      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/plymouth/barracuda/1965/listing/248653</link>
<description>1965 Plymouth Barracuda. Very clean car with 273ci engine and 4 speed manual transmission. Runs great! - According to the fender tag it was originally an automatic but the original owner sent it back to Plymouth to get the 4spd manual transmission installed by the factory. So that's a cool upward modification from the factory and can still be considered all original. - Also has the original gold bucket seats but the exterior paint that's matte black with gold stripe has been repainted to the way it is now and it looks great. They didnt replace the tag after painting. - Has original AC/Heat and radio. Comes with extra back glass, side mirrors, rear view mirror, chrome trimmings. - Great original classic car ready to go. <description>1965 Plymouth Barracuda SS made late in the year It came with a 1966 title for it. It has the 65 body style. This is a numbers matching car. .Has the new Formula S package which included an upgraded 273 V-8 engine good for 235 hp....Factory 4-Speed..more powerful then the commonly ordered 1965 Mustang's 289 V8 of 225 hp... Has a factory Tachometer in it . on the left side of the dash..Next to the Speedmeter,And it reads 26,775 Orignial miles..Not sure if it's a roll over or not.(the kar was never rolled over, not even bumped on the 4 corners.has been rode hard and had the Dog Shti run outta it a few times)But still has plenty of life left init...Or even if it's a Super Sport..But the old man down the road said it was..The rear bumper is being cleaned and polished and will be put on the car soon..The under side has been under Coated a few times .And this saved it from heavy rust over the years...The under side A frame is being painted frame black at this time.. Runs and drives good. The Clutch and Transmission work good..Comes with a Drag Racing 'Parachute' on the back if you wanna Drag Race it.(maybe you can use the Parachute for Sky Diving as well)(ifya own a air plane).New paint, New tires. <title>1968 Plymouth Barracuda</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/plymouth/barracuda/1968/listing/238480</link>
<description>INTRODUCTION: Rotisserie restored, thoroughly detailed, and expertly dialed in. This is a rare Formula S Barracuda powered by the Super Commando 383 big block. Only 1,120 Barracudas were built with the 383, and just 395 of those were fastbacks equipped with an automatic transmission. The engine and transmission carry matching numbers, and the original fender tag remains in place. Plymouth's entry in the pony car wars, this Barracuda competed directly with the Camaro and Mustang-but with unmistakable Mopar attitude.

EXTERIOR: The fastback roofline gives this car a sleek, aggressive profile, and the execution is outstanding. The body is absolutely laser straight with no signs of rust or damage. Panel fit is exceptional, gaps are precise, and the doors close with a solid, factory-fresh feel. Repainted in its original Ember Gold, the finish is better than new with a deep, show-quality gloss that lays out like glass. Signature Formula S details include chrome hood inserts, pop-up gas cap, and correct fender emblems. Chrome is mint, stainless trim is beautifully polished, and the grille and tail panel present like new. Weatherstripping and seals have been replaced, and a new windshield has been installed. It sits on body-color steel wheels with poverty caps wrapped in new reproduction redline tires, complemented by sporty side stripes that complete the authentic muscle-era look.

INTERIOR: The interior presents like new. Premium Legendary upholstery and door panels have been installed, delivering factory-correct appearance with modern freshness. The dash area is outstanding-gauges, knobs, trim, and dash pads all look pristine. Originally a radio-delete car, it now features a discreet modern stereo mounted below the dash. The original console between the bucket seats is in excellent condition, and the rear seat folds flat, creating the practical 2+2 layout unique to these fastbacks. The deluxe steering wheel has been restored to like-new condition, and the interior lighting is fully functional.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood is the original VIN-matching Super Commando 383 (300 hp), professionally rebuilt with tasteful performance upgrades. Enhancements include a hotter camshaft, aluminum intake manifold, 750 Holley carburetor, electronic ignition, and Jet-Hot–coated headers. The compartment is highly detailed-every component looks fresh and properly installed. It features a reproduction Mopar battery secured correctly, along with the proper radiator, shroud, clamps, and hardware. The fender tag remains attached and corresponds to the car. The inner fenders and sheet metal are finished as nicely as the exterior, resulting in a show-quality engine bay.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The trunk area is equally well finished. The underside of the lid, jambs, and interior surfaces are painted with a smooth, glossy finish. Beneath the mat is a matching painted wheel fitted with a redline tire. A new mat and weatherstrip have been installed. The folding rear seat allows access from the trunk into the cabin.

