      <title>1967 Pontiac GTO</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/pontiac/gto/1967/listing/251780</link>
<description>INTRODUCTION: I'll be honest with you- it was the look and the sound of this GTO that first drew me in. But once I got up close, the true quality of the car became apparent, it has only 400 miles on the body off frame restoration finished in 2022. Then I learned it has factory air conditioning, and came with Pontiac Historical Services documentation. At that point, I knew I had to have it!

EXTERIOR: This GTO is a real stunner, and the combination of colors and wheels sets it apart immediately. The body is laser straight from front to back, including those long, dramatic Coke bottle quarter panels that define the era. I don't see any signs of rust or damage, and the panels line up beautifully throughout. Even the doors open and close with the solid feel of a new car. Repainted in its original Tyrol Blue, the metallic finish is laid out evenly, while the clear coat has been polished smooth as glass. All of the chrome and trim are straight, bright, and sparkle beautifully against the blue paint. The unique wire mesh grille used on the 1967 models gives the front end a distinctive and aggressive personality. The jambs are painted clean, the weatherstrips have all been replaced, and the vinyl top looks brand new. Both the front and rear glass have been replaced as well. Completing the look is a set of reproduction redline tires wrapped around vintage style Hurst wheels, a combination that absolutely puts this GTO over the top.

INTERIOR: It is wonderfully nostalgic, having been restored back to 100% factory condition. Slide behind the wheel and you're instantly transported to 1967. One of the coolest features is the iconic Hurst Dual/Gate shifter mounted in the center console, a signature muscle car touch that adds both style and function. Fresh carpet fits nicely on the floor, and it comes complete with a full set of GM seat belts. The seats have good cushion and have been fully reupholstered, while the door panels and armrests have also been replaced. The dash area is especially clean and well preserved, showing no signs of abuse. It features a new dash pad along with the proper woodgrain insert, and the original radio remains in place. The interior lights are working, including the glove box light, where you'll also find a new glove box liner. Out back, the rear mesh speaker tray has been replaced, along with a nice tight fitting headliner overhead. The original steering wheel does have a couple of typical cracks, but otherwise this interior captures the look and feel of a fresh 1967 GTO beautifully.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood is the correct 400, properly date coded and stamped for the car. It has reportedly been rebuilt internally to H.O. specs and has a factory stock appearance on the outside. It retains the correct manifolds, and carb, along with fresh factory style valve covers and air cleaner assembly, giving the engine a detailed presentation. The pulleys, brackets, wires, and hoses all appear proper and fresh, showing careful attention to detail throughout. This is also a factory air conditioned car, and the system is functional for added comfort on warm days. Power steering makes cruising easy and enjoyable, while the stock cooling system keeps the engine running as it should. Finishing touches include a Delco battery topper, reproduction spring clamp battery cables, and a properly secured battery. Even the windshield washer squirters are hooked up, and all the metal finishes throughout the engine bay are painted and detailed very nicely.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The underside of the trunk lid is nicely painted and detailed, complete with the proper decals, a clean latch assembly, and a neatly finished jamb area. The weatherstrip has also been replaced and the ¼ panel part numbers are still visible. Inside, the trunk features clean solid metal along with a reproduction mat and the wiring appears to have been replaced as well.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame for a thorough restoration, bringing the underside back to factory new condition. The floors are pristine original metal, beautifully detailed and finished in a smooth semi-gloss black. The chassis was prepped and painted to match, and the steering and suspension have been completely rebuilt and detailed. It features a factory correct Gardner exhaust system with correct staggered size mufflers and resonators in the tailpipes. The brake system has been fully redone, including new lines and e-brake cables. The fuel system has also been replaced, including the tank. Looking up at the engine, it has a very fresh, proper appearance, complete with the correct starter. It is paired with its original 1967 Turbo 400 automatic transmission, and a restored driveshaft leads back to the original rear end with nice cruising gears.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell.

CONCLUSION: Yes, there are other Pontiac GTOs out there, but they aren't this one! The Tyrol Blue paint, paired with redline tires wrapped around vintage style Hurst wheels, gives this car a look that truly sets it apart from the crowd. Add in the sound of the exhaust, which is pure music to any muscle car enthusiast, and this GTO becomes something special. The quality of the frame-off restoration alone goes a long way toward justifying the asking price. When you factor in the factory air conditioning, documentation, and standout appearance, everything else about it makes this one a no-brainer.

      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/pontiac/gto/1967/listing/251027</link>
<description>INTRODUCTION: A dream come true! You got the right colors, the right engine, and the right year. #'s matching high output 400 cubic inch V8. This car is highly optioned and restored back to factory condition. Only 1500 miles on the highly detailed, frame off rotisserie restoration! Also has great documentation with the PHS paperwork included. Can you feel the wind in your hair already?

EXTERIOR: Factory color! The Tryol Blue paint has been expertly applied with a high level of quality and attention to detail. The finish is glossy, reflective and very smooth to the touch. The dual side pinstripes are painted on by hand. The panels have all been wonderfully aligned with great consistent gaps that are spot on. All the glass has been replaced plus they have new rubber seals and fuzzy strips too. Both the bumpers and all remaining bright work look like new with a mirror like shine. It features an optional remote mirror and the sporty looking power antenna. It also has the correct T3 headlights and the mesh grilles are absolutely spotless.

INTERIOR: The pearl white interior not only looks cool-it stays cool, making a big difference on those hot sunny days. It's been completely redone with reproduction upholstery, door panels, and armrests, along with fresh carpet. It's full of desirable factory features like the iconic dual-gate, "his and hers" shifter in the center console. The dash has been restored and is complemented by a beautiful deluxe steering wheel on a tilt column. A full set of rally gauges keeps everything in check. Other options include power top and power antenna controls, along with a factory AM/FM radio. It also has the lamp group, reproduction floor mats, and a full set of factory seat belts. Finished off very nicely, this interior offers both comfort and classic style.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Picture perfect! At the heart of this car is its original, #s matching 400 H.O rated at 360hp. It features factory Ram Air exhaust manifolds, 670 heads, and an open element air cleaner. The entire assembly has been restored to factory specifications. It's well optioned with power steering, power brakes featuring a cadmium-plated booster, and the lamp group. Everything is complete and proper including the horns, secured battery, and fully, dust shields, and hooked up washer system. All metal surfaces are neatly painted for a clean, authentic appearance. It's been upgraded with an aluminum radiator.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Properly outfitted! The underside of the trunk lid is painted glossy just like the exterior. Additionally it includes reproduction jack stickers and a functioning light. Inside the jamb is painted to the same high quality and the weatherstrip was replaced. Inside is all rust free solid steel with a durable splatter finish paint. It is complete with a vinyl trunk mat, spare tire cover, spare tire, and jack assembly.

