MotorHead Media announced last week that two of its niche-focused websites, www.RacingJunk.com and www.HotRodHotLine.com, have formed a partnership with the new X-treme Drag Racing League (X-DRL) for the 2013 season.
The X-DRL is a premier eighth-mile drag racing league that debuted during the 2013 season. Its next event, Mayhem at the Creek, takes place on June 26-27 at Maryland International Raceway, in Mechanicsville, MD.
“We are very excited to be part of the X-DRL during its inaugural drag racing season. They have already presented a thrilling new drag racing series and we know it’s just going to continue to grow,” said Shawn Stewart, Director of Business Development at MotorHead Media. “By partnering with the X-DRL, we can provide a free, fast and effective way for series competitors and fans to buy and sell performance-related equipment.
“In addition to being a sponsor, we are passionate about drag racing and its deep rooted history in American Motorsports. Many of the people who work at MotorHead Media are drag racers, too, and we’re all fans of the X-DRL and the brand of racing they present. We want to support the X-DRL, its competitors and the future of drag racing overall, and we’re looking forward to this partnership.”
The action-packed X-DRL series is in its inaugural season touring premier tracks from Tulsa Raceway Park to Bristol Dragway to zMax Dragway in Charlotte, which serves as RacingJunk’s home track. The series features nine exciting classes hosting many of the top professional doorslammer and Pro Modified drivers in the world.
“This is the perfect time for such ideal sponsors like RacingJunk and HotRod HotLine to come on board,” said Keith Goolsby, X-DRL Account Executive. “This partnership is the ideal framework for the suppliers and racing community to stay involved with some of the most exciting racing in the world.
“RacingJunk and HotRodHotLine have created an incredible network and we look forward to working with them to help grow their brand while bringing even more recognition to the X-DRL and our racers.”