UNDERSIDE: The restoration included a full rotisserie process-every component was removed, restored or replaced, and reinstalled. The floors are pristine metal, properly prepped and painted in Ember Gold. The Formula S ride-and-handling package has been fully rebuilt, including suspension front and rear, upgraded with Koni gas shocks at all four corners. The steering system has been rebuilt, and the brake system is completely renewed, featuring four-piston front disc brakes. The parking brake system is fully functional. The fuel system-including tank and lines-has been replaced. A stainless exhaust system with X-pipe is installed. The underside of the engine is spotless, with components such as the starter appearing new. The 727 Torqueflite automatic transmission has been rebuilt and fitted with a shift kit and 2,500-rpm stall converter. The driveshaft has been rebuilt with new U-joints. Out back is the durable 8¾ rear end with 3.23 Sure Grip gears.

SERVICE: We performed a thorough inspection, and the car passed with flying colors. Only minor rattles required attention-otherwise, it proved to be well sorted and ready to enjoy.

CONCLUSION: This Barracuda comes from a meticulous owner whose vehicles are consistently maintained at showroom standards and mechanically dialed in. It is an exceptional example-rare, beautifully restored, and highly desirable. The next owner will be acquiring one of the standout Formula S cars on the market and is sure to be extremely pleased.

      <title>1967 Plymouth Barracuda</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/plymouth/barracuda/1967/listing/238017</link>
<description>Rotisserie restored. I bought 2 Mopar's from a collector, he was very particular with both. It is dialed in and makes a great driver. A thick stack of documentation is included from a wiring diagram to the paint formula.

EXTERIOR: This is a good looking body style you won't see at every car show! It is clean, straight metal that fits right. The door handles were shaved, doors open by remote, and they close like a new car. The fiberglass Super Stock scooped hood with racing pins and those fat Mickey Thompson tires in back is how this Barracuda shows its teeth! The Prowler Orange paint is polished like glass. There are a few flaws if you look for them. Upfront the bumper and grille look great. In back the bumper is shiny and the tail panel is impressive. The windshield and rear window were replaced. The 15 inch Weld Racing wheels are wearing some wide sneakers.

INTERIOR: The pearl white interior is very refreshing. The upholstery fits snug on the recushioned seats. The armrest is a very comfortable feature. The door panels and armrests were replaced. Overhead is a crisp white headliner and visors. Down on the floor is sound deadener under the carpet and a slapstick shifter to bang those gears with. The dash is decked out with a new dash pad, Sport Comp gauges, GPS speedometer, custom heater controls, and a 12 volt receptacle. There's a Custom Autosound stereo system with an amp, kick panel speakers and 6x9s in back. And upgraded fuse panel and most of the wiring was replaced. The metal trim was color matched to the exterior.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It's looking good in here! At the center of it all is a performance built 400 bored .010 over with an Edelbrock intake, dual feed Holley 750 carb, MSD ignition system and a set of headers. It's dressed really sharp with a chrome air cleaner and Super Commando pie tin, aluminum valve covers with body color in between the fins and on the intake. The front of the motor has billet bracket and pulleys with serpentine belt. It runs cool with an aluminum water pump, overflow bottle and upgraded radiator with electric fans. It's a clutterless engine bay with clean metal painted glossy like the body.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The trunk pops open by remote and inside is finished really sharp. Under the trunk lid and the jamb is painted slick. Inside has sound deadener under the custom cut carpet with bound edges. The battery is relocated to the trunk and has a built-in tender.

UNDERSIDE: It was flipped on a rotisserie and restored just as pretty underneath! All clean metal floors painted body color. Frame rails were welded in, it looks like they were put there at the factory. The front suspension and steering were completely rebuilt. In back the springs, bushings and shocks were replaced. Tubular traction bars were added. A great sounding custom dual exhaust has an x-pipe and the factory style chrome tips. The brakes were redone, lines were replaced, e-brake assembly is hooked up and it was upgraded with disc in the front. Looking up at the motor it has an extra capacity oil pan and a high torque starter. It's hooked up to a performance built 727 Torqueflite automatic trans with manual valve body, shift kit and external oil cooler. In back is an 8 3/4 rear end with 3.55 Sure Grip gears.