UNDERSIDE: The body was lifted off the frame and mounted on a rotisserie so the underside could be restored to the same high standard as the top. The floors are pristine metal, finished in the same Tyrol Blue as the exterior and clear coated for a show quality presentation. The entire chassis was completely disassembled, prepped, painted, and rebuilt. That includes the steering and suspension, while the entire brake system was replaced and has front disc brakes. It has the correct factory style dual exhaust system, complete with staggered size mufflers, resonators, and optional tips. The fuel system was replaced, including the gas tank. Looking up at the engine, everything appears clean and fresh, including the fuel pump and starter. It retains its original Turbo 400 automatic transmission with the 1967 tag still on the side. In back is the original 3.55 Safe-T-Track rear end with correct codes and dates.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell.

CONCLUSION: From a longtime, passionate owner who took great pride in its restoration! He loved this car, it took a month for him to let it go. #s matching, PHS documented, loaded with factory options, and finished in fantastic colors. What are you waiting for?

      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/pontiac/gto/1966/listing/248557</link>
<description>1966 Pontiac GTO convertible tribute car. It started as a LeMans but now looks like a GTO with all the badging, hood, wheels, grill lamps, etc.… It starts right up every time, runs, and drives excellently! It’s a joy to drive. It has a 326 4bbl carb and a dual exhaust that sounds great, although one of the tips is missing. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly. Power steering and power brakes make driving easy, and the power convertible top goes up and down with the push of a button. The body, frame, floors, and trunk are all in good shape, and the bright red paint shines beautifully. The convertible top is new and in perfect condition. The interior is also in great shape: buckets, seats with a center console, and the Rally dash/gauges. Overall, it’s a great car that gets much attention wherever it goes. It's always fun to drive and goes down the road nicely. It's reliable and has enough power to get around in modern traffic. It's not a perfect show or museum car, but you can get in, turn the key, drop the top, and enjoy the wind in your hair! <title>1965 Pontiac GTO</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/pontiac/gto/1965/listing/238455</link>
<description>INTRODUCTION: Just finished a meticulous body off frame restoration! This 1965 GTO is far more than just beautifully detailed - it was rebuilt to be driven and enjoyed. Beneath its show quality presentation lies a true powerhouse, restored with performance and reliability in mind. Best of all, it's the real deal, documented by Pontiac Historical Services.

EXTERIOR: The body fit and finish is amazing! Every square inch is straight and polished like glass. The gaps are square, doors shut like new. Repainted GM light blue metallic basecoat with a glossy clearcoat, even the jambs are slick. The chrome and stainless sparkles, the weatherstrips were replaced, the windshield and rear window are new too. It's looking like the muscle car that it is, sitting on nostalgic Torque Thrust wheels and extra fat tires in back.

INTERIOR: Completely restored from carpet to headliner! Down on the floor it has fresh carpet that fits right, reproduction mats, optional seatbelts in front and a Hurst shifter sticking out of a new console. The seats have been reupholstered and door panels were replaced. The headliner and visors are new and so is the mirror. The optional dash pad is new and the instrument panel is clean. It has the factory a/c vents and controls along with original radio. There is a nostalgic tachometer on the column and oil/temp gauges under the dash.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The engine is a very stout 455 that is cranking out about 450hp. It was remachined, bored .030 over, has a Howard's Ram Air cam and topped with desirable #13 Ram Air III heads, an Edelbrock Torker intake and a Holley 850 carb. MSD ignition provides the lightning and a set of Doug's ceramic coated headers sends the thunder to the exhaust. The result is a powerful, hard pulling, big cube Pontiac that delivers. All the components are new- wiring, alternator, fuel pump, cooling system etc. it features power steering and an upgraded power brake system with a dual reservoir master cylinder. It is complete with hooked up washers, bottle of concentrate fluid, hood insulation, battery hold down etc. It's all very neatly detailed, the inner fenders and core support are powder coated. This is a factory air conditioned car, the compressor and brackets are included.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Clean and complete! Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted smooth and glossy. Inside is clean, dry metal with a very neatly applied spatter finish. It has new wiring, weatherstrip, decal and trunk mat. It also includes a restored spare and jack assembly.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame and the underside of this car is restored like mechanical jewelry, completely rebuilt and detailed. All the front steering and suspension looks like brand new, because it is! In back, it has boxed control arms, new bushings, and air shocks. It has a beautiful and great sounding, all stainless Pypes exhaust with X-pipe, polished mufflers, and the splitter GTO tips. The brake system was completely redone and upgraded with discs in front. The lines and e-brake cables were replaced. The fuel system was replaced and it has a polished fuel tank that looks really sharp. Looking up at the motor, it is spotless and upgraded with a high torque starter. It has a freshly rebuilt Muncie 4-speed transmission with Hurst linkage. A rebuilt driveshaft goes back to the Safe-T-Track rear end with new 3.36 gears and posi unit. The frame was powder coated, the floors and inner rockers are immaculate metal painted a smooth semi-gloss black. It's very impressive under here!

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell.

CONCLUSION: This is a truly high-quality build, and it's worth emphasizing just how exceptional the body and paint really are. You could examine hundreds, even thousands of restored collector cars, and this finish would rank comfortably among the very best. The craftsmanship, depth, and overall presentation set it apart from the crowd. This is the kind of car that makes its next owner proud every time the garage door opens. Will that owner be you?

      <title>1965 Pontiac GTO</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/pontiac/gto/1965/listing/238053</link>
<description>INTRODUCTION: One of the prettiest GTO's we've ever offered for sale! Extremely rare factory color combination with the turquoise interior that elevates this classic to the next level. It received a detailed 2 year frame off restoration to factory specs and was completed in 2024. Pontiac Historical documented and it has the original Protect-O-Plate with matching unit # on the block too. Invest in this classic! It'd be one of the smartest and most fun things you ever did...

EXTERIOR: Outstanding, much better than new! California built car, it lived on the west coast until 2024. The body was glass bead blasted to bare and is solid metal that's straight as an arrow. All the panels have wonderful alignment with nice consistent gaps that are right on the money. The doors open and close easily like a new car. Repainted in its beautiful and original Reef Turquoise without a vinyl top, it's a real show stopper. Staring at this car is literally like looking into a turquoise mirror. The bumpers have a glorious shine with fresh chrome and the remaining brightwork has been polished to perfection. All the glass is nice and clear. I love the subtlety of the rear tail lights and the stacked headlights. It's also equipped with optional reverse lights and a remote side mirror. She's rolling on a stylish set of Rally 1 Wheels wrapped in reproduction Gold line tires that were only available in 1965 and 1966. They greatly compliment the overall aesthetic and nostalgia.

