
Many people find are finding it difficult to find something to do while also stay safe. Well the good folks at Goodguys Rod and Custom Association, recently announced the first-ever “Goodguys Friday Night At The Drive-In” scheduled for Friday, September 11, 2020 at The Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, CA.
The event is open to Goodguys Members who are highly encouraged to attend the event in pre-1987 hot rod, muscle car or truck, or a late model show-quality vehicle. Face coverings are mandatory for all attendees and movie-goers are permitted to walk around and check out the other hot rods throughout the evening but must wear face coverings and practice social distancing while doing so. Congregating in groups of (6) or more is not allowed at any time. Each Participating Hot Rod Will Receive A Window Card & Goodie-Bag Upon Arrival and all participating hot rods are eligible to win a “Top 10” Award.

Parking spots for the event go on sale, Monday, August 24 at 10AM/PST and are $60 each with a maximum of (6) guests per vehicle. Gates will open for the event at 6:00PM/PST, with the featured movie, “Grease”, starting at approximately, but no later than 8:30PM/PST. Outside food & beverage is permitted. Food, beer, wine and specialty drinks will also be available for purchase at the “Grab & Stay” Food Truck Lot. Sound for the show will be broadcast over an FM signal.
