What more can you say about this ‘37 owned by Gary Myers of Hamilton, Indiana. After all, he bought back his great grandfathers farm that he had owned since 1901 and was used for the raising of Hogs. Over 60 acres, it is now beautifully landscaped and used for recreation - what else but as Harley Davidson’s are affectionately called, “Hog’s” for several biker events each year.
This is a Coast to Coast car painted ‘08 Lamborghini Orange. Particular care was taken and a lot of hard work shows as it has a base of many pearl undercoats, 6 coasts of paint and 6 coats of clear. Gary paid particular attention to all the insides of the cowl and hood too and credits Dean Baysinger in Indiana for spraying the many coats to make her shine! Gaps were all painstakingly measured and worked to perfection, they’re laser straight!
Powered by a 350/350 chevy combo and a Ford 9” rear with 3:77 gears it rolls on Cloy chrome wheels (215/45ZR17’s front, 275/35Zr20’s rear). Exhaust gases are spent via all-stainless steel Magnaflow mufflers and pipes.
The all black leather interior is by Brian Bodie, Dolphin gauges spell out the vitals as well as rockin’ tunes from a Sony CD. Who needs a radio tho when all you have to do is drop the top, which hides neatly away under a flip-up panel. The top is an all black canvas called Hartz-cloth. Seeing down the highway is handled by stock 39 Ford headlights, about the only thing “old school” about his ride he says.
I caught up with Gary at a local show here in Daytona Beach. He visits every year he says, staying in Sandford, Fl for the bulk of those nasty winter months. Soon he’ll have to get back to business tho as he heads up several events every year at the converted Hog Farm back in Indiana (MyersHogHill.com). While Bikes are king in his household, this ride is one Wild Hog that is a winner at any show or getting down the highway. Hog Wild, you betcha and we’re diggin’ it, Gary!