INTERIOR: Inside the door jambs are as slick as the exterior. The weatherstrips and sill plates were also replaced. The Turquoise Morrokide interior adds to this car's unique appeal, that's a color you really don't see often. We were told the upholstery is original! I do know that the door panels and armrests have been replaced and everything else is in remarkable overall condition. The seats don't have any rips or tears. The gauge bezel has really nice wood trim, all the gauges are in wonderful shape, and very easy to read too. It has a working clock, original heater controls and radio. The dash has been beautifully repainted the correct way with a satin finish on the top for glare reduction and a glossy finish on the bottom for more appeal. The kick panels are in excellent condition and the turquoise carpet looks fresh. The deluxe steering wheel looks to be a brand new reproduction. The center console was nicely refurbished and the Hurst 4-speed shifter puts the driver in command of the power.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This is the original, #s matching motor as indicated by the protect-o-plate and it has the unit # on the block. If you have a 1965 GTO it has to have the tri-power! This one has a completely restored set and gives a spine-tingling induction sound that no single four barrel can match! The entire compartment is highly detailed to factory new. It has reproduction hoses, spring clamp battery cables, foam air filters, suspension dust shields, washer fluid bottle etc. All the surfaces are prepped and painted meticulously. Everything is spotless! What a proper engine bay!

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Like brand new! Under the trunk lid and inside the jamb are painted glossy like the car. Inside, the metal is spotless with a very neat spatter finish paint. It has reproduction stickers, trunk mat and weatherstrip. It's complete with a full size Firestone Wide Oval spare tire on a body color painted rim. It also comes with a detailed jack assembly and vinyl trunk mat too.

UNDERSIDE: Holy cow! It is detailed, it is fresh and it is absolutely beautiful. The body was off the frame, then the frame and chassis were glass beaded before powder coating. The suspension, steering, and brake system were fully rebuilt and everything functions wonderfully. It has a reproduction exhaust system with the correct mufflers and resonators in the tailpipes too. The fuel system was totally replaced including the tank. Looking up at the engine everything appears to be like new. Very stock in overall appearance with no aftermarket parts. The Muncie M20 4 speed manual transmission is correct for this car. Power gets transferred to a Safe-T-Track posi rear end with 3.23 gearing. The floors are absolutely immaculate including the braces and the inner rockers that are both neatly painted and satin black.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell.

CONCLUSION: I have a really good feeling about this one and you should too! Not too often does the car get better the closer you look, like this one did. The body off frame restoration is top quality, and done to a very clean west coast car. I only see upside on your investment, and keeping it in pristine condition will keep your money growing. The next lucky owner is going to get an extremely gorgeous car, it's going to be a blast to drive, and it will get people talking wherever you cruise!

INTRODUCTION: Here come Da Judge! Pontiac Historical documented, it is a real 4-speed Judge! Frame off restored to stock condition. Exceptionally clean metal, believed to be original.

EXTERIOR: The Judge has a bold appearance you can't ignore with distinctive graphics and spoilers. This body is very clean, straight and fits right. The doors, trunk and hood click shut. The door and trunk lip are clean, and the bottom of the fenders are all metal. The rubber front bumper fits right too and only has one hairline crack. Repainted its original Polar white and it is polished to a smooth, gloss finish with just a few blemishes. The rear bumper was rechromed, moldings are good. The 15 inch Rally II wheels were restored and are wrapped in BFG tires.

The console looks new and has the correct T-handle on the Hurst shifter. The seats were recushioned and upholstered. Door panels and armrests were replaced. It has original heads, ram air exhaust manifolds, carb, chrome valve covers and the complete ram air system on top. It features power steering and power brakes with a cadmium plated booster. It is complete with GM hoses and clamps, spring clamp cables, heat riser tube, squirters are hooked up etc. The metal surfaces are painted smooth and neat.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted slick. Inside is spotless metal, I think the ¼ panels are even original. It is nearly spatter painted.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame during restoration. It is exceptionally clean. The floors, braces, inner rockers appear to be nice dry metal that was prepped and painted black. It has the Rally Suspension which includes boxed rear control arms, front and rear swaybars. The steering and suspension has been gone through. It has disc brakes in front, drum in back and the e-brake is hooked up. The fuel system was replaced including the tank. It has a factory style dual exhaust system with the quad tips going out through the valence. Looking up at the motor it is clean and has a correct M-20 Muncie 4-speed manual transmission. The restored driveshaft leads back to the Safe-T-Track rear end.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell.

CONCLUSION: I think this is an exceptionally clean example of a Judge. Great body, mint interior and runs strong. The Judge certainly adds fun nostalgia and desirability to an already awesome car- the GTO!

      <title>1964 Pontiac GTO</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/pontiac/gto/1964/listing/237758</link>
<description>The Holy Grail of the "original muscle car"! Born like you see it and documented by Pontiac Historical Services (PHS). A factory Nocturne Blue GTO with white interior, #'s matching 389 tri-power, 4 speed manual and a posi. They don't get any better than this! It has gone through a meticulous, concours, body off frame restoration to factory specs using restored original or NOS parts when available. "Still in the wrapper" with only 19 miles on the odometer since completion!

Sold new at Tate Motors in Pomona California. Then it was a barn find, literally, and we have pictures! A GM engineer collected muscle cars during the late 70s gas crunch. He parked them all over town and had 3 GTOs including this one which was parked in a real barn until a lucky hunter rescued them about 10 years ago. Since then, the restoration was performed. The rest is history, as the saying goes.

EXTERIOR: Amazing! The metal flake in the Nocturne Blue paint is all laid out evenly and polished like glass. What an impressive color when seen in person! Looking down the side of the body it is absolutely laser straight with crisp lines and smooth contours. The panels are all flush, square, and beautifully aligned with consistent gaps that are spot on. The doors close easily with minimal effort. Triple plated chrome. The bumpers, trim pieces, handles, mirrors and even the hood inserts have an impressive shine. It has the correct T3 headlights. The front grille and taillights are both in pristine condition. All the emblems are sparkling. Every piece of glass was replaced. It's rolling on steel rims that were painted black with poverty hubcaps. They are wrapped in reproduction redline tires.

