Mark Stielow Camaro Reunion Set for Goodguys 24th Heartland Nationals

Des Moines, IA - Mark Stielow, The Godfather of Pro Touring, will be attenting the Goodguys 24th Heartland Nationals in Des Moines with Independence Day Fireworks.  The event historically marks the first time the five iconic Camaros will be gathered together. The cars will be displayed together at the foot of Grand Ave in front of the yellow Goodguys show rig.

Stielow created the Pro-Touring movement in the early 90s by engineering hot rodding's first g-machine style competition cars.  An Engineering Group Manager in Advance Vehicle Dynamics at General Motors, Stielow launched the Pro Touring movement by taking a new approach to the Pro Street Scene.  He debuted multiple cars in the 90s that featured numerous new features and capabilities.

"It's exciting for sure," Stielow said about the reunion.  "The reunion was an idea from Hot Rod Magazine.  They suggested getting some of my old projects together for a little fun.  We're all looking forward to it."

In Des Moines, fans will ge the opportunity to photograph the historic reunion.
