      <title>1949 Willys Jeepster</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/willys/jeepster/1949/listing/237967</link>
<description>With the long-awaited return to peacetime, Willys based its initial 1948 civilian automobile production efforts on a series of Jeep-based vehicles. This open-air, two-door 1949 Jeepster Phaeton was designed by fast-rising industrial designer Brooks Stevens during the war and shared its chassis with the concurrent Jeep station wagon. Even with an unmistakable Jeep-derived frontal motif, styling was quite sporty, with such up-to-date stylistic cues as rakish cut-down doors inspired by the little sports roadsters coming out of the UK after the war.

Despite its winning attributes, the Jeepster was a surprisingly slow seller for Willys, with the initial 1948 models the most successful, due in part to growing competition for sales in the slowing postwar "seller's market" for new automobiles. Following discontinuation in 1951, the Jeepster Phaeton's basic essence would return in the mid-1960s with the Jeepster Commando. Today, these early Jeepsters are highly sought-after collectables that can still be used and enjoyed.

With is Maroon and Black paint scheme, whitewall tires, rear externally-mounted spare tire and chrome trim, this classic has an irresistible charm and character that turns heads everywhere it roams. The clean durable maroon and tan vinyl interior looks great. The dash retains its charming original gauge cluster with "Willys Overland" logo, and side curtains are included just in case it gets cold or rainy. A Boss Audio AM/FM/AUX/Bluetooth radio provides music for cruising.

Rather rare as one of only 19,132 original VJ-Series Jeepsters produced, this 1949 Willys is powered by 134-cid, F-head "Go Devil" four-cylinder engine developing 62 horsepower mated to a 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive that makes it fun to drive.

  HIGHLIGHTS:

  • 134 Cubic Inch "Go Devil" 4-Cylinder Engine
 • 3-Speed Manual Transmission with Overdrive
 • Folding Convertible Top
 • Radial Whitewall Tires
 • Chrome Bumpers
 • Stock and Unmodified Classic
 • Maroon and Black Paint Scheme
 • Tan and Maroon Interior
 • Original Steering Wheel
 • Original Dash and Gauges
 • Side Curtains
 • Boss Audio AM/FM/AUX Radio with Bluetooth
 • Rear Mounted Spare Tire

With a charming patina and benefiting from collector ownership and care, this 1949 Willys Jeepster Phaeton exemplifies the early versatility of the world-famous Jeep. Call today!

<description>When Willys Overland Motors decided to modernize the appearance of its offerings as the '40s were approaching, it was largely a "Hail Mary" move intended to energize flagging sales. But the results were met with an enthusiastic response, and consumers were drawn to the much more futuristic look of the company's new product line. Little did they know that the move would also inspire legions of modded car enthusiasts, who embraced the new cars as the foundations of countless aftermarket projects. This 1941 Willys Coupe serves as testimony to the design skills of its manufacturer. Dressed in Silver Ice Metallic paint and outfitted with shaved door handles, it gives off an unmistakably aggressive aura, and, with its robust drivetrain pairing with an all-fiberglass body and fenders, it features an outstanding power-to-weight ratio to back it up.

The interior echoes the same theme, sporting a pair of aftermarket black and red bucket seats with pronounced bolsters for extra support during spirited driving, with a B&amp;amp;M ratchet shifter in between them. The dash area has been painted to match the exterior, with a Grant woodgrain steering wheel added to the mix that creates a nice contrast to its silver background. A full collection of white-faced aftermarket gauges is on hand, and a JVC AM/FM/CD stereo sits just to the right of them to attend to your audio requests. All the components for the air conditioning system are in place, and it runs on modern refrigerant, so it likely won't take much to get it blowing nice and cold again.

It features a 350-cubic-inch V8 that's fed by an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor perched on top of a high-rise manifold by the same manufacturer, and - with its weight-saving fiberglass body yielding an outstanding power-to-weight ratio - it doesn't take much imagination to picture the results. The addition of an HEI distributor and an aluminum radiator brings maximized spark and better temperature control. It rides on a Street Beast suspension with adjustable coilovers up front and air shocks in back, while power brakes with discs up front bring it to prompt, fade-resistant stops.