INTERIOR: Double amazing! Factory white against the amazing factory blue paint! The door latch assemblies, weatherstrips, and sill plates have been replaced. The jambs are painted slick, just like the body. Everything looks new including the door panels, armrests, handles, cranks, and trim. All the metal inside has been neatly repainted and the optional dash pad was replaced. The machine turned gauge bezel is just so beautiful to look at. The gauges all look fresh and there is only 19 miles on the odometer since completion. Even the climate controls and radio are spotless. The glove box liner, sun visors and headliner were all replaced. The bucket seats have been reupholstered and the back seat was redone in matching vinyl. The kick panels and carpeting were replaced, plus it has reproduction floor mats. Also down on the floor is some deluxe seatbelts for the front passengers. It came from the factory with a tachometer, 4 speed shifter, and deluxe 4 spoke steering wheel. All the interior lights and dome light are working.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Correct and #'s matching! The 389 when ordered with the tri-power carbs made 348 hp and 424 lbs of torque. This has been restored to factory specs which includes the 421 heads that have bigger ports, valves and heavy duty springs too. They also had aluminum pistons plus cast crank and rods. The carburetors have the correct tags, foams etc. The chrome valve covers are also correct and it has date coded spark plug wires. All the hoses were replaced and the assembly line codes were recreated on the firewall. Equipped with a heavy-duty radiator and 7 blade clutch fan. The battery is properly secured and the horns are hooked up. The original trim tag is in place. The bottom side of the hood is complete with insulation. The fender wells and firewall were all neatly painted satin black just like when it left the factory. It is detailed as if it just rolled off the assembly line.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Lift the lid and you will see excellent body color paint everywhere. It is equipped with a full-size spare tire, jack assembly, lug wrench and mat just like when it left the factory. Under the mat there is nothing but body colored Nocturne Blue that was applied to pristine rust-free metal. It even has factory style inspection marks on the weatherstrip. The latch mechanism, wiring and taillight connections have all been replaced too.

UNDERSIDE: This GTO had a concours body off frame restoration to like new factory condition. The frame and chassis components were all stripped and nicely painted a semi-gloss black. All the suspension and steering went back together with new or reconditioned parts. It has the optional F40 suspension and handling package which includes quick ratio steering, stiffer springs, shocks and a swaybar. This even has correct spiral shocks. The brake system has been completely restored including all new lines and e-brake assembly. It has the optional metallic brake linings. The fuel system was replaced including the tank and lines. It has the correct style exhaust system with staggered size mufflers and turn down tailpipes. Looking up at the motor it is totally spotless. It has the correct Muncie M20 4 speed manual transmission. We just rebuilt the trans and the linkage looks fresh. The rebuilt drive shaft leads back to the Saf-T-Track rear end. The underbody is completely dry rust-free metal. It was prepped and neatly sprayed satin black.

SERVICE: We thoroughly inspected this car and serviced it. We pulled the trans and rebuilt it, replaced the flywheel, fixed the turn signal cancel, replaced the fuel sending unit, calibrated the speedometer, rewired the tachometer, fixed the horn, fixed the wipers, replaced the fresh air knob, tightened the ignition switch, gave it a front end alignment and replaced the door latch assemblies.

Don't underestimate how special this GTO is. Not only is the 64 GTO considered by many to be the first muscle car, but this one in particular is one of the most desirable in the country considering it's colors, factory features, originality and the high level restoration. From rags to riches! This barn find GTO with rare factory options has lived a remarkable life. Now after some pa

      <title>1969 Pontiac GTO</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/pontiac/gto/1969/listing/237472</link>
<description>The 1969 Pontiac GTO was one of the most iconic muscle cars of all time, and this example is easily one of the best-looking ones you'll find. Finished in a sleek Limelight Green, it pairs perfectly with deep-dish PDM wheels that give the car a spot-on stance. Subtle touches like the color-matched rear bumper and mirrors add just enough custom flair without taking away from the GTO's classic presence. All of the badges, hood details, and tailpipes look correct, and the brightwork is in good shape throughout. This GTO checks every box when it comes to muscle car appeal.

That bold green continues to the inside with an interior that shows very well. The bucket seats and the matching door panels are in good condition. The steering wheel appears original, and the factory-style gauges are clear and easy to read. A floor-mounted Hurst shifter sits front and center, ready for slamming gears, while a Pioneer AM/FM/CD/AUX stereo is on hand when it's time to cruise and listen to some tunes. The green headliner and carpet are both in good shape, as are the door jambs, seals, and weatherstripping, showing this car has been well cared for.

Under the hood is an equally impressive presentation. The firewall, inner fenders, fan shroud, and air cleaner housing are all finished in black, giving the engine bay a clean, purposeful look. Chrome valve covers shine, and the hoses and wiring are neatly organized. Power comes from a 428 cubic inch V8 topped with an Edelbrock Performer intake and a Holley 4-barrel carburetor. Feeding it all is a Ram Air setup tied to the functional hood. The engine is mated to a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission and sends power to a 10-bolt rear axle.

The ride and handling are upgraded with a lowered Hotchkis factory-style performance suspension with front coil-overs, rear shocks, and sway bars. Eighteen-inch PDM wheels sit at all four corners, wrapped in Dunlop Sport Maxx tires up front and Michelin Latitude tires in the rear. Power front disc brakes and power rear drums provide confident stopping, while long-tube headers feeding dual exhaust with Xlerator mufflers deliver that unmistakable muscle car rumble.

  Highlights:

  •428 Cubic Inch V8

 •Holley 4-Barrel Carburetor
 •Ram Air Setup
 •Muncie 4-Speed Manual Transmission

      <title>1966 Pontiac GTO</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/pontiac/gto/1966/listing/235084</link>
      <description>1966 Pontiac GTO Coupe

For consignment, a 1966 Pontiac GTO coupe showing 67,212 miles, but the true miles are unknown. This one has a rebuilt engine, transmission, and rear end and is topped by the coveted Tri-Power carburetion set up!

  Exterior
Long and lean, the family car turned tiger is bathed here in two stage Montero Red that's as hot as a Carolina Reaper with polished accents that include the rocker panel and window trim, bookended by contouring chrome bumpers. The front is reserved for Pontiac's trademarks, including the arrowhead emblem, split grille, and stacked headlights. Giving it a proper muscular look is the central hood scoop with two nostrils fit for a fire breathing dragon. A bowtie shaped rear fascia houses unforgettable slit style tail lights and 15-inch Pontiac Rally I wheels carry 75 series red line tires, a cool feature that eventually made its way to Hot Wheels. The metalwork and paint are excellent on the car and we could not find any glaring exterior imperfections.