SERVICE: We thoroughly inspect our cars. We adjusted the carburetor and the choke, gave it in oil change, replaced the shocks and steering wheel.

CONCLUSION: I was drawn to its uniqueness. Once I noticed the quality I was impressed. After meeting the owner, I knew I had to buy it!

      <title>1968 Plymouth Barracuda</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/plymouth/barracuda/1968/listing/233974</link>
<description>1968 Plymouth Barracuda Formula S Fastback Tribute

For consignment, a 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Formula S fastback tribute showing 81,643 miles, but the true miles are unknown. Born with a 318, but now housing a 340ci V8, the engine and other upgrades pay homage to the legendary Mopar performance version of the Barracuda, the Formula S.

  Exterior
Bathed in newer two stage Sable White, our fastback is also adorned with contrasting dark red rocker stripes. Though the face of the Barracuda was changed over the years, the second generation still presents a distinctive front with wide set headlights housed in individual grille sections surrounded by metal and plastic bezels. The hood inserts are for appearance only and don't vent to the engine and using such ornamental items was common on cars of the era while the hood mounted turn indicators are functional. The Barracuda script emblem is on the fender over the iconic Formula S plate and 14-inch body matched steel wheels and dog dish hubcaps are wrapped in 205/70R14 tires with a mid2024 date code. We cast our net rearward and catch the sharply sloping rear window, an objectively beautiful design when viewing the profile of the car. The tail is encircled by polished trim that continues around the small tail lights augmented by the band of red that connects them, perfectly coordinated with the side racing stripes. Imperfections include paint that is not perfectly smooth on the hood and other horizontal surfaces, paint runs under the tail light section and rear valance, and uneven filler surrounding the exhaust cutouts.

  Interior
Simple red door cards include a vinyl panel under the dark red metal header and bottom section, contrasting the outer white. Inside, the red vinyl bucket seats look like they left the Hamtramck, Michigan plant yesterday, tall and wearing headrests and the back bench matches the condition. A wood rimmed three spoke steering wheel offers itself to the driver leading to an instrument cluster that shows some age with slight discoloration but benefits from a central tachometer flanked by the 150 mph speedometer and condition gauges. The center dash area contains the A/C panel and AM radio. On the open floor and stunning red loop carpet, you'll find a tall Hurst shifter rising from the transmission tunnel. Barracuda embroidered red carpet mats add a nice touch and help protect the base carpet while the red headliner is high and tight. The trunk floor is clean and protected by a vinyl plaid mat.

   Drivetrain
Tucked in the engine bay is a 340ci V8 with a 4-barrel carburetor, red valve covers, and a brake power booster. It's backed by an A833 4-speed manual transmission that routes power to the 8 ¾ " rear with 3.55 gears and SureGrip. The engine also features a newer water pump, fuel pump, and sending unit, as well as the usual tune up items.

  Undercarriage
We've got clean conditions underneath with minimal surface rust and a dry environment. The dual exhaust travels through Xlerator mufflers on their way to square tips that fit the valance. As noted, power assisted brakes are onboard with front disc and rear drums and suspension consists of torsion bar up front and leaf springs in the back.

  Drive-Ability
A decent greenhouse welcomes occupants into the red room that is the cabin and the 340 comes to life with a prime of the carb and a turn of the key. Factory Formula S Barracuda's were rated at 275 horsepower and we don't have a dyno, but can attest to good power here and brisk acceleration. Braking is on point and tracking and handling make the car a pleasure to drive. We note the heater/AC blower is not working but all other functional items operate as they should. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

Here's the rare opportunity to obtain a transformed Barracuda in Formula S guise. The unique shape is one that attracts car lovers like sharks to chum, so act quickly if this one interests you. Talk about a trophy fish! You'll be reeling in lots of wins with this one and won't have to exaggerate about your swimmingly good looks.