      <title>1941 Willys Coupe</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/willys/coupe/1941/listing/236289</link>

This coupe is equipped to perform.

      <title>1940 Willys Speedway</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/willys/speedway/1940/listing/217265</link>
      <description>1940 Willys Speedway Coupe

For consignment, a 1940 Willys Speedway Coupe, a purple and black street rod that barely resembles its original form, but there's no mistaking that pointed, protruding shark nose on front.

  Exterior
The top surface and third of the car is painted purple which encounters an elaborate pinstripe and flame design on the shoulder line, followed by inky black paint.  Most of the elongated trunk lid wears purple as the wide fenders and rear valance put on black and flush tail lights are almost imperceptible, especially when your eyes are drawn to the wheelie bars protruding from the back.  In front, the twin grilles form a bit of a smile between the teardrop shaped headlight rings and a pair of hood scoops near the cowl turn this happy face into a slightly menacing grin.  15-inch Budnick polished wheels occupy the axles with deeply staggered widths.  In profile, the car lurches forward with the help of the shark nose, and the fenders and C-pillar that lean towards the front, as if pulling the wheels along.  Imperfections include some paint runs, scratches and faded paint in rocker panel, some orange peel, cracks in the paint, and various chips and scuffs, mostly down low.

  Interior
Purple and black leather panels make up the simple door cards that are clean and tidy.  Inside, the bucket seats are black with purple tuck and roll inserts and they are a combination of luxury, sporty, and with the RCI 4 point harness that drapes over them, serious racers.  The seats are in great shape and a Budnik steering wheel fronts a custom blue digital dash in an aluminum billet frame, and a large tachometer with shift light rides the steering column.  On the far right, an AM/FM/CD radio with AUX and USB capability is there if you need to play "I Can't Drive 55" or the song of your choice for track motivation.  A B&amp;amp;M racing shifter is in the center console which is nicely surrounded by black, low pile carpet while a black vinyl headliner arches above it all.

  Drivetrain
Under the fiberglass hood, we find a powerplant that the consignor states is Dart block 565ci V8.  It has a hydraulic roller camshaft, Brodix aluminum heads, a Holley ECU, and Kensler fuel injection.  And our consignor goes on to state this is good for 815 horsepower.  Behind it, a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission sending power to the narrowed rear with a Ford 9".  Headers, naturally, exhaust the fumes and disc brakes are found at all four wheels.

  Undercarriage
Within the square tube purple painted frame, there's a lot going on for this racer.  An Aeromotive fuel pump resides next to an electric fan while the aluminum driveshaft pierces an octagon loop.  Coil overs are in front and back where it includes a 4 link suspension.  The dual exhaust flows through race mufflers then turns east and west to exit in rectangular tips in front of the rear wheels.  All is clean underneath with a few drops of oil on the polished flywheel cover.

  Drive-Ability
Okay Morgantown, it's time to wake up.  You're going to have to endure a few minutes of raucous rumble so that your favorite business in town can test a race ready street rod.  And test we did as we lapped this car around the loop.  The dash provides information in showy blue digits and everything that is intended to operate on this car did.  While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

There's ridiculous power underfoot and this attractive toy needs to be played with with the utmost care and respect. Hemmings lamented the lack of stock Willys coupes left in the country.  Their incredible profile, accommodating engine bay, and lack of stock power turned most of them into modified monsters.  Fortunately, there are kits available so the remaining steel bodied Willys coupes can be preserved.  But it sure is fun seeing these fat bottomed street rods at car shows!  Are you ready to strap in?

Classic Auto Mall is home to more than 1,000 classic and collectible vehicles for sale via consignment in a climate controlled 336,000-square foot showroom (that's more than 8 acres!). <title>1941 Willys 441</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/willys/441/1941/listing/215685</link>
      <description>1941 Willys 441 Coupe

For consignment, a 1941 Willys 441 coupe with a full street rod treatment. Tubbed rear, shaved handles, flush mounted lights, air ride suspension, a fiberglass body, and some neon flash underneath. The paint reflects like a mirror finish and no stone has been unturned on the top side of this high end build.