  Interior
A red topped GTO emblem on each door panel is a nice accent piece and both doors present cleanly, leading to black vinyl low bucket seats in front with tight tuck and roll pattern, repeated on the rear bench which is just about pristine. The three spoke wood rimmed steering wheel shares its column with a tachometer that fronts a woodgrain faced dashboard housing the standard gauge package, here with some hazing on the plexi fronts. The AM radio and vent lever panel reside in the middle and a trio of condition gauges has been mounted under the dash. There's some patina on the passenger side near the grab handle while the Hurst shifter serves as the driver's grab handle, rising from the center console and its metallic finned design and offset for the driver. Black loop carpet below presents nicely but the headliner shows some sagging. The trunk is clean and houses an extra red line.

  Drivetrain
A clean engine is revealed when the hood is raised, a rebuilt 455ci V8 from 1976 and it's got polished finned valve covers and Tri-Power carburetors on top. It's mated to a rebuilt, date- correct Muncie M20 4-speed manual transmission that routes power to the rebuilt 12 bolt out back with 3.31 gears and Positraction.

  Undercarriage
Some muddy road spray is the only thing that detracts from an otherwise clean underside that has minimal surface rust and no errant fluids. Headers begin the exhaust process which generates dual exhaust running through FlowMaster mufflers and exiting through clean stainless steel pipes out back. Power brakes are onboard as front disc and rear drum and suspension consists of coil springs in front and rear with a 4 link in back. A newer gas tank with electric pump and sway bars add to the clean underside.

  Drive-Ability
This is a clean machine and as we turn the key and fire up the big 455, we're hoping it drives well too! It sounds great and takes on first gear like a champ. Then second and third. There's good power here and the car tracks straight and braking is on point. To put a cherry on top of this red rider, all functions on board operate as intended. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

Every serious car collection should have a clean GTO. People new to the hobby who are looking for their first, collectible muscle car should consider a classic GTO. For those who have dreamed about a GTO, this one checks all the boxes and is turn key ready. In the world of classic cars, you can put all your money down on red and come out ahead.

It is not every day that a car as special as this one becomes available for sale. Survivor Classic Cars is proud to present an extremely clean 1965 Pontiac GTO survivor.

Despite the 1964 GTO's initial success, Pontiac executive Jim Wangers claimed that many more could have been sold if it wasn't for industry strikes. Wangers was proved almost correct in 1965, when 75,352 GTOS were delivered, up from 32,450 the year before. The 1965 Pontiac GTO was still a $295 Tempest Le Mans option package, crisply redesigned with vertically stacked headlights, a split recessed grille and a single hood scoop.

The first thing that catches your eye is that rare Mayfair Maize paint. It was repainted in the mid 70s in the original color as documented on the window sticker. The second is that killer muscle car stance with just enough rake sitting on top of American Racing Torq Thrust alloy wheels wrapped in Cooper Cobra Radial T/A tires. The original Pontiac Rally Wheels with Redline tires are included in the sale as well.

The original Gold interior shows some wear, but is in amazing condition overall, especially for the age. The Classic four-pod dash shows well as do the vinyl bucket seats and center console. An original style AM FM stereo functions as it should and the Hurst shifter is graced with a classic white round shift knob.

This clean example is PHS documented as a true 365 HP Tri Power from the factory. We even have the original window sticker to verify that everything is correct on this goat. The 389CI V8 engine is mated to a Muncie M20 4 speed manual transmission. Power steering and power brakes make it a breeze to drive and stop the car confidently.

The car is in great shape overall and it runs/drives extremely well thanks to a bunch of recent service including all 3 carburetors rebuilt.

      <title>1966 Pontiac GTO</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/pontiac/gto/1966/listing/232388</link>
      <description>1966 Pontiac GTO Convertible

For consignment, a 1966 Pontiac GTO convertible showing 99,527 miles, but the true miles are unknown. Of the 96,946 GTO's produced in 1966, only 12,798 of them were convertibles and how many are left is often the topic of discussion on GTO forums. The consensus seems to be that a small percentage of the 12,000 have survived. This one is a stunning example with tri power under the hood.

  Exterior
Repainted at some point in single stage Montero Red, this slab sided two door is now considered an iconic design and of course, the grandfather of the muscle car era. The stacked headlights front the car boldly and the split grille allows for the characteristic Pontiac nose to shine through, topped of course by the arrowhead and the dramatic hood scoop rising from the hood. In back, slit style tail lights create drama of their own, offering what had to be a unique rear fascia configuration in '66, or any year for that matter. Rocker and wheel opening trim provide some shiny highlights down low and the 14-inch Pontiac Rally II wheels carry 70 series redline tires with an early 2022 date code. The paint and canvas top are in great shape and imperfections are noted as a few bubbles in the paint and curb rash on the wheels.

  Interior
GTO emblems adorn the black vinyl door panels adding a touch of red while stainless trim tops the panel adding some shine that connects with that of the armrest. Ribbed inserts on the black bucket seats repeat on the rear bench and all seating surfaces are in excellent shape. The black steering wheel shows some patina, in particular on the horn section which is missing the center cap, and leads to a clean wood backed dashboard housing original gauges, vent levers, and an AM radio. The dash pad looks newer but shows some warping on the right corner over the red glove box and passenger grab handle. Slight patina is noted on the center console, but this is no deal breaker as it's minor and the shifter is perched and ready. Plush black carpet floods the floor and the trunk is barren and clean.

  Drivetrain
An engine worth showing off, here we have a date correct 389ci V8, rated at an impressive 360 horsepower and topped by the Tri Power carb system and backed by an ST300 2-speed automatic. Power is routed to the 10 bolt axle and slowed through the use of four wheel power drum brakes.

  Undercarriage
No complaints here, the underside is clean and dry. Dual exhaust runs through stock style mufflers and terminates discreetly in back with GTO having ended the chrome splitters option temporarily after '65. Suspension consists of coil springs in front and a 4 link with coil springs in back.

  Drive-Ability
Our pleasant visit with this Goat continues as it runs nicely, tracks straight, and handles well under the respectable power it puts out. We already knew the horn wasn't working and also found the radio was not functioning. All other items operate as they should on this mid-60's classic. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

Still one of the most sought after cars in our inventory, there seems to be an undying enthusiasm for first gen GTO's. Even LeMans based GTO tributes sell fast. But this is the real deal and in very nice condition. If you're one of the thousands with classic GTO on your wishlist, be sure to check out this topless red ride today.

