      <title>1963 Plymouth Fury</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/plymouth/fury/1963/listing/237750</link>
<description>Rotisserie restored and fast! This Max Wedge convertible is a clone of a car that is impossible to find, because they only produced a handful of them from the factory. This one has a professionally built 512 stroker engine that produced a stout 656 horsepower on the Dynometer. It received a very high quality and detailed rotisserie restoration and was wonderfully preserved since then. This one is so precise; nobody will be able to tell the difference between it and an original!

EXTERIOR: I'm in love with the color combination! Said to be stripped down to bare metal; the Ermine White paint was applied with great attention to detail followed by a good polish to a smooth and slick finish. All the panels have been painstakingly aligned with awesome gaps that are very consistent. The doors close easily with minimal effort. The front hood scoop just looks flat out tough. The power white vinyl convertible top is in great shape and works well. The windshield was replaced and most of the side glass looks original, the rubber seals and fuzzy strips were replaced. The front grill looks to be original as well as the bumper, they are both in great condition. The taillights are beautiful and unique, and I absolutely love the fat 3" dual exhaust pipes coming out the back. Its sitting on a nice set of Cragar SS 15" wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.

INTERIOR: This two-tone red and white interior really pops against the Ermine white exterior. I love the recovered low back bucket seats and original looking center console that has built-in storage, astray and cigarette lighter. The rear seat was also recovered with matching upholstery. The dashpad is not cracked and the visors have been recovered. The gauge cluster is both beautiful and nostalgic and very attractive to look at with a unique vintage font. The oblong steering wheel and push button transmission are some of my favorite features ever on a car. The door panels have also been refinished with matching upholstery and look great. All the chrome has a bright and shiny finish. The builder added a vintage Moroso tachometer to the column and a triple gauge cluster under the dash to monitor the vitals.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Professionally built! A 440 was bored .040", stroked and Dyno tested at 656 hp and 662 lbs of torque! The now 512 cubic inch Max Wedge engine looks stock and is equipped with a Mopar cross-ram intake, Max wedge exhaust manifolds, Edelbrock 800 cfm carbs, forged crankshaft, forged connecting rods, flat top pistons, solid roller camshaft (.650" exhaust lift and 303° duration), Indy cylinder heads, full roller timing chain and much more. Everything is fresh and clean with neatly applied Hemi Orange paint. All the hoses, wires and belts look like new. The battery is properly secured; master cylinder upgraded to a dual reservoir. The radiator looks fresh, and the horns are hooked up too. The underside of the hood is cut out just like the factory did to accommodate the dual quads. The fender wells and firewall have all been painted slick just like the body.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The underside of the trunk lid and jamb have been painted body color. A reproduction sticker was added. The weatherstrip was replaced. Inside the trunk has all been nicely painted and boxed. It's equipped with a full size spare, rubber trunk mat, and jack assembly. Under the mat is all clean rust free metal that has been painted white.

UNDERSIDE: Spotless and gorgeous! All the components have been replaced or rebuilt. The steering and suspension all look fresh. It was upgraded with Gas-A-Just shocks all the way around. It has a front disc brake conversion, and the emergency brake is hooked up and it has new hardware too. The fuel tank was also replaced, and it now has an electronic external pump. Looking up at the engine is neatly painted Hemi Orange and has a huge extra capacity oil pan. The rebuilt 727 Torqueflite automatic transmission has a high stall converter and a manual valve body. It has a limited slip 8 3/4" rear end with 3.55 gears. The floorboards and frame rails are all pristine rust free metal that were painted the same color as the body.

SERVICE: Our shop manager thoroughly inspected this car and we adjusted the idle speed, lubricated the tachometer cable, rebuilt the blower switch, ran new blower wiring, replaced the horn relay, and repaired the brake lights.

CONCLUSION: Here it is folks, one of the rarest of rare Mopars ever! You can have all the aesthetics of the original, with highly improved performance for a small fraction of the price, and nobody will ever know the difference. Your secret is safe with me! This restoration would cost far more than we are asking, it is a great value.

