observed on the wheel and suspension components.  Oil is noted on the rear differential, oil pan, and transmission pan, and we note areas of overspray.  A bit of invasive and flaking rust is seen on a belly pan near a body mount and seems to be isolated in this area.  Torsion bar suspension is provided up front while coil overs are equipped on the rear independent suspension.

  Drive-Ability
The inline six purrs to life and we look out over the long nose and point it to the ramp to our test route.  The car feels and sounds wonderful and has noticeable power on tap.  The brakes and other important features all seem to work and our report notes the rear tail lights and brake lights are not working and the heater blower is not functioning.

Among the most revered classics, Jaguar E-types have enjoyed an enthusiastic following and active club participation throughout the world.  2+2's have seen an increase in interest as perhaps more attainable members of XKE family, providing all of the classic parts of the marque and adding an intriguing twist in body lines and interior capacity.