      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/pontiac/gto/1966/listing/231665</link>
      <description>1966 Pontiac GTO Hardtop

For consignment, a 1966 Pontiac GTO hardtop with a title verified 101,286 actual miles. This car was delivered to Jones Pontiac in nearby Lancaster, Pennsylvania and was $3,389 out the door back in '66.  How do we know? The original window sticker and build sheet come with the car along with the PHS documentation.

  Exterior
The Goat still clings to the single stage Cameo Ivory exterior and while not perfect, it still looks good from 20 feet. Stacked quad headlights flank the split grille which house the marker lights and our driver's side light is slightly askew, almost like a wink. The arrowhead is in line with the hood scoop and from the front, the asymmetric profile is due to the single side mirror, as was typical for the time. The tail lights are extra special, a series of nine slits on each side that form a single unit with plenty of white space in between at the end of a long decklid. Our wheels here are Pontiac Rally II's and they carry 70 series tires with a mid 2024 date code. Imperfections begin on the door corner where some uneven filler is found, there's bubbling in spots especially at the rocker panel, cracking paint, and general patina.

  Interior
Red vinyl is the choice here and while it appears clean and intact on the door panels, the driver's seat is torn and compressed, and the passenger side has a tear. Conversely, the rear bench looks as if no one has been back there. Red covers the steering wheel and dash surround while wood veneer backs the instrument cluster fronted by the tachometer on the column and this wood shows some age. The AM radio and fan controls appear as they did in 1966 and a pair of more modern gauges are added under the dash to monitor oil and water. A Hurst shifter is offset in the center console to cater to the driver and look original while semi plush red carpet floods the floor, showing a touch of age and the headliner is in great shape, also red. The trunk is clean and contains a period plaid mat and spare tire.

  Drivetrain
Pontiac Blue colors the block of the 350ci V8 under the hood topped by legendary Tri-Power carburetors and backed by a numbers matching Muncie M20 4-speed manual transmission. Power is sent to the 10 bolt rear axle with 3.55 gears and the optioned Safe-T-Track differential. All four hubs are equipped with drum brakes.

  Undercarriage
Mainly clean underneath with some driver quality elements including some surface rust on the exhaust and driveshaft and some oil on the rear differential. The pans are dry and the knuckles are clear. Dual exhaust runs through glasspack style mufflers before finding an exit via steel pipes out back. Coil spring suspension occupies the front independent system while a 4 link with coil springs is equipped out back.

  Drive-Ability
We almost bow in respect before entering this relic from the origins of the muscle car movement. A prime of the gas delivery system and a turn of the key and we were off onto the test loop where many GTO's have come before. This one performs with no surprises, delivering good power, confident tracking, and decent handling for a relatively large car. We note the radio, heater blower, and reverse lights are not working but all other features work as they should. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

1966 saw more GTO's leave the factory than any other year, nearly 100,000 in total. They remain strong players in the collector market and are favored by those who were around when they were new. If you were a kid in the 60's but old enough to catch the energy of the muscle car wave that was happening, the GTO has always been on your radar. This one presents a great opportunity and if trends hold, this one will absolutely find a new home. Whether that's at your address or not is your decision!

      <title>1965 Pontiac GTO</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/pontiac/gto/1965/listing/226955</link>
      <description>1965 Pontiac GTO Hardtop

For consignment, a 1965 Pontiac GTO hardtop showing 23,301 miles but the true miles are unknown. This car was the recipient of a body off restoration which concluded in 1996 and has been driven less than 1,000 miles since. It is PHS documented and has always been garaged. And it's almost a sure bet it will find a new home soon, so speed reading is encouraged.

  Exterior
Resprayed in its original Cameo White, this time the coat comes in two stages, base and clear! A dark blue pinstripe runs the shoulder line, hopping up to ride the ridge of the fender right after the door opening, and we find that stripe framing the hood scoop as well. Stacked headlights were new for 1965 and flank a grille split by the Pontiac nose with the ever present arrowhead logo, all underscored by a lovely chrome bumper that contours to create rounded leading edges under the lights. Out back, the fantastically designed tail lamps that share the finned design with the mid panel they flank, creating one continuous and nearly seamless strip of horizontal ridges. The GTO would employ different tail light designs over the years, and for many, this is a favorite. 15-inch Cragar wheels add even more chrome to the profile and are wrapped in staggered size tires, about an inch wider and an inch taller in back. Imperfections include some bubbling on the rocker panel and a spot higher up on the door.

  Interior
A great offset to the Cameo white is the Dark Blue interior that starts on the door panels patterned with concentric stitch patterns with metal trim bars above and below with a narrow carpeted kick panel on the bottom and both doors are in great shape. Diagonal stitch pattern dresses the front bucket seats with an embossed arrowhead on the low back uppers and the pattern is mirrored on the back bench in just about flawless condition. A wood rimmed 3 spoke steering wheel presents to the driver and wood is used to back the gauges in the instrument cluster where the vent control panel is also located. Under it, an AM/FM/Cassette player that is also tied to a CD changer located in the trunk and below that, some wires looking for a loom and zip tie hang under the dash where there is a speaker. Blue twist pile carpet surrounds the muscular Hurst Competition shifter on the transmission hump and vintage style Pontiac rubber mats protect the floor while the blue headliner is high and tight. In the trunk, the CD changer, an amp, a spare tire, and a Bazooka bass tube, all over a period plaid vinyl mat and all clean!

  Drivetrain
Under the hood, more cleanliness is found on the Jasper Performance engine on board, 455ci V8 with a consignor stated 468 horsepower. It's got Keith Black forged pistons and a 4-barrel carburetor, all mated to a Doug Nash 4-speed manual transmission. Power is sent to the Oldsmobile 12 bolt axle with 3.73 gears with Positraction. Power assisted disc brakes are up front, and power drums in the back. Power steering is also supplied. Polished parts, braided hoses, and an aluminum radiator create a show worthy engine bay.

  Undercarriage
Clean underneath with some typical metal patina but fairly dry and mostly lacking surface rust. We note a drop of oil on the transmission pan but no major leaks are detected. The dual exhaust comes from headers and travels through Turbo mufflers before heading east and west to exit through GTO splitters behind each rear wheel. Suspension is pretty standard with coil springs up front and a 4 link with coil springs in back.