  Exterior
The distinctive shark nose and bottom feeding grille is flanked by single headlights with teardrop bezels that immediately contrast with the inky black paint which is immediately impressive on this fiberglass body. It is miles deep and like Jed Clampett's fortune, it's like a vat of crude oil, black gold. The black goes on forever in spectacular two stage coverage interrupted on the side only by a dynamic multi-hue painted spear that blips in the center like a heartbeat, then trails off to a point in the front. While we're at the side, there's no denying the wild shape of the Willys, surging forward with canted fenders, a rounded cab, a raked stance, and of course, the shark nose pointing forward. Small side mirrors adorn the car along with billet style wiper arms, while slit style tail lights barely make an appearance and do not disrupt the enormous black dome in back, topped by a split rear window with, yep, black trim. 15-inch Weld wheels act as shoes and the rears hold 33x19.5x15 meats. Save for a scratch and some rock chips on the front face of the rear fenders, the exterior is flawless. Purple neon lights illuminate under the car for show time shenanigans.

  Interior
A tri colored leather graphic stripe spans the doors and flows to the back walls, all on a background of gray leather. A Willys "W" is cleverly stitched in the seat inserts of the tall bucket seats in gray leather with headrests and armrests on the inside. A wings style steering wheel is a familiar mod and fronts a glossy black dashboard filled with gold rimmed retro style VDO gauges for an attractive presentation. The center of the inky dash has a small A/C control panel, an AM/FM/CD player, and a digital monitor for the Air Ride suspension. A Lokar shifter rises from the floor, showing some patina on the shaft, and electric window toggles fall just behind it. Low pile gray carpet covers the floor with matching mats and the headliner is taut and gray. The trunk houses the inner fender wells and a bottle of nitrous, lined with the same gray carpet and stitched leather walls. The inside of the trunk lid is also dressed with gray leather fill pieces.

  Drivetrain
A spectacular looking engine awaits as we open the hood and reveal the 350ci, fuel injected V8 with etched aluminum valve covers and dress up panels. Accessories are polished metal as well and headers begin the exhaust process. A TH400 3-speed automatic transmission sets the car in motion by sending power to the Ford 9" rear. Disc brakes are in the front and drums are in the rear.

  Undercarriage
The boxed tube frame is painted purple on the underside that can best be described as driver quality. There's some surface rust around and some chipping purple paint, but not a build up of grease and grime or leaks are to be found. The dual exhaust flows into a pair of mufflers and then heads out the sides via chrome tips. Suspension consists of airbags at both ends with ladder bars augmenting the rear. The rear axle has been narrowed and the fat tires take up serious real estate in the back of the car.

  Drive-Ability
Fuel injection does its job by starting the engine on demand and the small block puts out some sweet notes to the sides. The staggered tires provide straight tracking going forward and turn-ins can be sharp as the big boys in back make the circle. Braking is adequate and acceleration is respectable for this lightweight street rod. Our horn does not blow and the air from the A/C is cool but not cold. Beyond that, all functions operate as intended. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

This one caught my eye in the loading zone of our facility. I mean, I look at every car coming in, but this one stood out. It has incredible presence and represents a stunning build. The underside presents opportunities for further refinement if that's the route you take, but there's no harm in leaving it as is. This one proves that basic black, done right, is a great choice, and it looks fantastic on the unique Willys coupe body. So load up the truck and head to town, Morgantown, that is, and get you some of this black gold!

