Holley and Hooker Headers purchased a 2015 Ford Mustang GT over a year ago. The 5.0L Coyote V8 packed 435 horsepower, and the optional Performance Pack added 19" wheels with Pirelli PZero tires, Bremboo 6-piston calipers, and 15-inch rotors up front, and several other enhancements. But, of course, Holley and Hooker aren't known for touting stock cars. After being used for R&D, the BlackHeart Mustang was ready to find its way into a lucky owner's garage.
Holley and Hooker teamed up with several other companies to bring the BlackHeart Mustang to its full potential. Once the Hooker BlackHeart exhaust system was installed to free up some horsepower and give it the sound of a true muscle car, the focus was turned elsewhere. The Mustang was made to be more well-rounded with a set of Eibach springs, Forgeline wheels, and an MGW shifter. The winner of the Mustang would also receive a set of Hooker BlackHeart longtube headers, a DiabloSport T1000 programmer, Airaid cold air intake, and a NOS nitrous system to make the car track-ready.
Tens of thousands of entries were made for the Mustang. Ron Masters of Frankfort, Indiana had lady luck on his side when it came time to draw.
It was a comical scene when Ron Masters showed up to pick up his prize. Watch the video below to see what surprises they had in store for the lucky winner.