  Drive-Ability
We take our seat in the founding muscle car, tap the gas, and turn the key to let loose a cacophony of exhaust notes from the 455. Off we roll, like a prince on a white steed, to see if this Goat gallops. And indeed there is obvious power underfoot and control in the right hand wrapped around an ivory knob. She tracks straight, accelerates well, and stops with authority. For functionality, we note the brake lights, turn signals, reverse lights and wipers are not working. What does illuminate however, is the battery light on the dashboard. All other functions work as they should. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

Some would argue that a massaged Goat is better than a tweaked pony, and poncho fans can celebrate the availability of this mildly built GTO with the clean coat of paint and very nice blue interior. Sure, if you want to drown out the engine sound with tunes and big bass, do your thing. But if you want to hear the sweet sound of 8 drums pounding out compression, keep the radio low! If you're looking for a legend, look no further than this 1965 GTO.

      <title>1970 Pontiac GTO</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/pontiac/gto/1970/listing/213731</link>
<description>1970 Pontiac GTO The Judge Hardtop

For consignment, a 1970 Pontiac GTO The Judge hardtop, often referred to as simply a GTO Judge.  This car has Pontiac Historical Society documentation and was restored during the period between 1999 and 2012 as evidenced by receipts that will accompany the car.   3,787 hardtop Judges were built for 1970, while a total of 40,149 GTO's were built in the same year.

  Exterior
Now in two stage paint, Granada Gold adorns our car and has tinges of bronze and green undertones, which is likely why Pontiac selected green and yellow graphics for the decals that include Judge stripes along the fender side and cartoonish "The Judge" graphics on the front quarter panels and decklid.  Coming straight at you, it's pure GTO with black tipped Ram Air nostrils and optional hood mounted tach, easily one of the most iconic exterior features from the muscle car era.  The big rear wing is impressive as well and looks like it was borrowed from a Cessna, mounted over a chrome bumper with integrated taillights and twin splitter exhaust tips spitting fumed and singing tunes out back.  14-inch Rally II wheels carry 225/70R14 tires and wear the PMD branded center caps.  Metalwork included the bumpers, trim, rocker panel, and hardware is in great condition and so is the paint with some imperfections we note.  Long scratches exist on the lower body, a few paint bubbles in a curved section of the body, some wavy paint, and a rough edge on the decal at the driver's door gap.

  Interior
The Sandalwood interior starts with a beautifully designed and sculpted door panel with chrome trim, a slanted stitch insert and gold carpeted lower.  The front bucket seats consist of vinyl construction, a plastic shell, and a fitted headrest and appear in excellent condition.  Same goes for the rear bench and its three sets of brown seat belts and matching sidewall decor.  The hard molded plastic steering wheel is rimmed in texturized brown with a plastic PMD center cap and three metal spokes.  Warm faux wood applique surrounds the gauge cluster inside the sandalwood dashboard and surround three gauges over a turned metal band below.  An AM radio and vent controls take up the middle section and the entire dash looks factory fresh including the passenger's side where a sandalwood glove box wears the coveted Judge badge.  A very simple center console consists of a gaping abyss that houses the T-handle Hurst shifter and an armrest bin cover, showing a bit of wear with scratches, just about the only thing in the interior that distracts from the near mint condition.  Gold loop carpet is the ideal choice for this car while the perforated sandalwood headliner and adherent shoulder harnesses are in great condition.  A gray mat covers most of the trunk which is otherwise clean and contains a spare tire and jack.

  Drivetrain
A date and stamping code correct but not original 400 cubic inch L74 Ram Air III V8 is show ready under the hood and is rated at a ground pounding 366 horsepower and fed by a correct Rochester Quadrajet 4-barrel carburetor.  The numbers matching Muncie M20 4-speed manual backs the engine up and sends power to a non original 10-bolt axle with 3.55 gears and correct Saf-T-Track.  Power disc brakes up front control the speed and are backed by power drums in the rear.

  Undercarriage
The clean underside is highlighted by the dual exhaust which includes a pair of stainless steel mufflers before snaking its way around the axle and out the back.  There are sporadic spots of surface rust but very little, and no signs of leaks.  Satin black paint covers most of the underside and presents cleanly.  The suspension includes coil springs on the independent front and a 4 link with coil springs in the rear.

  Drive-Ability
A press of the right pedal primes the Quadrajet and we release the Kraken, in this case a classic Gran Turismo Omologato, onto our test loop where it performs well, sounds great, and provides a comfortable and capable driving experience.  On the downside, we note the horn, wipers, and reverse lights don't work.  The heater blower only works at medium speed, so pack a coat.

It's pretty clear now that judges can be crooked and corrupt.  Well, there's nothing crooked or corrupt about this Judge.  It's the pot of gold waiting at the end of the muscle car rainbow and if you happen to be in the market for a true GTO Judge, not even Judy would find you guilty for buying this one.  Case closed. Court dismissed.

      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/pontiac/gto/1970/listing/211814</link>
      <description>1970 Pontiac GTO Hardtop

Little GTO really lookin' fine, 3 Deuces and a 4 speed and a 389..Listen to her crankin' up now listen to  her whine-yie-yine..  C'mon and turn it on, wind it up blow out GTO..Ronnie and the Daytonas.  For consignment, a real 242 VIN GTO with a 400ci, McLeod SuperStreet Pro clutch kit, M23z Autogear transmission, Cragar SS Chrome mags and of course bathed in arrest me Cardinal Red.  Let's call it a beak with a big speak!

  Exterior
For 1970 GM tweaked the GTO's design with a number of detail changes and subtle refinements.  At the front of the car, Pontiac's installed smaller twin grilles with quad headlamps at the edges of the iconic Endura bumper.  Below that bumper, the car's front valance features revised and more aggressive square parking lights; and above that bumper, a sculpted hood with Pontiac's legendary 'twin nostril' Ram Air air intakes and just aft of this a hood mounted tachometer.  Behind the tach, the windshield glass is bordered by an attractive layer of bright stainless trim and a Cardinal Red driver's side mirror.  Below that mirror and bathed in a nice respray of Cardinal Red that shows with inclusions and some underlying cracking in the Endura nose.  Aggressive fenders and body lines are highlighted by dent-free stainless wheel well trim, straight stainless rocker moldings and traditional chrome door handles.  The gaps are well minded throughout the body and on the back fenders, '68-era arrowhead marker lights have been exchanged for wrap-around tail lights within the confines of a chrome bumper that hangs proudly with new for 1970 tail lights just above quad exhaust tips.  Never overlooked are the GTO decal callouts in black knockout type font on the front fenders and the trunk lid, so you don't forget who you're about to mess with.  15-inch Cragar polished SS wheels are on all 4 corners and give the right vibe.