      <title>1959 Plymouth Fury</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/plymouth/fury/1959/listing/229344</link>
<description>1959 Plymouth Sport Fury 2 Door Hardtop

For consignment, a 1959 Plymouth Sport Fury hardtop showing 74,009 miles, but the true miles are unknown. Retaining its epic lines and over the top fins, this one presents as a diamond in the rough and while just one year from the Christine movie car, this one still harkens back to that now iconic car. And while Christine had a mind of her own, her cousin here will need some outside intervention to bring her up to par.

  Exterior
The design is eye catching, and this one wears a tattered dress of Flame Red replete with a patina that you could clearcoat and call it a day! A white insert between bold polished trim travels the length of the car, also in rough shape but straight, with plenty of real estate above this center trim feature. The front edge points sharply forward, creating a sculpted brow over what Plymouth called floating headlights, then the straight shoulder line runs all the way to the back window where it is met by a rising fin that takes off like Evel Knievel at the Snake River Canyon, then turns 90 degrees downward, like Evel, in a bladed vertical rear edge. The rear fascia is a conglomeration of curved panels, protruding oval tail light housing, and an enveloping massive rear bumper, while the huge curved rear window creates an interior greenhouse. Surface rust, scratches, scuffs, filler, bubbling, and some true rust of the lower chrome trim and rear quarters are all part of this project Sport Fury.

  Interior
One door panel is in place, a mix of red and white vinyl bands with lots of age, but the driver's side is missing and its chrome header is rusted. We meet the red vinyl bucket seats with white piping and center armrest are in decent condition, slightly discolored but fully intact and the rear bench is very nice, flanked by rusted chrome headers on the sidewalls. The acrylic steering wheel with brown center grips has yellowed with age and the full horn ring is in place with decorative bullet accents. The space age dash is a wild design, based in black framing, the speedometer panel is reminiscent of Robot from Lost In Space and flanked by two rows of long push buttons that control the transmission on the left and the climate controls on the right, backed by a textured metal panel, all with substantial patina. To the right, a padded dash cover is above the AM radio, a clock, and the glove box, all in consistent condition. Red loop carpet covers the floor and heavily faded in most areas and underneath we note a newer floor pan added to the passenger side. A button backed white headliner is tired, but incredibly fancy and deserved a comeback! The trunk is barren and shows some dampness intrusion.

  Drivetrain
Despite the tattered hood insulator, the 350ci V8 under the hood is amazingly clean and is topped by an Edelbrock 4-barrel under the air cleaner canister. Behind it, a Powerflite 2-speed automatic routes power to 3.31 gears in back. Drum brakes are employed on all four wheels.

  Undercarriage
The underside is covered with surface rust and flaking, invasive rust in some places. There's a build up of grime on the rear differential, frame, and other areas. That said, the gas tank appears to be newer as do the rear shocks. Dual exhaust encounters FlowMaster mufflers and eventually find their way to the rear to exit under the car. Suspension consists of torsion bars in front and leaf springs in the back.

  Drive-Ability
Long and low was the direction of design as the 50's transitioned to the 60's and this 1959 exemplifies that, but it's still a massive automobile. There's lots of metal surrounding us as we roll the Sport Fury onto the tarmac, enjoying the clear view of its F15 like tail. There's decent power but we note the front suspension will need attention. In addition, the radio and clock are not working. All other functional items operate as they should and we fly this one back to the carrier. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

Here's 17 feet of pure rocket styling. Six and half feet wide, dramatic is an understatement. It was in many ways regarded as ground breaking and unique and is unquestionably one of the iconic classics of the late 50's. This one needs a willing partner and as David Wilcox sings in Rusty Old American Dream: "I rolled off the line in Detroit back in 1958, spent three days in the showroom, that's all I had to wait, I've been good to all who owned me, so have no fear, come on, boy, put your money down, and get me outta here".