      <title>1972 Plymouth Barracuda</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/plymouth/barracuda/1972/listing/196861</link>
      <description>1972 Plymouth Hemi Cuda
With the arrival of the mid sixties car design started changing quite a bit and the "pony cars" were king. Chrysler had a few entries into the ring and under the Plymouth wing introduced the iconic Barracuda. They were produced from 1964 to 1974 with the first generation being built on the Chrysler A-body platform and sharing a majority of bodywork with the Plymouth Valiant. This was also the case for the second generation but in the 3rd, which arrived in 1970, the Barracuda was giving the dedication it deserved with its totally own look. It was now based on the E-body which was exclusively shared between the Cuda and the Dodge Challenger. This generation only lasted until 1974 when the Barracude name was dropped but in those short years they cemented their place in the Mopar history books. In 1972 they received a new grill, 4 rounded taillights and the bumpers were also redesigned to fall in line with current safety standards. These cars have turned out to be wildly popular among collectors and Mopars continue to break records every year across the auction block. This very cool 1972 Plymouth started life as a base 'Cuda but has been completely gone through and meticulously rebuilt to transform it into something that's 1 of a kind. It was a full frame off build that took around 7 years to complete. The inspiration was drag cars from the 70s/80s and was a design that with countless hours and dollars invested was achieved perfectly. The car has never seen the track but isn't just a tribute to looks because should you want to go that route, it was built to handle it. In this vintage of Mopar they were known for their bright colors and this one wears a beautiful Hemi Orange with a slight metal flake that has an excellent shine. The body panels are all solid, straight, and all rust free. It has the 'Cuda hood which incorporates dual scoops trailing off into the dual cowl vents. The Black grill has a unique double opening and it also has a painted Black panel in rear for the iconic rounded taillights that seem to be among the favorite designs in the 'Cuda fandom. The tinted glass is in great condition throughout and is free of any damage or issues. The car has an aggressive stance to let you know it means business and rides on 1970 Shelby 500 4x15in front slotted wheels with 5 inch drag tires and 1970 Shelby 500 4x15in aluminum slotted rear rims with 15x14x31in Mickey Thompson street drag radials.
If the wheels and tires weren't enough to clue you in then surely the presence of the rear wheelie bar let you know it is packing a bit more than its stock 318 V8 under the hood. It is now propelled forward by a professionally built blue printed all aluminum Indy Max 528 Hemi motor. Dropping in a Hemi fits the car perfectly but this isn't just some off the shelf crate. This motor was assembled by an expert craftsman who insured from top to bottom things were done right. It runs very strong with an estimated 710 horsepower and the reaction of popping the hood to reveal a great looking Hemi is always appreciated at shows. Check out the following table to get an idea of the components incorporated into the drivetrain. There is so much going on that it is certain we have left something out. However you can rest assured that any thing used on it was new and top of the line.
See the photos for a detailed table breaking it all down.
As you can tell this was not thrown together car but a meticulously detailed and planned high end build. The car sounds amazing through TTI full length ceramic coated 2 1/4 in headers into Max Flo stainless steel mufflers. It delivers exactly what you want to hear when you to turn the key. Cooling is provided via the new aluminum Summit radiator with aluminum radiator shroud, and a Summit high volume electric fan. Paired with the motor is a complete Tremec 5 speed kit for a Hemi Cuda along with an aluminum flywheels, steel bell housing, dual disc ram clutch and hydraulic kit. From there power is transferred back through the aluminum Tremec drive shaft to the narrowed rear end with 4:10 gears and sure grip locker.During the build it also received all new chassis bushings, all new 4 wheel disc brakes, new Mopar leaf springs, NYK adjustable drag shocks, Summit rear air shocks, weld on Slide a Link ladder bars, new Year One wiring harness, new steering box and so much more. Nothing has been left untouched. It has also been strengthened throughout with things like a rear end housing strengthener so the car can handle its new found horsepower.
Just as much love and attention was shown to the interior where you will see that same vintage drag strip them continued in things like the 6 point Weld roll cage. The upholstery work is all Black and in good condition throughout. It has high back front bucket seats and both front/rear seats have G-Force 5 point racing seat belts. The seat cover and headliner were all new from Year One. Through the floor is a new pistol grip Tremec shifter which moves through the gears with ease. The dash on the car is new from Paddock and eliminates any AC openings. All the components were also replaced with a combo of parts from Year One, Paddock, and Moparts. The gauges are all working and it has an added Auto Meter Street tachometer. The trunk of the car is all finished out and houses the relocated battery in a Taylor aluminum case.
This is really a car you need to review in detail to truly appreciate. This Mopar would make a great addition to any collection especially at a fraction of the build price. It comes with a detailed auto appraisal valuing it at $155,000 and when you start to look it over it becomes apparent that the amount invested likely exceeds even that.
Hop in this thing and go for $112,000.00!
NOW REDUCED DOWN TO $98,000.00!