  Interior
Take a look inside this A-Body's cockpit and you'll find a snazzy correct black vinyl covered interior.  Front and center a straight and crack-free dash wears a wood appliqué around the deep inset original gauges with a chromed panel at the bottom hosting a trio of extra gauges.  On the floor, a Hurst shifter in the original center console sits between the two bucket front seats.  The seating, both front buckets and rear bench show very nicely with the driver's seat being the only area presenting with little wear, albeit minimal.  At the sides of those seats, stainless-trimmed door panels have black tuck and roll inserts housing original hardware and armrests.  Below those panels, very clean black carpet frames chrome-trimmed foot pedals.  In front of the driver is a 3 spoke padded rimmed steering wheel with its Pontiac arrowhead in the center.  Behind the passengers, the trunk is finished with correct spatter paint and has a correct liner mat.  Also seen and heard is a Retro classic AM/FM radio with Crutchfield speakers.

  Drivetrain
A non original 1970 400ci  V8 silver painted block is topped with an Edelbrock intake and a Holley 4-barrel carburetor and all rests between the fenders.  On back, installed just this year is an Autogear  4-speed manual transmission with a McLeod Super Street Pro clutch kit and a Quicktime blow- proof bell housing.  All this power goes to the 12 bolt rear axle with a 3.73 posi ratio.  Hedman headers and a motorized infinite opening setting controller switch in the console and QTP cutouts will make heads turn!  This engine presents nicely in a fully restored engine bay and has some extra bling from the factory in the form of chrome valve covers and a chrome air cleaner lid assembly.  Also seen is an MSD ignition.

  Undercarriage
Give this car a lift and we are met with independent front suspension and 4-link rear suspension.  Eaton coil springs are now on.  A button controlled solenoid runs the line lock.   Power disc braking is upfront, and power drums are on back.  All of this is supported by a strong steel frame with just pure black paint and no rust or even road dirt.

  Drive-Ability
She fired right up, and as got a little goosey with my boot into those 400 cubes, the car took off.  Our test track was not a match for this muscle car where I experienced wonderful acceleration, smooth shifting and nice steering input from the quick ratio power steering.  Braking was solid and all functions were working just dandy.

Overall a fab example of the 1970 version of the Pontiac GTO.  Competently restored with only a few minor flaws, but muscle car right from the folks at Pontiac.  Plenty of extras and some recently installed new parts to include new shocks and springs, power steering pump, alternator and brakes.  Hurry in as the car got my goat..

      <title>2005 Pontiac GTO</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/pontiac/gto/2005/listing/211096</link>
      <description>2005 Pontiac GTO Coupe

Certainly not an old goat in this 2005 GTO from Pontiac.  Now with 400hp, a homologation of Holden and European style looks, the dyed in the wool GTO fans may not like the new aero look but will relish the performance which the classics cannot even come close to.  Only a 3-year run for this car, and it is now an instant classic.  Its only fault with the public back in the day was the Holden/Euro styling which has nary a hint of retro on it.  This car come with some performance upgrades as well as 39,414 title verified actual miles.

Note: This vehicle is sold with a Delaware reconstructed salvage branding on the title.  Please check with your country, state, provincial, county or local DMV to verify proper titling procedure.

  Exterior
This styling means that each unit from every company essentially takes on the same traits, and this ubiquitous example plays along exactly with the game.  With no reference to the past conquests, integrated headlights, front bumper and lower fog lights are aerodynamically inserted and smoothed over.  A slight reference to Pontiac in form is the split front drilled hole grille in black with the arrowhead badge.  A hood scoop has been carved into the hood and sports dual openings.  All panels are bathed in Quicksilver, and it's, well, silver!  A flared rocker panel moves rearward to a greenhouse long sloping tinted rear glass that ends with a curvaceous rear spoiler.  More integrated blacked out taillights rear bumper and finally a black custom rear valance flanked by dual exhaust.  19-inch Quad wheels are wrapped with front 245/35ZR19 rubber and on back larger 275/30ZR19's.

  Interior
Fashioned from black curved molded vinyl and a strip of suede, the door panels are as aerodynamic as the exterior.  High back extra bolster support buckets in black leather have an embroidered GTO in their uppers.  These seats are power adjustable and in back is a 2 plus 2 bench setup stretching from B pillar to B pillar.   In the center is a curved molded console that makes its way gracefully upward and melting into the dash.  On its way is a Blaupunkt 6-disc AM/FM/CD radio, green screen readout for information and fan and temperature knobs.  The dash borrows styling directly from Porsche with the overlapping red background circle gauges, and more green readouts, under a curved dash top visor.  Black carpet for the floors and more molded panels covered with slightly fuzzy charcoal gray material for the headliner.

  Drivetrain
Stuffed under the curved dual vented hood is a living breathing 6.0 liters of V8 LS2 engine.  It has a Texas Speed camshaft with 629i, 615e lift, and 235i,240e duration and a K&amp;amp;N cold air intake.  EFI feeds it, and a T56 6-speed manual transmission with a rear axle with 4.11 gearing finishes up the drivetrain.  Headers and a Spintech muffler system are on and it has QTP electric cutouts.

  Undercarriage
Up on the lift some slight surface rust but all structurally sound with the unibody construction.  All independent suspension, and all power disc brakes all around for this car.  Adjustable coilovers are in front, and lowering springs are in back.  Noted, there is still a noticeable bend in the left front unibody rail near the radiator support (see photos 68 and 69).

  Drive-Ability
As expected, this car fired right up, and performed like a 400+hp car should on the test track.  Seat pushing acceleration, rail like handling, and quick stopping were the norm.  All functions were performing as they should, and it is a smooth highway cruiser with low noise factor.

A nice example of the new version of the GTO even though someone would have to tell me it's a GTO if the badges were not there.  Holden/Euro styling has taken over, and now we have an aero car with a big mill.  Which in the entire picture is not too bad!

This real-deal 242-code GTO is powered by the era-correct 400 V8 with a 4-speed manual transmission. Paint shows well and has a nice shine to it overall, but there is a slight orange peel throughout the car. Equipped with power steering, 4bbl carb, Edelbrock intake manifold, aluminum radiator, power antenna, and power brakes. Chrome and brightwork looking good on this one. Riding on rally style wheels with Cooper Cobra white letter radials. Black vinyl bucket seat interior that has been redone by the previous owner. Seating surfaces are in great shape! Carpeting and headliner also looks solid. Aftermarket gauge cluster added below the dash. Speedometer is inop - missing a needle. This one is a bit cold blooded, you want to warm it up to 160 degrees to run nice. Aftermarket stereo in the dash is not working. Wipers and power antenna both do work.
