This 1988 Mazda RX-7 from North Carolina features the desirable 5-speed manual transmission, and the odometer currently displays about 30,700 miles	A partial list of notable equipment reported by the seller includes 15-inch BBS wheels, pop-up headlights, a power-operated soft top, perforated leather interior, and headrest speakers. The seller reports no notable modifications.	The second-generation FC RX-7 was introduced in 1985 and was designed as less of a tightly focused sports car than its predecessor, opting instead to target contemporary grand tourers like the Porsche 944 and Nissan 300ZX. Mazda took considerable effort to ensure the RX-7 convertible retained the coupe's driving experience, including fitting an aluminum hood for weight savings and the Turbo version's larger brake rotors for added stopping power.	Power comes from a 1.3-liter rotary engine, rated at 146 horsepower and 138 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.EquipmentA partial list of notable equipment reported by the seller includes:	15-inch BBS wheels	Power-operated soft top	Pop-up headlights	Perforated leather upholstery	Speakers in the headrestsRecent Service HistoryThe attached Carfax history report shows that the following services have been performed:	August 2025: Fuel pump replacedAdditional service history is detailed in the attached Carfax report and available upon request.Other Items Included in Sale	1 key	Owner's manuals	Service records	Center cap removal key

Hot example of one of the most desirable Classic Sports Cars on the road !1988 RX7 Convertible Custom Widebody.... Outrageous handling , Real Drivers Car, Car ( Trust me .. I am an EX FORMULA FORD Race Car Driver....55 Races) and believe me , THIS car is Never Boring...Never stops putting a real smile on my face ! The Real Problem with this car ( ready? ) is trying to get out of a gas station, shopping center, WaWa, etc. without being accosted by admiring crowds of people asking questions , taking pictures, honking horns and giving me Thumbs Up !..I once had a Pennsylvania State Police car, up in the Poconos, pull me over to see the car ( he used the excuse that it was a ' routine sobriety test' .. smelled my breath ( I don't drink) and proceeded to spend 5 minutes asking me about my car !!...I bought the car immaculate in 2000 and have had a 22 year Love Affair ! It is on its 2nd New Motor ( many mods plus HP Apex Seals which are good for at least 150,000 miles ).. I always purchase high performance upgrades rather than Original Manufacturer , that I get from the RX7 King of Upgrades....RACING BEAT in Calif. ...During the last 25K to 45K miles ago, I did a complete Trans/ Diff Overhaul and installed New HP Front Struts and KYB AGX ADJ. Shocks at all 4 wheels... and then in June 2017 to March 2018 I personally did a complete Exterior/Interior CUSTOM MODIFICATION of the complete car.. I purchased after market DURAFLEX Fiberglass Widebody Panels for the COMPLETE Front End and Rear Quarter Panels as well as an all aluminum Turbo Hood... and then for the next 9 months I proceed to rebuild the car( myself) from the ground up ! ( the only things original are the 2 doors and trunk ). When the body was done , it was off to the paint shop for fine tuning of my sculpturing and then the new color ---2007 to 2009 Corvette Atomic Orange... then put everything together that was stripped for painting...then off to the upholstery shop to get a new Convertible Top...