      <title>1947 Willys CJ2A</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/willys/cj2a/1947/listing/211657</link>
      <description>1947 Willys CJ2A

The Willys CJ2A was one of the civilian jeep designs put out by Willys after the completion of the war. Similar in most ways to the Willys MB, Willys CJ vehicles, including the Willys CJ2A, incorporated design alterations to include vacuum-powered windshield wipers, a tailgate and civilian lighting. Production on the Willys CJ2A started July 17, 1945, sharing production time with the MBs. The CJ2A had two distinct series, often referred to as Very Early Civilian (VEC) and Early Civilian (EC) CJ2As. The EC CJ2A is considered to have been in production from mid-1946 to mid-1947. Early CJ2As, using many Willys MB parts, featured a civilianized MB with larger Willys headlights and a side-mounted spare tire. As the MB parts began to run out, later CJ2A jeeps featured design, and thus parts changes, including chrome headlight trims, chrome rear tail lamp doors, chrome rear reflectors and more. Later changes included paint colors, offering a wider variety of body paint colors, as opposed to the two colors that the early Willys CJ2As came in.

For consignment, a full on Willys Jeep, about as close as one can get to the MB series produced during WWII and right out of 1947. This Jeep has been modified from its original form with the addition of a roll cage and a V8 powerplant. This truck does not have a key, also there are no brakes, so you can get yourself in a bit of trouble if you aren't careful with this trail rig once you get it up and running lest you take time to give everything a once over. A project for sure, but the labors of your love and unlimited vision will be worth the blood sweat and tears, break out your 4x4 catalog and lets get a plan rollin'.

  Exterior
The simple exterior shell is all that remains of this original Jeep and it is showing some rough spots as to rust, patina, paint peeling off and dents and dings. Just the facts ma'am on this sale as there are no doors, or canvas top, however, the folding ribs for the top are still on, and all bathed in an amaetur application of red paint. A black steel bar with a diamond plate platform replaces the front bumper, and it sports small steel brackets, possibly for a fold up towing assembly. The back of the truck is open, and the tailgate shows dents and dinging from years of use. This rig is sans rear bumper but does have a tow hitch of sorts bolted to the rear frame crossmember. In the back there are simple round flush mount taillights with central blue dots added. Polished and drilled 15" aluminum wheels are on and all 4 wheels are wrapped by 265/75R15 outline white letter rubber.

  Interior
The "open air" interior has suffered from the elements with just 2 front buckets. These seats are not securely bolted to the flooring and present in a mix of smooth and knitted black vinyl. A stained oak dash now resides in front of the driver and within it, a centrally located speedometer is flanked by smaller round auxiliary gauges and toggles. A mix of black steel and surface rust make up the flooring in the front and between the hump is a B&amp;amp;M automatic shifter. In back, highly polished diamond plate takes over and covers the entire rear cargo area. A full roll cage has been added but is not bolted or welded to the flooring.

  Drivetrain
Flipping open the hood reveals a 283ci V8 circa 1964-1966. The mill is fed by a Holley 4bbl carburetor and covered by a beehive style air cleaner assembly. Power steering is noted, and a pair of M/T ribbed aluminum valve covers have been added for some extra wow. Bolted to the back is a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission and a Dana transfer case sends power to both the front and rear axles. Speaking of the axles, they are a Dana 25 front axle, and for the rear a Dana 44 with 5.38 gears. All this menagerie is sitting in an unrestored engine bay with plenty of patina, and lots of road dust accumulation.

  Undercarriage
Plenty of heavy surface rust, and some invasive rust has taken over parts of the undercarriage. Thankfully the worst has been tended to, that being the inner wheelhouse which is showing a welded in repair plate. The floor pans have been painted black and are now peeling in areas. Surface rusted leaf spring suspension is all around as are drum brakes which are not working.

  Drive-Ability
No key and no brakes means no drive for us. The engine does however turn over by hand, so all is not lost.

Despite its shortcomings with lack of some parts, there is a definite cool charm that is oozing from this 1947 Willys. The whole package of hastily applied red paint, the lack of any conveniences and just the basics and there is a certain attraction for the simplistic "rat ride" with an offroad charm and a difficult past working history, but it has survived and with some TLC on the brakes and ignition it could be a real interesting head turner, as it is here now in our Montezuma like Hallowed Halls here at Classic Auto Mall.

      <title>1941 Willys 441</title>
      <link>https://www.hotrodhotline.com/forsale/vehicles/willys/441/1941/listing/211525</link>
      <description>1941 Willys 441 Coupe

For consignment, a wild and wooly Willys, right out of the look of 1941.  This street legal drag car has been 20 years in the making and was completed in 2020.  A consignor stated Keith Black 1966 Hemi engine formerly used in a funny car is open for all the world to see.  We possess no documentation to back this up, so we'll take his word for it.  This is a sculpted fiberglass body on a tubular frame, is painted in wild grape purple, and it has a beautiful gray/purple accented interior with some conveniences.

  Exterior
With front and rear bumpers as well as door handles shaved,  teardrop headlights, custom rear taillights and some massive side exit pipes she's a runner and looks as though she's moving when standing completely still.  The purple uppers and fenders of the car become curvaceous pieces of art framing large rubber below them.  A nicely rounded roofline melts into the trunk line which is flanked by the rear fenders and rear roll pan which together they appear to have the shape of CInderella's slipper.  Up front, a curved vertical ribbed grille is topped by a pointy V shaped but still bulbous hood and the car looks great with or without it.   Polished 15-inch Weld Rodlite wheels are wrapped in deeply treaded rubber for both the skinny fronts and steamroller wide rears.  Lovely, yet frighteningly fast in looks and performance. Purple rain?!

  Interior
Slipping inside past the suicide hinged doors we are greeted with a purple framed doors with very nicely sculpted two tone gray leather curved panels.  A billet locking assembly is seen within this padded leather field.   A purple suede strip is on for some highlighting as well.  Grabbing a spot in the bucket, in front of the billet styled uber padded steering wheel, I plant myself in low back tuck and roll insert and smooth bolster leather seats.  These present in half of the seat being light gray and the bottom half in darker gray all leather.  That purple suede strip is showing up on the upper panels of the backs.  The dash which is painted in purple, has a gaggle of round shiny bezeled white faced instruments.  These are TPI Tech gauges  and reside here along with some warning lights, and a few billet style pulls.  Power window toggles are here as well.  Below is wonderfully clean carpeting with a custom fabricated hump cover in gray leather which is the background for the Lokar shifter.  Beautifully tight side panels and a near perfect light gray padded headliner complete the comfortable look.  Also noted behind the seats is a custom fabricated shelf which houses an AM/FM/CD digital radio and a storage bin behind a black padded white stitched door.  The trunk has been finished in gray leather as well and has side storage which is hidden and a fuse panel on top neatly mounted into the leather.  Fab job!

  Drivetrain
Under the hood or go naked with sans hood, is pure automotive art in the form of a super shiny 426ci Hemi V8.  Dual 4-barrel Holley 650cfm carbs are feeding it under a machine look blower and scoop.  Chrome valve covers add some extra bling to the Hemi and on each side and these are capped with custom made headers.  All braided stainless hoses and HD Mallory ignition with red Taylor wiring are used to help light the fire.  On the back is a TH350 3-speed automatic coupled with a Ford 9 inch rear axle.  Pure machined mayhem in this Hemi.

  Undercarriage
Near perfection underneath with many polished parts, black painted frame and floor pans,  polished headers, and a purple bottom end to the mill.  Braided stainless lines snake their way around this environment as well, and I see a rack and pinion steering along with independent coil overs in front and in back, ladder bars with coil overs.  Wilwood disc brakes are all around and the polished side exit pipes have no mufflers and peek out the sides of the car.

  Drive-Ability
These cars are waaaay over this writer's head, so I had my partner in crime take me for a spin, and it was a neck snapper fer sur.   We experienced and I felt plenty of acceleration, good handling and plenty of stopping power and with this car you definitely need it!  It had many creature comforts and all of the work.  The radio and horn were inoperable at the time of the test drive.

A true race car that can be driven on the street with awesome loud paint, plenty of creature comforts, and all in pristine clean order.  Even the undercarriage you could eat off of, but please nothing greasy!  Show and go...like hell!
